- tidu, on 02/24/2009, -2/+124...the *****?
- Lavarock, on 02/24/2009, -5/+108Oh thank god she was only bound gagged and force to ***** on herself, and didn't get sexually assaulted.
- Tarkaan, on 02/24/2009, -5/+52I guess it's better the Bible than being forced to sit through the new Knight Rider series... The pilot alone made me lose control of my bowels.
- ThsGuyRightHere, on 02/24/2009, -21/+66Not that I'm a fan of any religious extremist, but it's really not far to cast the majority of Christians as being screwed up because of this nutjob. There are plenty of other reasons to disagree with Christian teachings, this just isn't one of them imo.
- inactive, on 02/24/2009, -22/+66That poor woman. Nobody should be forced to hear the bible read.
- a1lazydog, on 02/24/2009, -5/+48it get more wtf every time you read it
- charters14, on 02/24/2009, -38/+75Another heart warming story of people spreading the Good Word. Keep them coming, please. We won't stop until everyone has been saved. That women should be thankful that man tied her up, raped her ear, and made her ***** herself. Small price to pay for eternal life.
- raydeen, on 02/24/2009, -1/+32Ned Flanders finally snapped.
- jggube, on 02/24/2009, -5/+32Yeah, wtf... who takes 3 days to read a bible? Sinner.
- damentz, on 02/24/2009, -1/+27It's funnier without the '/s'.
- Fuckmypooplease, on 02/24/2009, -5/+30Yeah because every one of us Atheists are kind, warm hearted and good people.
- SirGronk, on 02/24/2009, -0/+22it rubs the lotion on its skin or else it gets the hose again.
- Primatelord, on 02/24/2009, -4/+26Wasn't this basically Black Snake Moan?
- NCSUspoon, on 02/24/2009, -0/+20If you want to make sure that someone isn't going to be a Christian, lock them in handcuffs, put them in an adult diaper and read them the bible for three days.
- xcentro, on 02/24/2009, -3/+23Maybe because sexually assault is a sin....
/s - GodAImighty, on 02/24/2009, -4/+23Even I can't explain that.
- grinsy, on 02/24/2009, -2/+19It's only fitting that his punishment will likely include eating something similar to the contents of that diaper from his cell mate named Thunder.
- ChiliMac, on 02/24/2009, -6/+23This man has done more in 3 day to hurt Christ's mission than Richard Dawkins could do in a lifetime. I am tired of people who claim to want to spread the word of Christ doing things that push people away from Christ.
- directedition, on 02/24/2009, -5/+22I think these Digg comments pretty much write themselves.
"Pointing out hypocrisy in religious institutions"
"Pointing out that only a minority are crazy like that"
"Random sexynakedgirls.com repeated 20 times"
"Extremely long debate about interpreting vague quotations from the Bible."
etc
etc
etc - StuartGibson, on 06/14/2009, -7/+23Well, clearly this one isolated case proves a causal link between the Bible and violent anti-social behaviour. Let's ban the Bible.
- Fabbyfubz, on 02/24/2009, -2/+17CONTRADICTION ALERT
- AtheistPride13, on 02/24/2009, -4/+19no the bible has never caused any harm check history nothing like the inqusition or crusades ever happened
- Bloodburn, on 02/24/2009, -3/+18When you see it, you will ***** your pants.....
So here is an adult diaper, ill read you the bible until you see it. - EarlOfLade, on 02/24/2009, -2/+17Alas. it's not an isolated issue. These people have gone off the deep end. You can find many equally insane religious people posting over at:
- Rapture Ready
- CARM
- Free Republic
- Yahoo Answers
- Conservapedia
and many other places. If you think this is an isolated incident, I challenge you to read:
http://fstdt.com/fundies/default.aspx?date=2009/02 ... - CpAmerica8, on 02/24/2009, -0/+15Don't forget about the person who always jumps into any thread with this little gem: "And weed is still illegal?'
- elhaf, on 02/24/2009, -0/+14He must have seen Black Snake Moan.
- tlenker, on 02/24/2009, -11/+25Your right. ALL Christians do this every Sunday. That is a very profound discovery, charters14. How will we ever get by now without our raping, handcuff and ***** diaper sermons?
- Rudegar, on 02/24/2009, -1/+15the story or the bible ?
- EntropyFan, on 02/24/2009, -2/+16EarlOfLade
Actually, it did. They hung the nutjobs, and let most standard soldiers go home.
Most Christians are good people, just like most atheists or Hindus or any other large, diverse group.
So I fail to see your point.
I'm reminded of Eddie Izzard:
"Then they found out Hoover was a transvestite. They said 'oh, that explains it'. If he was " (hands pushing away) "weirdo ***** transvestite!" (Pointing at himself) "Executive transvestite".
- wonkavsn, on 02/24/2009, -6/+19You would find a mentally ill person doing things similar to this. Let's not turn this into a religious issue.
