- BREZZZ, on 07/03/2009, -4/+96Everybody in the media hated the man before he died. He was "Wacko Jacko", and he could not get a break. They declared him a child molester before the trial started, they could not stop with the ugly pics and everything else. Now they can't stop "mourning" his death.
- cyborgcommando0, on 07/03/2009, -8/+60Every time I see one of these advertisement submissions it makes me laugh because they do not know the joy that is adblock.
- falco217, on 07/03/2009, -1/+39That's because that's want the public wants to hear.
- Gustomucho, on 07/03/2009, -1/+38Sadly both of you are right.
- DawgMan93, on 07/03/2009, -2/+31Yo dawg I heard you like Michael Jackson coverage...
- inactive, on 07/03/2009, -1/+24He dieded to death.
- SirReally, on 07/03/2009, -1/+18Without a red circle and an arrow, I don't have a ***** clue what this is about.
- xsecretfiles, on 07/03/2009, -1/+14What happen to Michael Jackson?
- piieerrrree, on 07/03/2009, -2/+14Don't you know? He's being sued for molesting two kids!
- Wilddigi, on 07/03/2009, -3/+13Innocent my ass. What normal person sleeps in the same bed with stranger's children (sex or not) and dangles a baby over a balcony. Wanting to buy elephant man bones, etc. He was great as a kid and young adult, but that's where it ends. Plus the million drugs he took and hiding like a hermit. Why didn't he just donate money to these children to have fun at disneyland or some amusement park instead of his home. Built some hotel
Geesh, great music, great performer, but ***** up person in the end - skissors, on 07/03/2009, -1/+11Buried for how the ***** did this get to the front page.
- kelalo, on 07/03/2009, -1/+8I think he was innocent, but I also think he made some damn stupid decisions and I think the end result was a combination of him being a kind of man-child as well as a person who was sensitive and eccentric and as a result hopelessly vulnerable to a whole variety of attacks. Was he malicious? No. Was he a pedophile? No. Did he just not get some of the dos and don'ts for someone of his stature in this culture? Maybe. I think he had a ***** up childhood and he had a ***** up circle of vultures and that created the perfect target for the rabid tabloid "journalism" rampant during the nineties.
- kelalo, on 07/03/2009, -1/+8Now it's all about his musical legacy and his amazing ability as an entertainer, and how badly he was treated by the media, etc. etc. Such hypocrisy. Where was the love for his talent and his impact on pop and music culture when he was acquitted on 2005 and not even charged in 93? It's sensationalist crap and just because MJ wasn't a typical celebrity back in the eighties -- and because he was an oddball -- he became an easy target. I'm not saying that MJ is totally free of responsibility (he did have drug problems), but I am saying that it's the Martin Bashirs of the world that brought him down. It's so sad.
Of course, it's the public appetite that enables the media in the first place. - inactive, on 07/03/2009, -1/+8"In a Pew Research Center poll published Wednesday..."
PEW PEW PEW! - themastersb, on 07/03/2009, -1/+7Whenever I see an advertisement the odd time I freak out because I don't know what it is.
- PlusTheBear, on 07/02/2009, -1/+63 - ~ 3.5 = Crazy Fans
- Ceaser57, on 07/04/2009, -0/+5Not everyone gets the same ads; A large portion of us use adblock plus
- Shadic, on 07/04/2009, -0/+5I wish less people would believe ***** conspiracy theories.
- volcovis, on 07/03/2009, -1/+6Too true, dude, too true.
Think Jon Lajoie says it best... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVACUjHn6yU - steelersfan7roe, on 07/03/2009, -1/+5Too much Michael Jackson coverage.... But I'm not gonna change the channel!
People need to learn to vote with their remote. Turn off the TV and turn on the internet. - cambob76, on 07/03/2009, -0/+4There's always a sad joke involved when the media does a story about the media. Hypocrites.

- PlusTheBear, on 07/04/2009, -0/+3Your mom will be views.
- Maynym, on 07/03/2009, -1/+3All I know about MJ is that he was a pedophile. I also think he made music but not sure, one about Billy's Jeans. Was Billy one of his children lovers? I'm sorry people, forgive me, I'm from a third world country after all.
- TheKitchenSinkX, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2I'm in the 3 percent.
There should be a channel devoted to this stuff, for eternity. It remains entertaining when there's nothing else on. - DivisibleByZero, on 07/03/2009, -1/+3The only thing better than excessively covering a trivial subject, is excessively covering the excessive coverage of that trivial subject.
- mywhitenoise, on 07/03/2009, -1/+3Because A LOT of stupid ***** makes it to the front page.
- TheKitchenSinkX, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2This comment is a fine example of "hey guise I recognize your reference look at how smrt I am"
- thelab101, on 07/03/2009, -1/+3hahahaha. i saw the same thing on CNN. A story about the media doing too much Jackson coverage. Well christ, that's like the ouroboros ain't it?
- AxYoung, on 07/05/2009, -0/+2Sarcasm.
- piieerrrree, on 07/03/2009, -1/+3WHOOOOOOSH!
Also, he was sued on those grounds. That is fact. He was never convicted for it, which I never implied he was. - Cannabix, on 07/03/2009, -1/+3Time to go back to news stories about the other MJ.
- notninja, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2um No *****?
- Ultra200, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2Much too much
- Danby123, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2Ya I know. My theory is that no one dies, the Illuminati just capture them when the figure out... THE TRUTH.
/s - Gabberwok, on 07/04/2009, -0/+2I've actually resorted to watching Fox News since CNN is nothing but Michael Jackson and MSNBC is nothing but Michael Jackson and prisoner reality TV shows. Fox News and the Daily Show/Colbert Report are the only places to get a glimpse of non-Michael Jackson news....
- inactive, on 07/03/2009, -1/+2It takes technology to REALLY talk out of both sides of your mouth.
- JimmyRyan, on 07/03/2009, -3/+4Is it just me or has the whole "wake up people" thing been used by so many crazy people that it almost guarantees the person saying it is?
You Google it and it almost proves the theory with some of the blogs that come up.
http://www.google.com/search?q=%22wake+up+people%2 ... - antdude, on 07/06/2009, -0/+1Oooh, wasn't paying attention to the ads. My bad! :(
- Capand, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1the media is FAR too self aware
- ButchTheVizsla, on 07/03/2009, -3/+4buried for MJ
- bbhill, on 07/03/2009, -1/+2so who here thinks he was innocent? I myself can't really decide. . .
- armbar, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1You should try doing something other than watching TV.
- kspanks04, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1Is it still an issue? I personally never really cared because its performance was worth letting google have "non-exclusive license to use" my internet creations..whatever that really means.
- agentzero141970, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1I got tired of the coverage the first day.
- defendliberty, on 07/03/2009, -9/+101500 page Cap and trade bill passes the house unread. almost zero coverage. MJ dies. OMFG!!! MJ!! MJ!!
Wake the hell up people. - j0hn33y, on 07/03/2009, -1/+2Jacksons on the 5's
- TheKitchenSinkX, on 07/04/2009, -0/+1Watching TV is about 1% of my day. Unless the Twilight Zone marathon is on, which it is right now, in which case it's about 50%.
- spielmitmir, on 07/05/2009, -0/+1Stop calling Michael Jackson MJ. MJ for as long as I can remember has always been Michael Jordan.
