- Stonedonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Based on how little they say about themselves, and how there's no way to contact them outside of an email address and a PO Box in Isreal (you read that right, it's in the privacy policy), I'm pretty sure that this is a spam harvesting operation. Usually these groups have like, you know, phone numbers and physical addresses. And a staff. Their "About" page is a bunch of fluffy ***** that says nothing about who they are or where they came from.
Also: "In the event that Wishood and/or its units or subsidiaries are ever sold, acquired, merged, liquidated, reorganized, or otherwise transferred, we reserve the right to transfer our user databases together with any personally identifiable information contained therein, to a third-party acquiring Wishood's assets. In the event we do so, we will place a prominent notice of the sale on the homepage of our site, with links to information as to how you can change your privacy preferences." Changes which are not necessarily legally binding.
Just sayin. - totorototoro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6...is it spelled "Scarlett Johansen nude" or "Scarlet Johansson nude"..
- Chaotyk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Anybody read the "About" section?
"Through our implementation this mutual gestures exchange, we hope to enrich your emotional tool box for improving and strengthening your social relationships and also potentially to treat yourself more often, to indulge and to enjoy."
..."emotional tool box"? WTF is an "emotional tool box"? - poimaino, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I'm sticking to wells, thankyouverymuch.
- OOTay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3that web page looks a lot like bubblegum
- UltimaNut, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Spam. dugg down
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yes, but like 100% of the other things people wish for, you won't get it simply because of the "wish".
- clickwir, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I wish for sex.
Either with my gf or a clean hot chick. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Just like how the Marklars used to marklar the marklar on planet Marklar
- noxdineen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sounds pretty much like the Robinhood Fund (www.robinhoodfund.com), except that at RHF if the community votes your wish as deserving, they give you cash to actually get it accomplished.
- AllnightChemist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'll be trying one of these when I get home!
- webtech, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4More about this service, at this post:

Besides, I'm not sure bashing a comment that someone made on digg is the best way to market your company. He's just making an observation. - chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3does Jessica Alba count as a wish?
- mic3, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2very good :-D
- av05, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Lior, good luck :-)
- OneWorld21, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You got my digg.
- MrSunshine, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I know there's another website where you can add something you want to do or achieve and others can join you in that task. So the idea is... old?
- LiorK, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Hi,
I think we're unique in offering wish exchange interactions: make a wish, grant a wish, share an 'anything goes' wishlist (not only gifts).. more complex interactions are coming soon such as wish swap game and more..
It's all about wishing..
Best wishes!
Lior
Founder - alonr, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I like the idea - very christmas like ;-)
- LiorK, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Guess you have a point regarding the wording ;-)
Anyhow we did consult and considered as part of our concept the psychology of wishing and granting in a relationship. As we handle just a small aspect of that we wrote this...

Founder - LiorK, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Hey
This is Lior, founder of Wishood.
We didn't mention our phone number so you say we are spam?
What you took from our Privacy Policy is an industry standard. How else can things work when there's an acquisition??!
We work SO hard for over a year on this dedicating our time for making a wonderful service with the best intentions.... your comment is wrong.
Our office number in Israel is +972-3-9794614
Lior - Superhead, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Cool idea. Finally get my Xbox...maybe.
- HellifIno, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1Yay! I'm being doubtful again! Perhaps I'm edging upon "pessimist", but... WTF is this for? We already have many venues for expressing our wishes here in the US. They're called "religions", and they vary highly. However, almost ALL of them believe that "wishes" (statements of hope about other people, really, and occasionally about "self") can be somehow granted as "true" via "belief".
Meh, I'm just sayin'. - HellifIno, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1I'd ALSO like to say that I tried to edit my previous post, and when it timed out (FAR before the edit should have timed out) it truncated my previous post. I hit "back" on Firefox to where I originally posted, and hit "submit" again to see the full text of my comment available to everybody again. Something is wrong.
- Superhead, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1yeah, them and every other service on the web. what's the point?
- HellifIno, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Edit: Yer mom was good, and so are you. Actually, you're probably better than her. But that's some OTHER issue to think about ; )
- LiorK, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0Why spam? we're as far from spam as it can be.
It's a shame that a really wonderful service, for helping people make their wishes come true, no less, is suspected by you as spam. Can't the wonderful be real? the good be genuine? We are.
