- signal15, on 10/11/2007, -3/+10Eh, I'll look at it later.
- zero_bit, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I agree, it's nice to know what's out there. Is there a site that reviews these sorts of apps? I don't have time to wade through beta stuff =)
- zero_bit, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4Nice resource, some descriptions would be nice, though.
- prockcore, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5As a paying member of the Procrastinator's Guild.. I cannot abide GTD in any form.
- petroK, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5TLA ... that's a shameless use of a TLA
GTD is a fairly well-understood acronym in the geek crowd I think. We don't ask what am HDD is or what you mean by RTFA. Did you RTFA? A picture of the book from which the system comes at the very top of the rather authoritative list of resources for GTD. - damon72, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Great resource for GTD!
- violentvinyl, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Exactly, pick one or two that sound interesting, and try them out. For instance, I'm a big fan of the analog stuff. The Cross pens and some of the Moleskine hacks are some things I hadn't seen before.
"Is there a site that reviews these sorts of apps?"
Some of these were reviewed by Lifehacker, some were even Download of the Day. It would be more productive to look for software as you find a need though, not the other way around. - jmrozendaal, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2A fantastic resource. I will be spending some time with these nifty links.
- nicolaihel, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2@dartman: I don't think this list was meant to be read in its entirety. You should just choose the ones that sound interesting to you, or the ones that you need at this time. Later, if you need other resources, you can go back to the list. Great reference source.
- dartman111, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2I'm a big David Allen fan, but this seem excessive...how many resources must one browse before beginning to get things done?
- nateisablog, on 09/03/2008, -0/+1Don't forget this one! They take GTD to the next level with GSD! LOL
http://nosesplash.com/nate-is-a-blog/38-nate-is-a- ... - sclozza, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Maybe I am missing something, but I find this GTD fanaticism a little cult-ish.
- gregdogum, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1This blog post by zenhabits is ideal for those who have never heard of "GTD." Yes diggers, there are actually people out there who havnt heard of this. So it may be lame to you, but hey, it might not be so lame for others.
Dugged. - kilworth, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Stop browsing digg all day and reading lists about GTD..
Just ***** get things done! - gdgi, on 10/11/2007, -6/+4wtf is a gtd? dugg down for shameless and idiotic use of a tla in a topic title.
i'd like the 5 minutes of my life back that it took to look up what a gtd is...so much for getting things done...how about 'great list that you can read and waste hours of your life INSTEAD of getting something productive done!'
stupid - xcbxcb, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1I've read every goddamned link on that page and my warts are still there.
Buried as lame. - blogfuse, on 10/11/2007, -5/+2Awesome!
