- Hipple, on 02/04/2008, -2/+126Good lord, even its teeth have teeth.
- mygans, on 02/04/2008, -1/+79Asian Reporter Trisha Takanawa?
- lkmbrd, on 02/04/2008, -3/+56Submitted perspell-check.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 02/04/2008, -1/+41It usually lives 6000 feet under water. Chances are it was already going to die if it was that close to the surface. Deep see creatures don't just take a morning swim on the surface for nothing. It tends to be a pretty painful experience for them considering the change in pressure.
- dsully215, on 02/04/2008, -2/+34This video is perhistoric. It was already posted almost a year ago...
- Tyrghast, on 02/04/2008, -3/+31Gotta love the Japanese "Holy *****, I found something ***** weird!" "Sweet lets catch it!"
- nblsavage, on 02/04/2008, -1/+22I don't see it myself, this thing has a spine.
- Sornos, on 02/04/2008, -3/+22It died of natural causes.
- acolonf6, on 02/04/2008, -1/+20So what the hell does it taste like?! Come on Japanese don't let me down...
- TheTaoOfBill, on 02/04/2008, -0/+18I think the gills were popping out so much because of the change of pressure it must have endured from going from 6000 feet to the surface. Maybe I'm wrong though. But I would imagine there would be some damage to the sharks body from doing something like that.
- inactive, on 02/04/2008, -0/+13Will you shut up? It was going to die anyway, period.
- Braxo, on 02/04/2008, -1/+14The teeth and gills of the shark were interesting, and living in the Deep Sea must be a like living a nightmare.
- Cenobite, on 02/04/2008, -1/+14I dugg this because I found it interesting and I've never seen it before, and I couldn't care less about 5min.com.
- slimkevi, on 02/04/2008, -0/+13Look at those teeth! Darharharharhar... DARHARharharhar.... DARHARHARHARHARHAR
- mygans, on 02/04/2008, -0/+13there is one shark in one history
- BigBallistix, on 02/04/2008, -2/+14600 metres. Lol at 6000 feet. Adapt you pagan, learn the metric system.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 02/04/2008, -1/+12It's not like they put a harpoon in it. They observed it and they tried to take it to a safe pressurized tank but it didn't make it. Just look at it. Does it not look sick to you? It looked very weak. They aren't supposed to be that close to the surface.
- InfinitySnatch, on 02/04/2008, -0/+10I was hoping for more along the lines of MEGALODON.
- zeebo, on 02/04/2008, -0/+10They should eat it in the name of science!
- Chompy, on 02/04/2008, -0/+7Well it *did* die, so yeah.
- nsjoker, on 02/04/2008, -1/+8gyarados.

- civilizedevil, on 02/04/2008, -6/+12Are you talking about the shark or the British reporter who enunciates like she's chewing on marbles?
- Emnsta, on 02/04/2008, -2/+8This is so old, it's perhistoric.
- Roger, on 02/04/2008, -4/+10Don't ferak out dude.
- RetardoCrisp, on 02/04/2008, -0/+5This IS old...posted months and months ago. It is still a cool shark nonetheless. Change in temp and pressure is what killed it but they are not sure why it came from the depths. Possibly looking for food or caught in a net and escaped. Sad..we know about 2% of our alien ocean and we never will at the rate we are destroying and polluting it.
- Zoids, on 02/04/2008, -3/+8It's a lot easier to observe something in a box than at a few thousand feet underwater.
- badjoke, on 02/04/2008, -0/+5The resemble, huh?
- nepawoods, on 02/04/2008, -0/+5whooooosh .....
- vagrantwade, on 02/04/2008, -0/+5i'm almost positive this video is really old. Unless last year they had another frill shark they put in captivity that died.
- punkcat, on 02/04/2008, -1/+6they studied its Biology as well as its Mathematics. it apparently had several books of interest on it.
- lanzemurdok, on 02/04/2008, -0/+5Scary? yes. Old looking? yes. Delicious? maybe.
- Fuzi, on 02/04/2008, -0/+5http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frilled_shark
old post... the shark in the video is not healthy and deformed due to pressure?... - DarkJesus, on 02/04/2008, -2/+6Katrinasr's thoughts: "Hmm...people don't like George Bush. If I make some out of the blue insult about him, maybe everyone will like me".
Except it was more likely in moron speak. - wizzpig1337, on 02/04/2008, -1/+5resemblance -.-
- OJXs, on 02/04/2008, -0/+4liar!
- brokenex, on 02/04/2008, -2/+6dugg for perhistory!
- compoman, on 02/04/2008, -1/+5Did you watch the video? If you did you would blatantly see that it was all ready dieing. The non existent aura of a human doesn't kill an animal otherwise pets would not be possible. So think before you go on a tirade of ignorance.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 02/04/2008, -8/+12Does it really bug you THAT much? He got it right in the description so it was obviously just a typo. Does it really bug you that much that it's worth freaking out about?
- Emnsta, on 02/04/2008, -2/+5resemble is the verb
resemblance is the noun - shit, on 02/04/2008, -5/+8Com down. It's OK.
- nepawoods, on 02/04/2008, -1/+4It looks more like Yamuthers Bush.
- inactive, on 02/04/2008, -1/+4the next thing that should be killed is the ability to have words said or read to you and not be able to comprehend them. No observations though.
- nickkie72, on 02/04/2008, -2/+5The·o·ry: A set of statements or principles devised to explain a group of facts or phenomena, especially one that has been REPEATEDLY TESTED or is WIDELY ACCEPTED and can be used to make predictions about natural phenomena. Examples: Atomic Theory, Theory of Relativity, Plate tectonics, etc. Also, for clarification: The concept of a scientific law is closely related to the concept of a scientific theory. A scientific law attempts to describe an observation in nature while a scientific theory attempts to explain it.
- Nanobe, on 02/04/2008, -0/+3They said it was in bad condition when they found it (and *way* out of its natural habitat). They tried to move it into captivity, and it died shortly thereafter.
- themastersb, on 02/04/2008, -0/+3I like perhistory creatures
- TokenWhiteGuy, on 02/04/2008, -1/+4Hell, they eat every other damn thing.
- TheFiestyFaun, on 02/04/2008, -0/+3I'm never going to look at this unless you tell me what it is.
- pinguwin, on 02/04/2008, -1/+4They are a deep water species, ballpark 600-1200 meters down, so for one to be at the surface, it's going to be a hurting unit. On the occasions that deepwater squid are seen at the surface, they're usually not in good shape either. Wonderful animal.
- jonnyeh, on 02/04/2008, -0/+2I wouldn't.
