- SniperZero, on 08/15/2008, -17/+66Sigh this is why the courts are failing. Wasting time in stupid ***** up cases like this. Seriously if you choose to live in an apartment your going have to deal with noises. How about thinking before you move into a fkn apartment.
- drunkmonkey01, on 08/15/2008, -2/+47Did you read the article? I was thinking the same thing as you when I read the title, but it turns out to be a bit misleading...
"Residents of Norris's publicly owned home had been complaining since 2006 about thumping music, banging headboards and screamed obscenities, Taggart said."
I mean come on, I know there's gonna be noise in apartments but to continually annoy the crap out of everyone around you is just a dick move. - Tomamama, on 08/15/2008, -1/+42A "***** apartment" indeed.
- tmyprod, on 08/15/2008, -1/+40I now have a goal in life.
- dse78759, on 08/15/2008, -2/+40From the article: "Neighbors also complained about Norris sunbathing naked in her yard,."
The picture is becoming clearer: this chick is fat and/or ugly, and no one wants to picture coupling of the barnyard variety. - techblogLAT, on 08/15/2008, -1/+39Not the Onion?
- russ3, on 08/15/2008, -9/+45She is a classic nightmare neighbor," Taggart said, insisting the case was not about sex. "It's about allowing your neighbors to have a normal decent life without being disturbed."
I am glad to see the neighbors practice as they preach. - BlackTye, on 08/15/2008, -5/+36Banned? They should give him a medal.
- metalgel, on 08/15/2008, -3/+32im a noisy masturbator. does this mean i can be banned from my own home?
- blorc, on 08/15/2008, -0/+28Zing!
- inactive, on 08/14/2008, -0/+27he probably leaves it unsecured.. hence the apology
- BinaryFragger, on 08/15/2008, -1/+27Palms don't scream.
- Weezy323, on 08/15/2008, -0/+22Dude. My neighbors have really loud sex that I can hear through my window. But is lasts only three minutes, so I never complain. But I bet the chick does.
- ironeus, on 08/14/2008, -1/+18I hope it's encrypted with a strong key.
- alwilson, on 08/15/2008, -5/+22Sometimes I blast porn over my speakers so that the neighbors will think I'm having sex. Maybe that's what these people are doing?
- buddyfarr, on 08/15/2008, -1/+16he means to actually have sex with another person...LOL!
- Kenzan, on 08/15/2008, -0/+12Shouting at the top of your lungs, "SHOVE THE ***** CANTALOUPE DEEPER YOU SICK BASTARD!!!" doesn't really qualify that as "knowing how to *****."
- baldbean, on 08/15/2008, -0/+11There used to be this couple who would go at it all the time last summer. The chick would moan and moan for ever. One of the neighbors must of got fed up and yelled, "*****' cum already!!!" and the moaning stopped. Never heard the moaning again.
- leif777, on 08/15/2008, -1/+11No sound clip?
- bjs3171, on 08/15/2008, -1/+11wow. THERE'S a court order i'd instruct to promptly bite me.
- TheR3dMenace, on 08/15/2008, -0/+9Best comment ive read all day
- darkfire79, on 08/15/2008, -0/+9That's what they make ball gag's for.
- hokie47, on 08/15/2008, -1/+9As long as it does not keep me up, the occasional women moaning sounds next door are hot. Sometimes my wife and I will compete against the neighbors.
- sailadayaway, on 08/15/2008, -1/+9Actually, I think the courts did fail. Barring the boyfriend probably won't make any difference in her behavior, perhaps the court should have been throwing HER out of the apartment...
- churler, on 08/15/2008, -8/+16I honestly don't think this is something the court should be allowed to dabble in.
- gyrfalcon, on 08/15/2008, -3/+10It's just like Britain to do something completely asinine in an attempt to solve a simple problem...
Are they breaking a law? Then fine the crap out of them... If a neighbors dog is barking or they're playing loud music you call the cops and they get a warning or fine, possibly even a misdemeanor and jail time.
You don't BAN someone from visiting someone else unless you live in some @#$!@# up society that doesn't value personal liberty. - homercles337, on 08/15/2008, -1/+7What are you talking about? Why are there so many reading comprehension challenged people in here? Mike Taggart is the Brighton and Hove City Council spokesman. What does the city council spokesman have to do with the neighbors practicing as they preach? And you got 19 diggs for this?
