- br0ken1128, on 10/11/2007, -1/+32Real pictures, misleading however
"Set in the Lion Park in South Africa, Dangerous Companions tells the story of Kevin Richardson, a zoologist and animal behaviouralist who raises and trains some of the most dangerous animals known to man. Defying convention, he encourages his subjects with love, trust and understanding - as opposed to the more common training methods that involve breaking an animal's spirit - and the result.."

- AugustZephyr, on 10/11/2007, -3/+25you almost made it through the headline without the word amazing! so close.
- merreborn, on 10/11/2007, -3/+23Irwin was killed by a critter he couldn't even see, much less touch and harass. The same was just as likely to happen to *anyone* swimming where he swam.
Were he killed by one of the many creatures he pounced on and wrestled into submission, you might have a point. - br0ken1128, on 10/11/2007, -0/+19They're real, they're just animals he trains however.. it's a lion park in south africa
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+21Not going to end well, but still very impressive.

- sexybobo, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12yes lions don't domesticate. you can have them so they don't eat you but they never really stop being wild. kinda like that guy that owned a monkey since it was born that bit the guys face off.

- iggee85, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10No, Tim Treadwell interacted with WILD bears without realizing how dangerous it is. This guy raised the lions and other animals since birth so he knows how to act around them. And those pictures are with the animals he really trusts. Check out some of the videos of him on youtube.

- Digg360, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6In picture 17, is that some sort of fence in the background? These animals could be located on some kind of reserve.
- bstew22, on 10/11/2007, -1/+5It must be an amazing feeling to be that close to those animals. Pic 2 and 3 are crazy.
- firearcade, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4was it just me checking Kevin's fingers and limbs to make sure they were all there?

- macaddct1984, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I'd probably react that way if I was kept in a cage and made to perform in a circus... and had razor sharp claws and teeth.
- yoshitomi, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4I never knew hyenas could look so cute.
- tyywebb, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4..........Well I guess Digg's as good a place as any to do it.
- OGTL, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6Indeed. Remember what happened to the guy that lived with teh grizz?
