    GTD is a fairly well-understood acronym in the geek crowd I think. We don't ask what am HDD is or what you mean by RTFA. Did you RTFA? A picture of the book from which the system comes at the very top of the rather authoritative list of resources for GTD.

  • violentvinyl, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Exactly, pick one or two that sound interesting, and try them out. For instance, I'm a big fan of the analog stuff. The Cross pens and some of the Moleskine hacks are some things I hadn't seen before.

    Some of these were reviewed by Lifehacker, some were even Download of the Day. It would be more productive to look for software as you find a need though, not the other way around.

  • nicolaihel, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2@dartman: I don't think this list was meant to be read in its entirety. You should just choose the ones that sound interesting to you, or the ones that you need at this time. Later, if you need other resources, you can go back to the list. Great reference source.

    i'd like the 5 minutes of my life back that it took to look up what a gtd is...so much for getting things done...how about 'great list that you can read and waste hours of your life INSTEAD of getting something productive done!'
