- thenativeraver, on 10/12/2007, -6/+47Microwave weapons are scary.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+31Now all we need to do is waste money on development of a ROFL-gun
Just point...shoot...and ROFL - mrdeeds2324, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22I think I'll digg you down for a different reason..
- synystar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+21EMR weapons anyway...according to the article this is based on RF, which, I believe, is lower frequency than microwave.
- pytis, on 10/12/2007, -5/+24You mean bulimia? Anorexia is where you DON'T EAT.
- jerryparid, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21Anorexia is generally used as self starvation, while Bulimia is used as regurgitation.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18an angry mob turned into a raunchy gathering of vomitouse conventioners
- thcobbs, on 10/12/2007, -3/+20Well, is it better than shooting someone with a slug of lead?
- mc7winkie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16I love how he puts this and his other comment gets buried also. Talk about pwned.
- pytis, on 10/12/2007, -2/+17No.
- mc7winkie, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17@andre
I don't think I have ever been so disgusted before. Thank you for ruining my evening. - phantom_mullet, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14Bulimic? YOU CAN READ MINDS?!
- bamapachyderm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Thank God for the "remove this permanently" extension in Firefox. I couldn't read that article with the picture of the dude puking.
- sedo1800, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14My tin foil hat will protect me.
- Harbinger67, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13I'm suing the government. I'm positive the Navy has been following me around on weekends and testing this on me at parties.
- bebop717, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12When can civilians buy this "vomit beam"?
- sputza, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Its just a picture, relax. What makes me gag is when you smell someone else vomiting.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -4/+12they like it:

at least killing someone provides a bit of restraint to the mind of the person wielding the weapon, when you just incapacitate or wound them you become too ready to fire. Haven't we all seen the videos of cops mindlessly tazoring people? - synystar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Agreed. Truly unnecessary.
- nallelcm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7This is better than that 'pain ray' or what ever it was, that was posted here a while back.
- Sneakernets, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I"d go for that!
- spookyttws, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9I'm just Burying you because you refuse to move on.
- peppy57, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Doesn't this remind anyone of the "Sick Stick" in Spielberg's Minority Report?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Wow, there was a nice pic there to look at too, while i was eating dinner... thanks.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Except this thing isn't microwaves. A look at the patent reveals that it simply plays "My Humps" by the Black Eyed Peas at high volume in a focused beam.
- kerryhall, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6No one should have technology like this, not government, not private citizens.
- woojoo, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Microwaves? Is that why all my foods taste like puke?
- zclip, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7That's actually a fairly humane weapon for say breaking up riots etc. I mean sounds like a good night at the bars.
- consonance, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8Apparently the gun also legally changes your name to Ralph.
- shoota, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6soon they will harness the power of the brown noise, and the prophecy set forth in south park will be complete.
- purple, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Brown note.
- Jugalator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Yeah, let's limit their weapons to guns and stuff.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6couldn't they have just used Jagermeister? it always works for me...
- SultanTravi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Mobs charging embassies don't usually lug around big electronic devices that costs thousands or millions of dollars.
- tech42er, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5@phantom
Dugg for the Zoolander reference. Great movie. - LarianLeQuella, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6The funny thing I have seen from some folks regarding all these non-lethal weapons is that they claim that they are inhumane and degrading.... Soooo, you'd rather have the only option open to a soldier to shoot you with a bullet then?
- jstone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@willynilly
I heard they're coming out with a more powerful version that plays fergalicious. - yeahaboutthat, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8The military was late getting started with this technology. Hell, I picked up one of those vomit shooters at Car Audio Shack up the road about a year ago. Works OK. Melted a couple of old folks outside a Pizza Hut. Battery pack is a bitch to haul around however.
- bronstad, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3use the force, Puke
- weister42, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I'd mount the vomit beam on my car then drive around...with remote control!
- Aquashark, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3must be based on a britney album played at low frequency..
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Just show me a picture of Cheney. That makes me puke.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4This will help create harmony and peace in the world. I'm glad those scientists have our best interests at heart.
- nyx210, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Your tax dollars at work.
- senseigmg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I don't throw up, I throw down!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3And I thought it was finally time to put my tin foil hat in the closet, guess I was wrong!
- DforSpiD, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Oh damn, and I still haven't found the brown noise...