- MelekTawus, on 02/24/2009, -0/+13That was pretty progressive policy in the Bronze Age.
- Jaablaze, on 02/24/2009, -6/+19or maybe he is just crazy...just a thought.
- banderwocky, on 02/24/2009, -0/+12There's a difference?
- mraza, on 02/24/2009, -1/+12LoL! If this guy was a muslim, this post would have thousands of comments slamming Islam, but since he is a christian, everyone is like "Dude! Thats Hot!" , "Really Strange"!!!!
Are you all rednecks? - asgardshill, on 02/24/2009, -9/+20Some of you anti-religious types really disgust me. This is the HOLY BIBLE we're talking about here people; nothing therein would EVER condone slavery, rape and sexual bondage like this lone nut committed.
"However, you may purchase male or female slaves from among the foreigners who live among you. You may also purchase the children of such resident foreigners, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property, passing them on to your children as a permanent inheritance. You may treat your slaves like this, but the people of Israel, your relatives, must never be treated this way." (Leviticus 25:44-46 NLT)
"When a man sells his daughter as a slave, she will not be freed at the end of six years as the men are. If she does not please the man who bought her, he may allow her to be bought back again. But he is not allowed to sell her to foreigners, since he is the one who broke the contract with her. And if the slave girl's owner arranges for her to marry his son, he may no longer treat her as a slave girl, but he must treat her as his daughter. If he himself marries her and then takes another wife, he may not reduce her food or clothing or fail to sleep with her as his wife. If he fails in any of these three ways, she may leave as a free woman without making any payment." (Exodus 21:7-11 NLT)
"As you approach a town to attack it, first offer its people terms for peace. If they accept your terms and open the gates to you, then all the people inside will serve you in forced labor. But if they refuse to make peace and prepare to fight, you must attack the town. When the LORD your God hands it over to you, kill every man in the town. But you may keep for yourselves all the women, children, livestock, and other plunder. You may enjoy the spoils of your enemies that the LORD your God has given you." (Deuteronomy 20:10-14)
No, wait ... - xsecretfiles, on 02/24/2009, -10/+20I can see it now:
Man: "Get on your knees"
Woman: "Please don't rape me"
Man: "What?? no, that's how god likes it"
Woman: "You sick freak" - Sherman901, on 02/24/2009, -5/+15Get over yourself.
- Innuendo24, on 02/24/2009, -4/+14As a Christian (well, that's probably wrong, I was a christian, now I'm probably more of a non categorized theist), who the ***** does this guy think he is serving? I mean good God almighty. This is the "Christian guy on the street corner yelling at people coming out of a bar" syndrom taken to the extreme. Both are offensive and insulting to everyone (especially the people you are trying to "convert"). I mean did these people even bother to read the part about "all your sins are forgiven because Jesus did good" in ALL FOUR GOSPELS.
I swear I hate religion so damn much. What's the Ghandi Quote, "I like your Christ, but don't like your Christians." or something like that. Christians continually amaze me with their fervent hypocrisy. I honestly think people would be more Theistic where it not for organized religion. - dwtc, on 02/24/2009, -7/+16Why is it that if a kid who plays video games shoots up a school or other public place, we all rush to defend video games, because it was just the kid's screwed-up brain that made him do something bad. But when somebody does something sick while reading the Bible, there's a big rush to condemn religion, Christianity in particular.
Just like the vast majority of kids who play video games will never plot to kill innocent people, the vast majority of Christians are nothing like this sick and terrible person. I don't believe that video games train or incite kids to become killers, and I don't believe that Christianity makes sane people kidnap people and tie them up or do other atrocities.
If some well-known atheist pundit called for an investigation of Christianity and lawsuits against churches every time something like this got reported, would we treat him the same way we treat Jack Thompson? - Qbryzan, on 02/24/2009, -0/+9I'll tell you what I believe - that's one amazing diaper!
Looks like the start of a new ad campaign - "Depends, so absorbent you can wear them for 3 days" - banderwocky, on 02/24/2009, -9/+18Religion is weird.
- Qbryzan, on 02/24/2009, -2/+11Could have been worse - at least it wasn't Vogon poetry.
- jeffhughes, on 02/24/2009, -16/+24Dude....that's HOT.
/s - sponeil, on 02/24/2009, -0/+8I don't know. When a woman sexually assaults a man, it generally doesn't involve actual sex. It's more like a painful assault of your sexual body parts (i.e. knives, cheese graters, fire, acid). I think I'd pick the 3-day lecture myself.
- cr14mson, on 02/24/2009, -0/+8Amen.
- qwertyxuiop, on 02/24/2009, -4/+11If you actually read the bible it seems that there is actually a very clear precedent for this sort of thing.
It's not all love and forgiveness in that thing. - wardsac, on 02/24/2009, -0/+7.... and out of their bowels into an adult diaper.
- twiztidsinz, on 02/24/2009, -0/+7***** off and die
