- Tylui, on 11/03/2007, -5/+57Bahaha, that is the funniest thing I've heard, next to the ATHF scare...
- SquigglyP, on 10/28/2007, -14/+49The fact that Coheed fans are being dugg down is rock solid proof that the mass population of Digg are a bunch of mouth-breathing retards who wouldn't know what decent music was if it walked up and shot them in the face. I don't give a ***** if you agree or not, it's not my loss. Music is subjective, but all that means is that some people like ***** music, and in reality a lot of people seem to like ***** music. Don't try to argue subjectivity. It's like trying to argue that the ***** a 4 year old scribbles in crayon is as artistic and skillful as DaVinci. It's a flawed argument. To be honest I'm suprised Coheed is actually as popular as they are, it's a rare day when a band as good as them gets any air play at all.
- LordMorpheus, on 10/29/2007, -2/+34Good eye, window sniper.
- nicpedersen, on 10/26/2007, -2/+33Good eye sniper
- awgg919, on 10/29/2007, -4/+34Wow. Claudio should be proud!
- awgg919, on 10/28/2007, -1/+24Hey, does anyone have a printable stencil version of a keywork?
- swrostmore, on 10/25/2007, -0/+20Yeah, a radical subculture of people who are into advertising their favorite band's new record. Totally subversive, maannn.
- inactive, on 10/28/2007, -2/+21The fear mongering over the "war on terror" and the anti-gunners have turned this into a country of pussies. This is more proof of it.
- paulbobrookins, on 10/28/2007, -2/+20They aren't getting dugg down because they are Coheed fans. They are getting dugg down because their comments are pointless and dull and don't contribute anything to the site.
- bmdubya, on 10/26/2007, -4/+22I'm from Kansas, and it is no surprise. Most people here listen to country or rap. I'm one of the few that listens to rock. It is great to see farm kids wearing cowboy hats, driving big trucks and blasting hip-hop. I always think, that is the whitest boy listening to hip-hop.
- SquigglyP, on 10/26/2007, -1/+18wow
- whiterussian, on 10/25/2007, -0/+11Didn't Insane Clown Posse have some sort of epic story spanned across all their albums? Which proves the point, just because something is conceptual doesn't make it good.
- Rkocour, on 10/25/2007, -1/+12I go to KU and i had no idea about this. I think they are making a big deal out of the idiots here.
- Evildudetx, on 10/25/2007, -1/+10Paranoid dumbasses.......
- noahhoward, on 10/25/2007, -0/+7Yeah I mean, jesus, I thought everyone knew every band logo by heart now.
- amneosis, on 10/28/2007, -2/+9That is so Onion apart from the fact that Onion articles are more professionally written.
- SmackMyMac, on 10/25/2007, -2/+9"When down on the street, The corner boys ***** ***** up" - Devil in Jersey City (coheed and cambria - second stage turbine blade)
- kaintehdragoon, on 10/25/2007, -1/+8He has such a mastery of the English language...
- blahtastic, on 10/25/2007, -0/+6This single article attracted more of the youtube comment crowd than any Digg article that came before it. 0.o Truly the diggpocalypse is nigh...
- Rkocour, on 10/25/2007, -1/+7Seriously, KU is awesome, i go here, and i didn't even here about this until right now. I'm pretty sure the article is blowing it out of proportion, because there are idiots everywhere, not just Kansas.
- profOblivion, on 10/25/2007, -1/+7I'll shoot; you run.
- aznedy, on 10/28/2007, -0/+6I have a large image 1000x1099. It could be used as a stencil.
edit: I found it here: http://img116.echo.cx/img116/2811/keyworklogo5xy.j ... - xneverenderx, on 10/25/2007, -2/+8lol, nice one LordMorpheus. They should have printed "Prepare for The Reaping. Gravemakers and Gunslingers will arrive soon." under the date.
I'm sure that would have went over big, lol. - SquigglyP, on 10/25/2007, -1/+6I've got some Rush cd's. You can't compare the two bands at all. Yeah they use the same high-pitched type of singing, but it's totally different music. You should probably be listening to the Four Seasons, they did that ***** WAY before Rush.
