- krabat, on 11/16/2007, -0/+37If you can get sharks with laser beams attached to their heads to cut the pizza, THEN we might be getting somewhere.
- akiramedia, on 11/16/2007, -3/+25If they wanted to get this on the front page, they should have cut the pizza into a digg logo
...amateurs - srgtTarantula, on 11/16/2007, -1/+21uhhh... laser cancer, duh.
- inactive, on 11/16/2007, -0/+18why would a beam of light cause cancer?
- torrzilla, on 11/16/2007, -4/+18All they need is a phase conjugate tracking system, and a large spinning mirror and they could slice pizza from space.
- naturemade, on 11/16/2007, -0/+13Can't bash on these guys. If I had access to a high powered laser I'm sure I would be doing all kinds of pointless ***** and filming it.
- scrimaxinc, on 11/16/2007, -1/+13Stop touching yourself, Kent.
- scrimaxinc, on 11/16/2007, -1/+12YEA they couldn't have made that video any worse. The laser was cool....the idea was cool...but they ruined it by filming the stupid guide track for a couple minutes while the office hussy kept telling them to "pick up a piece". Simple editing people.
- BoneheadFarker, on 11/16/2007, -1/+11Not as cool as it sounds??? Speak for yourself. Lasers are ALWAYS cool...until you turn them on anyways...
- howdareyou, on 11/16/2007, -0/+10*****. Two of the best things ever invented.
- jakeblat, on 11/16/2007, -1/+11Direct Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ej3KSfVU5aw
- saralovemuffins, on 11/16/2007, -0/+9I wish they would show how well the laser cut the slices. You can kind of tell at the end that it didn't cut that well.
- dorianh49, on 11/16/2007, -0/+9Jesus?
- nsummy, on 11/16/2007, -0/+8Kind of reminds me of that Honda commercial where the guy cuts the Thanksgiving turkey with a laser knife.

- doskir, on 11/16/2007, -1/+8its not the laser that causes the cancer but rather the heat it produces while cutting the pizza since cheese and starch produce carcinogens when heated excessively
- ncapone, on 11/16/2007, -0/+6Just like the lady said at the very end, "That's horrible!"
- Nick2632, on 11/16/2007, -0/+6*frickin laser beams
- BoneheadFarker, on 11/16/2007, -0/+6It's not about the speed of the cutting. It's that they used a laser to cut the pizza. What frivilous use of a high-power laser would you try?
Oh, but you are right. The pizza looked a little nasty. - acoldone, on 11/16/2007, -0/+6Maybe the laser was so hot the cheese of the pizza stuck back together?
- Ramble, on 11/16/2007, -0/+6Needs moar power!
- Bologner, on 11/16/2007, -1/+6After working in a Pizza place for a year, I gotta say that
A.) That pizza looks disgusting
B.) The Lazer sucks ass at cutting. Anyone on Digg could probably have cut 5 pizzas before that damn thing got done. - DemonWasp, on 11/16/2007, -0/+5I don't think you know what "ironic" means, because that's not even close to its meaning.
- ObeseSnake, on 11/16/2007, -0/+4Why are you digging this guy down? It's a freaking beam of light! All you dumb asses must stay away from the microwave as well as I'm sure you're afraid of the "radiation"
- samdu, on 11/16/2007, -0/+4What are they teaching you kids about lasers?
- Lehawk, on 11/16/2007, -0/+4Slow cutting? Yep.
Noxious gases? Yep.
Edges of pizza pieces burnt to a crisp and then incinerated? Yep.
Inedible pizza? Yep.
Would I eat it? Yeah, but only after scraping off burnt edge of ash and dust. - heynoop, on 11/16/2007, -0/+3im really confused, why did the laser do such a ***** job? it looks like it hardly cut the pizza at all. i mean aren't lasers used to cut through metal and *****?
- mal1964, on 11/16/2007, -0/+3Pizza is old school, just the way everyone likes it.
- sparkysko, on 11/17/2007, -1/+4***** you. This is awesome
- CedEx, on 11/16/2007, -1/+4You mean a fancy way of saying, burnt food causes cancer? You don't need a laser for that, just a bad cook.
- Leathersoup, on 11/16/2007, -1/+4Not sure I'd wanna eat any of that...
- Prez, on 11/16/2007, -1/+4Dugg for ass-clowns!
- pandlcg, on 11/16/2007, -0/+3I was thinking this was going to be an Onion article from the title
- erad222, on 11/16/2007, -0/+3I don't get the assclowns part. Looks like just a couple of guys having a good time with a laser. The only thing wrong is that they wasted a pizza.
- tyywebb, on 11/16/2007, -0/+3C'mon a little carbon's not gonna kill you.
- Dorian822, on 11/16/2007, -0/+2I'm still waiting for the dehydrated pizza cooker we saw in Back to the Future II.
Just awesome. - passedoutghost, on 11/16/2007, -0/+2I think that's every evil doctor's dream.
- KingGorilla, on 11/16/2007, -1/+3in your lasers
- joker1972, on 11/17/2007, -0/+2Cuts pizza better then the idiots down at my local shop.
- Fasterthanthou, on 11/17/2007, -0/+2WOW. that's all i got to say. By the time it takes you to program the computer and start the device, you could have taken out the regular old cutter and have eaten your pizza. Besides, the high heat from the laser will have instantly boiled all the sauce, which btw smells nasty(anyone who has burned sauce should know).
TOTALLY USELESS! - nphase, on 11/16/2007, -0/+2Dugg for the line 'I wish pizza cutting with a laser sterilized everyone in the room'.
- Terr01, on 11/17/2007, -0/+2And you don't understand gamma rays if you think the ray itself contaminates things! Jeez. Sure, being shot with somecan seriously mess you up (like lasers), but it doesn't make "lingering radiation" unless you're shooting it at something that's already pretty close to deadly-to-eat.
- zomgflamer, on 11/16/2007, -0/+2Ya gotta agree with the dude's comment. No smokin hot chicks would be in a laser lab or let alone be near a pizza. Unless by laser lab meaning the ones for removing their boyfriend's name off of their ass, then i see them having a case.
- gak001, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1What the hell happened to Val Kilmer?
- Nowheredan, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1We might have fut it faster, but not as straight!
- Otto, on 11/16/2007, -1/+2Why would it not be safe? It's just burnt on the edges.
- edwartica, on 11/16/2007, -1/+2My work's internet filter won't let me see it. It claims this "is either an adult or hate" site, both of which are "extremely prohibited."
- sunshinex, on 11/16/2007, -4/+5Looks like the laser cut their internets, sites down.
- mountaincable, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1Maybe the poster knows something we don't? Doesn't look at all like they are assclowns or that they broke in.
- akiramedia, on 11/16/2007, -0/+1Someone will do the digg logo out of a pizza... I can feel it coming and I'll be it won't take 20+ hours to make it to the front page.

What is Digg?
