- JDLamb88, on 11/03/2009, -0/+18They better make sure he wasn't really a zombie.
- nmanguy, on 11/03/2009, -2/+19Wow, it's like people just wave the gay card to weasel out of anything nowadays. Making fun of the guy wasn't right, but biting someone's face and giving them HIV does NOT help your case.
- erdamus, on 11/03/2009, -1/+12Very harrowing story. This is a completely inappropriate moment for a bash.org quote.

<Anonymous> Now, I’m sure many of you have encountered little ***** in supermarkets. Little kids running about and knocking things over, being rude, walking all over their parents, you know the kind. But the worst are the biters. Yes, those little ***** that feel it is okay to bite you whenever they feel like it.
<Anonymous> Okay, here’s the best part. A biter got me today when I was grocery stopping. He broke the ***** skin, too. This was when the gears started turning, the moment I saw a tiny sprickle of blood on the little *****’s teeth as he was grinning at me like the little ***** he is. I made my eyes get wide, and started screaming “*****! *****!.” Now, my good friend, Tom we’ll call him, was there too, and he instantly picked up on it. He started shouting “*****! MAYBE HE DIDN’T GET IT! *****!.” By now, the kid is scared ***** and starts crying, and instantly, Mizz Mom appears out of nowhere and starts getting pissy at us for yelling at her kid.
<Anonymous> Here’s the kicker, I look her straight in the eye and say, “Mam, get your son tested as soon as possible, he just bit me and I’m… I’m ***** HIV POSITIVE.”
<Anonymous> And now there is silence. Not a peep in the entire store. The brat knows he just ***** up big time because his mom isn’t defending his ass. She just stares at me wide eyed. I walk away from them, buy my ***** from the wide eyed cashier, all the while blood is dripping from my calf, making a nice little trail on the floor. And, just as we leave, we start to hear the mother sobbing. Sobbing like the ***** she is.
<Anonymous> I have never felt any more satisfaction than the moment I heard that sob. - BalzacOG, on 11/03/2009, -3/+1015 years would serve him right. He was probably trying to kill the guy. It's a bad enough crime without the HIV.
- Iceman21, on 11/03/2009, -2/+7http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HIV#Transmission
HIV has been found at low concentrations in the saliva, tears and urine of infected individuals, but there are no recorded cases of infection by these secretions and the potential risk of transmission is negligible.
Negligible as it may be the virus is ***** lethal, a small chance is still a chance. - Canadian007, on 11/03/2009, -3/+8@netdroid9 RTFA & then WTFV
The guy who got bit, Fernandis, is a cosmologist who deals with gays everyday. If he had a problem with gays, he'd pick a different career. I doubt it's a hate crime. Daniel's just a nutjob pulling out the gay-hate-card. - Rivetgeek, on 11/03/2009, -3/+7i don't care if he burned a cross on his lawn and called him a raging *****. Exposing someone to a fatal disease is NEVER excusable.
- hammer310, on 11/03/2009, -0/+4WHAT THE *****?
- Ouze, on 11/03/2009, -1/+415 years seems inadequate for what's really attempted murder.
- Iceman21, on 11/03/2009, -0/+3Attempted murder.
- DangQuesadilla, on 11/03/2009, -2/+5Holy ***** ***** I cannot believe someone would intentionally give HIV to another human being, yet here that is obviously the case. I think the judge's verdict should be suspended until the test results come back, and if the victim has contracted HIV, then that biting bastard should be tried for murder.
- Amadeus2490, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2The legal system doesn't go by whether or not it actually transmits, they go by the INTENT; If a person intended to infect someone, or knew they could, they they go to prison for a long, long time.
- Flashtone, on 11/03/2009, -2/+4At first glance I thought the thumbnail was Stanley.
- Iceman21, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2This surprises you?
Get out from under that rock, people suck, they suck hard. - BlaggleBlog, on 11/03/2009, -0/+2Why would astronomy be a profession that attracts more homosexuals? I can understand maybe with cosmetology...
- Iceman21, on 11/03/2009, -3/+5Women and men sleep with others when they have hiv and they know it, the only way to stop this ***** is branding.
- hammer310, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1No it's cool I just wanted to grab my footba BRAAIIIIIIIIINSSSSSSS
- PakoBedejo, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1Could take that 5 away from them? :P
- Rivetgeek, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1rare yes, impossible? No. If someone you KNEW had HIV bit you, i bet you'd be on anti retrovirals asap though
- inactive, on 11/03/2009, -7/+8RTFA, Daniel says he was being abused by his neighbor because he was gay. It certainly doesn't justify what he did, but there's a big difference between someone being constantly abused for something they have no control over until they finally crack, and someone going nuts because some poor guy accidentally tossed a football in his yard.
I don't know if he's telling the truth or not, but either way, there's more to this than some random assault. - username1221, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1yeah, really cant believe someone would intentionally give someone else HIV. cause people always have respect for human life. always.
- Barackalypse, on 11/03/2009, -5/+6We put down animals that bite people, I don't see any reason not to do the same to people that bite people.
- Rivetgeek, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1No time to make sure. shoot the survivor before he changes!
- Dojjah, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1Is he going to live 15 years...?
- Smashery, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1Generally, you can only be tried for murder if you kill someone.
- BigVi, on 11/03/2009, -1/+2Isnt attacking someone with a biological weapon worth more than 15 years? Granted it all depends on the basis for the fight. If he was defending himself then its a different story.
- carolinax, on 11/03/2009, -0/+1I'd shake that man's hand.
- nmanguy, on 11/04/2009, -0/+1You know, they should give him a life sentence in prison (so like 9 years). He'll get to be openly gay, and then the AIDSTORM that sweeps over the prison system will end up saving the state millions.
- weebit, on 11/04/2009, -0/+1He should get life in prison.
- inactive, on 11/03/2009, -2/+2they all look alike to you, eh?
- bluebirdfeather, on 11/03/2009, -1/+1Kind of hard to adequately punish someone to whom anything over 5 is a life sentence...
- spoon088, on 11/03/2009, -2/+1Dumbest case ever.
- MarkyBear, on 11/03/2009, -2/+1Murder?? We don't even know if the victim got HIV.
- ryrocker, on 11/03/2009, -10/+8IMMA GIVE YOU DA AIDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- BasalCellBossk, on 11/03/2009, -5/+2You are a ***** sociopath.
- Tevatron, on 11/03/2009, -5/+0Wait.... can you actually transfer AIDS through bites? Saliva doesn't transmit HIV.
I guess.. maybe if his mouth was bleeding as well? Even then, the CDC says it's incredibly rare