- SpaceEdge, on 10/25/2007, -0/+5Because the media are a bunch of *****
- moskaudancer, on 10/25/2007, -1/+6If I'm reading that right, he must have really sharp balls. That's a big "if", though...
- SquigglyP, on 10/25/2007, -2/+6Go back to your Mudvayne now, you ***** *****.
- SquigglyP, on 10/25/2007, -1/+5pop implies that it's popular. Apparently Radiohead and NIN are pop. Coheed is not.
- aaronm67, on 10/25/2007, -0/+4I don't know, but not indie. Indie = independent record label. Coheed and Cambria is signed with Columbia, so they aren't "Indie."
- xtc46, on 10/25/2007, -0/+4pop is the new sub culture.
- Cabose, on 10/25/2007, -0/+3Journalists are taught to put important information in the first 2 paragraphs because most people don't read past there. And what a shock, Fox News decides to approve a story that puts the idea of shootings before the truth of a band putting out a cd. Go Fox!
- Velirno, on 10/25/2007, -0/+3I'll have you know that I breathe out of my nose quite often.
- nreynolds, on 10/25/2007, -0/+3why are you asking us?
- DivisibleByZero, on 10/28/2007, -1/+4Having never heard of the band before, I decided to listen to one of their songs with the full expectation of telling you they sucked and you're a moron for thinking they're good.
I was wrong though. Not exactly my style, but I enjoyed it for what it was. Also pleasantly amused by the mismatch between the singer's voice and physical appearance. - nymphetamine, on 10/25/2007, -0/+3I'm sorry. That's not a hair question.
- aaronm67, on 10/25/2007, -0/+3...since when is Coheed and Cambria "indie" music?
- Mojin, on 10/25/2007, -1/+4Well I happen to like Coheed and Cambria.
I know a lot of people that hate them and if I ask the only reason that they have for not liking them is because Claudio sings in a higher pitched voice then most. They don't even give Coheed a chance, after hearing just a snippet of one song everyone always says "the singer sounds like a chick, so their *****' emo they suck."
I could care less if someone does not like their music, but at least give them a chance before you say they suck. - guestaccount, on 10/25/2007, -0/+3Yes, they are terrorists.
/sarcasm - aaronm67, on 10/25/2007, -1/+4People who think their musical tastes are better than everyone elses are pretty ***** annoying. If a band is on the radio, that odesn't make it automatically bad, and you're not a bad ass because you listen to a bunch of bands most people haven't heard of.
- profOblivion, on 10/25/2007, -0/+3Thank you for actually commenting on the story.
- Velirno, on 10/25/2007, -1/+3Dugg down for forgetting the bipolar frowny face ----> :(
- DivisibleByZero, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2Why are parents calling the school over this *****? I want to see my parents call the mayor of the city I live in next time anything bad happens...
- raeanin, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2prog rock
- mrlost117, on 10/25/2007, -1/+3actually, you need to RTFA
- veter, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2Poor man's Rush? You've got no clue what you're talking about. Both bands are amazing in their own right.
- muse09, on 10/25/2007, -1/+3i go to KU and it i think lawrence is one of the most diverse cities around the midwest, you can find like every kind of person walking down mass. street downtown. but like 1% of the people here drive big trucks and wear cowboy hats.. but a ton of them listen to like indie music. very coooooool
- dude300, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2that article looked like it was written by a 4 year old... leave it to fox news
- xImBurningStar, on 10/25/2007, -0/+2My favorite band. Awesome publicity.
- brandtson, on 10/28/2007, -1/+3free advertising ftw
- Kardall, on 10/25/2007, -1/+3Ya, it's like 5 or 6 albums or something like that. From what I can figure out from people who listen to it, it's like: 1) Introduction 2-5) The 4 Joker Cards and 6) Finale. I don't listen to them a lot, so I don't know how accurate that is, but it is something along that line :)

What is Digg?
