- griz, on 06/30/2008, -2/+28Is it just me or does that hand look like a lobster claw?
- Takfam, on 06/30/2008, -0/+19This is probably an indicator that I didn't get enough sleep last night, but I lol'd at the few confused troopers looking the wrong direction. Was that supposed to be an artistic statement about being different in a sea of sameness or was it just for the hell of it?
- barcelona10, on 06/30/2008, -0/+19I love this- storm troopers are pretty sweet!
- yokozuka, on 06/30/2008, -0/+18Too bad they are not classic Stormtroopers. But still, I want them badly.
- hammelman, on 06/30/2008, -0/+13To all the nay sayers: It's very easy to ignore something if you're sick of seeing it. There's this amazing thing called a article title. If you don't want to see it, read the title and don't enter the article to put your lame remarks. Obviously there are people that are interested in LEGO, because if there weren't then they wouldn't make the front page all the time. These aren't your inter-tubes. They are ours.
End Rant. - slifty, on 06/30/2008, -2/+13Have you ever seen X-men? It's kind of like that but not as cool just yet.
- TreatsTheBear, on 06/30/2008, -1/+9There is no connection between vaccines and autism. This is a dangerous belief that is gaining more and more acceptance from new age/alternative medicine quacks, but has been widely and thoroughly debunked. Please do some research before endangering your children.
- PhoenixAvatar2, on 06/30/2008, -1/+9Because Lego are awesome.
- TreatsTheBear, on 06/30/2008, -1/+9DUN DUN DUN DUN DA DUN DUN DA DUN
- Coven, on 06/30/2008, -1/+8Watch Rain Man. Dustin Hoffman's character is autistic. To more specifically answer your question. Autism is heavily based in genetics.
- hermslice, on 06/30/2008, -0/+7zoidberg??
- cresswga, on 06/30/2008, -0/+6I totally had this pegged as an Onion article from the title in my Google feed.
That's an awesome photo though - matthewjhughes, on 06/30/2008, -1/+6Can someone explain Autism please? Is it genetic or hereditary? And can it be cured?
- matt9502, on 06/30/2008, -1/+6Does anyone else want to reach through the screen and fix the 2 or 3 storm troopers that are looking backwards? Or am I just too OCD for my own good?
- hammelman, on 06/30/2008, -1/+6Silly people. My cousin got to suffer through her childhood covered with Egzyma because her parents didnt take very easy steps to help her body beat it. There's a reason there are vaccines, they save more lives than they destroy. If you dont like the schools that are free, take your children out of them and move into some compound in Montana.
- sodabeast, on 06/30/2008, -0/+4Added to my "To Do:" list
- NYCPALADIN, on 06/30/2008, -0/+4Definitely a great thing to do. Dugg
- inactive, on 06/30/2008, -0/+4Get Them....I WILL!!!! Nice post...
- BingoPower, on 06/30/2008, -0/+4Nice to see people raising awareness of Autism. I particularly like their method also. Given my son is autistic, he is big on repetition, and the thousands of storm troopers placed in circles is quite analogous to his personality. Now if I can only get him in to a casino...
- JasonCox, on 06/30/2008, -0/+4Zoidberg?! Stop eating my Legos!
- inactive, on 06/30/2008, -0/+4WOW, Sweet!!!
- inactive, on 06/30/2008, -0/+4They are so sweet I can eat them with my corn flakes.
- deanosaur, on 06/30/2008, -1/+5What's wrong with having a narrow depth of field for artistic effect here? And at least the points that are centered in focus make sense...
nazi indeed. - BevansDesign, on 06/30/2008, -0/+3J, you have your facts 100% wrong. I don't have the time to write a response every time somebody who's ignorant of the facts gets something wrong, so I'm just going to post a link and hope that real information somehow makes it into your brain.
Good place to start:
http://skeptoid.com/episodes/4055 - smalljue, on 06/30/2008, -0/+3Man, I always wonder how much an army like this would cost... Those clonetroopers pwnd my 22 stormtroopers at home. :/
- evilesttoast, on 06/30/2008, -2/+5Lego(s?) are a geeks best friend
- toecutter169, on 06/30/2008, -0/+3I wasn't that into Episodes 1-3, but I like clone troopers a bit more now :)
This reminds me I really want to go to Legoland! - JasonCox, on 06/30/2008, -0/+3I don't think my ego could handle having an army of Lego Clone Troopers... Hell, I know my friends wouldn't be able to handle it.
- Hartley1942, on 07/01/2008, -0/+3More pictures! That would make this more awesome.
- Kenzan, on 06/30/2008, -1/+4"These aren't the droids we're looking for......yeah...definitely not the droids...yeah...definitely.
Yeah..12 parsecs....yeah...definitely 12 parsecs....". - SkippyDoorknob, on 06/30/2008, -1/+4Yes, no, maybe.
- NuclearFalcon, on 06/30/2008, -1/+4I don't get how building an army like this raises funds, can someone explain it? I read the article and it didn't really explain it.
- irfanmp, on 06/30/2008, -1/+3I hope you don't though. Unless choking is your thing.
- venomoushealer, on 06/30/2008, -0/+2because
LEGO > badnewshotel - exomni, on 06/30/2008, -5/+7Whoever took those pictures is a dumbass. Stop-down your aperture, you idiot. You need a deep depth of field for a picture like that, so all the individual heads are in focus.
- Coven, on 06/30/2008, -2/+4/photography nazi
- Spartanious, on 06/30/2008, -0/+2So what are they supposed to fight with?
- NJank, on 06/30/2008, -1/+3from kmart?
- Coven, on 06/30/2008, -0/+2Do you not understand how tags work? /photography nazi means "end photography nazi". That means its over dude. Chill out. So the guy doesn't know how to use a fisheye lens. Its not the end of the world...Ya gotta relax man.
- TechnologyFreak, on 06/30/2008, -0/+2This is great while i only have mild high functioning autism it a great way to spread awareness of autism
- exomni, on 06/30/2008, -0/+1Well, there's one of two things going on here:
1. gizmondo has no paid photographer on staff. In which case: wtf? You're a huge internet website, you can afford a photographer.
2. gizmondo does have a paid photographer. In which case: how the hell are you getting paid for ***** photographs like that? - inactive, on 06/30/2008, -0/+1At least we get hugs
- revjustin2, on 06/30/2008, -1/+2I am wearing underwear.
- xodex, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1Where did I imply that the article wasn't good?
Tip? Tip for what? Digg? Am I trying to score points or something. No I don't think so, Keep your tips to yourself. - lecturethis, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1I wish they have used a better camera, and yes more photos please. i know whats gonna be my desktop bg for the nex month
- PdxPhoenix, on 06/30/2008, -0/+1Because you didn't submit an article of your own to take it's place, perhaps?
- revjustin2, on 07/02/2008, -0/+1@xodex - my point was this - who cares about the hand? If you're going to make inane comments at least try and add a little something to the conversation.
If you're not trying to "score points", what are you trying to say with comments such as yours? - passedoutghost, on 07/01/2008, -0/+0DA DA DA DA DA DADA DADA DADA DADA DADA DA DA DUN
I wish I could show the high notes and the low notes : ( - Latigoliath, on 06/30/2008, -0/+0This is more about autism.
- bigredgpk, on 06/30/2008, -1/+1umm... no.
