- Eastlygod, on 10/12/2007, -1/+37After you just paid $5 for a lottery ticket, you would have thought he would have at least read the rules.
I know, I'll just scratch of the boxes and hope the money appears right in front of me. Isn't it annoying that idiots win all the money... - chrono13, on 10/12/2007, -0/+28"The lottery is a tax on people bad at math."
One of my favorite quotes. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+28Why am I not surprised that someone who throws away their money would also throw away a winning lottery ticket.
- olddirtycr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+27Because only idiots buy lottery tickets.
Woodard said he will continue to play the lottery. "I just won't be throwing anymore tickets away," he told the lottery.
He needs to stop playing and come up above. - dengar69, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Now here's a good story. A friend of mine's dad would always spend $20 on lotto tickets every week. Mom got pissed one week and only bought $10 instead of the normal $20 for him....the winning lotto numbers were on the other entries that she did not pay for. The lotto was like $17 million. They almost got a divorce over it.
- SHIFTderek, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14how come only dumbasses win the lottery?
- TheSaladMan, on 10/12/2007, -5/+16If it's such a small amount of money then you won't mind giving that much to me, I accept PayPal and will be looking forward to your payment.
- alcimedes, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10The lottery is a stupidity tax.
- Drull, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9My gf was sitting on a bench at a mall, looked down and saw a scratch and win ticket. Bored, she picked it up, and sure enough it was worth $10,000. Some idiot didn't match up the three "10,000" values and tossed it, but missed the trash can.
She pissed her pants.
Took it to a lotto booth in the mall, to verify it was real. The ***** piece of ***** tried to keep it saying it was worthless. She told him if he did not hand it back to her, she would come over the counter and get it back herself. He handed it back, and she got the money.
I wonder how often this happens. - yellowsnowcone, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10surprised his name isn't Earl
- Nitro187, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9What a lucky bastard.... twice!
- diggless, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9the winners are players, and the winners are dumbasses then it stands to reason that the players are dumbasses as well.
Thus to avoid being a dumb ass don't play the lottery. - andyrobo60, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I bet he will read the instructions on things from now on
- quanta88, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Speaking about the shady lottery clerk, the CBC's "fifth estate" (basically a Canadian "60 Minutes") recently ran an expose pointing out that Canadian lottery clerks seemed to have a higher chance of winning the lottery than what statistical probability would dictate...

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3No they won't. No money, no tax.
- garethevans, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Because the only intelligent people involved in a lottery are the ones that are running it.
- anonydigg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"Mom got pissed one week and only bought $10 instead of the normal $20 for him....the winning lotto numbers were on the other entries that she did not pay for. The lotto was like $17 million."
More like mom is rich and dad doesn't know. :) - immatellyouwhat, on 03/21/2009, -0/+1If they're so intelligent, why don't they rig it to win the money themselves and make it untraceable?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1If the officials know that he won it most propably he should get the gift ;)
- levyjl1988, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1And that's why reading the instructions are very important...
- phenolholic, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2tell that to the guy that won $100,000. yeah, i'm sure he paid more than $100,000 in his lifetime on lottery ticket taxes. sure, if everyone plays, it's a lucrative business, but being that winner makes it all the worthwhile.
- tafkase7en, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I was joking obviously...
- dagonweb, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1And you can bet the tax office is gonna slap a nice tax on his ass, whether or not he found his ticket.
- olddirtycr, on 10/12/2007, -15/+8I'm glad to hear you can throw away 100,000$. For a lot of people that is a lot of money and over a years pay.
- dtd00d, on 10/12/2007, -13/+1Note to self: know HOW to win $100,000 before attempting to do so.
At least he found it. - olddirtycr, on 10/12/2007, -22/+3Miscommented, Bury Please.
- captinherb, on 10/12/2007, -29/+7Lets see, 2.5 hours for $100,000 works out to .000024242 youtubes an hour. Now that is a nice hourly wage
- tafkase7en, on 10/12/2007, -29/+4Meh, it's only 100 thousand.....