- dmsean, on 08/15/2008, -0/+6exactly. You can have all the noisy sex you want. but that does not include banging on the walls and loud music.....
- inactive, on 08/15/2008, -3/+8Do you dislike having this comment right below yours?
- quisph, on 08/15/2008, -1/+6I'm sure you won't mind when I move next door to you and play The Macarena on a constant loop, day in and day out, for months at a time. If you do mind, maybe you should have thought of that before you moved into a house with neighbors.
No one is saying that they expect complete silence from their neighbors. But that doesn't mean that any and all noises, at any and all hours, are reasonable.
But it's a good thing we have people like you, who have obviously heard all of the facts of the case, to come here and let the rest of us know about how teh cortz r failin zomg!! - inactive, on 08/15/2008, -1/+6"Neither Norris or Hinton could be immediately located for comment. Brighton and Hove is located in southern England"
Check the bedroom. - asnider, on 08/15/2008, -1/+6My old neighbours were loud *****, too. Dude's girlfriend was a screamer, and I could hear everything. One night my girlfriend and I actually had a "competition" where we tried to be louder than the people upstairs were (we heard them *****, so a few minutes later we decided that we were going to try and be louder than they were).
- inactive, on 08/15/2008, -0/+5did you read the article? It's public housing -- the government IS the landlord.
- 80andyhigh, on 08/15/2008, -0/+5only if you call yourself in to the authoritites.
- howdareyou, on 08/15/2008, -2/+7What if you're not in an apartment but live in ***** City?
Gob: 52% of the country is single. That's a market that's been dominated by apartment rentals. Let's take some of that market. I call it "Single City."
Gob: It's, like, "Hey, you want to go down to the whirlpool?" "Yeah, I don't have a husband." I call it "Swing City."
Stan Sitwell: Let's get into some new areas, if you don't mind.
Gob: How do we filter out the teases? We don't let them in.
Gob: This goes for the guys, too. Because sometimes the guys are tapped out. But check your lease, man. Because you're living in [bleep] City.
Stan Sitwell: You're fired. - Darqfallen, on 08/15/2008, -0/+4I think they only can do it because its public housing...
- highlymodified, on 08/15/2008, -1/+5Video or it didn't happen
- xeo4ke, on 08/15/2008, -1/+5Sorry, but I'm siding with the "noisy" people. I live above a neighbor who has made complaints about us since we've moved in 2 years ago.
We make really no noise. Perhaps watch a movie and yes sometimes those have those moments where even you have to turn it down for a second. Or have sex yes. Can get loud.
But seriously, the lady that lives below us is just a lonely fat bitch and has nothing better to do but complain every time someone makes a peep.
There is no reason for the courts to step in on this. Don't like it. Move. I'm sure the other neighbors are enjoying themselves. - leif777, on 08/15/2008, -1/+5great... now if I can get your mother to read it to me it'll be great...
- Ravatar, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3They're invading the rights of others: such as the right to peace and quiet (especially at night). Hence they deserve to have their own rights restricted until they learn to respect others.
- flaran, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3So now they'll do it across the street...
- PHiZ187, on 08/15/2008, -1/+4I saw this headline and knew immediately it was the UK. Man that place is so *****.
- HtomSirveaux, on 08/16/2008, -0/+3Does the 'lonely, fat bitch' have a 6-year-old? Do you guys sun-bathe nude or yelling expletives at the top of your lungs like the article described? Loud sex when you KNOW other people can hear it is very rude and pretentious. After reading the details, I'd have to side with the courts. Living in an apartment works both ways.
You must respect other people's right to do what they please, but also not cross the line yourself.
Honestly I wouldn't go to the courts, though. I'd have some fun of my own like jamming gum in their mail box, downloading all the Rammstein, Barry Manilow, Daft Punk, Moody Blues, Nine Inch Nails, and gay porn I could with multiple sub-woofers faced down or taped to the ceiling/wall, depending on what neighbor they are, on full blast in the afternoon when you know they are sleeping when wifey has taken the kid for a walk, etc. - homercles337, on 08/15/2008, -2/+5I honestly dont think this is something that churler READ.
- sanman, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3is there a webcam connected to this router, by any chance?
- Nupeper, on 08/15/2008, -0/+3ugh I think her cold sore might be about to eat her face....
