That, to me, invalidates the court settlement. Who are we to judge the outcome of said settlement if the father and courts had known the truth at the time? The settlement is based on a foundation of deceit and thus is unjust. - elister, on 01/08/2009, -1/+3He paid for child support for 16 years, he agreed to this in the divorce, just because hes not the father doesnt invalidate the original divorce agreement. Was there a clause stating that "If the DNA does not match that of the offspring, all child payments are null and void"? Divorce papers need to be updated with the times because getting DNA testing wasnt a very common thing 20-30 years ago.
