- passedoutghost, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2You may think that the Batchelor of Brassiere Science is good....but 10 years down the track you'll dragged along bra shopping by your wife when you could be at home watching the game/at a bar drinking beer.
- str3ama, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2You kidding me I'd love to say I have a Bachelor of Brassiere Science or I'm part of the Order of Octopus..lol that sounds a lot better then bachelor of arts/science.
- RDHerm, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Where the heck is the writer from? "Sitting a test" is an expression I have never heard before.

"When octopuses reproduce, males use a specialized arm called a hectocotylus to insert spermatophores (packets of sperm) into the female's mantle cavity."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Octopus - Kinkistyle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I actually TOOK the octopus expert test.... and FAILED. I'm a chef and I thought it would be all cool to hang the certification on my wall since I work with the ingredient fairly often. The certification was created in order to bring tourism and more attention to the Akaishi area of Osaka which is famous for its octopus harvest. I thought it would be some dopey True or False quiz with like 20 questions.
The test was hard as HELL. Man, they treated it like the freaking SAT's or something. We had to go to some University campus and had seating assignments, had seating assignments and cheating policies. It was well over one hundred questions dealing with everything from the mating patterns and trawling methods of various breeds of Octopi, to the name of the stupid local octopus mascot. I mean WTF? Instead if making me want to learn more about Akaishi City and come visit the area (which by the way is a dump and has nothing going for it aside from the octopus and the takoyaki balls), it made me loathe and hate the place for being such no-fun hard-asses. - ShorXrorE, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1i'm sure every country has dumb degrees.
- retzed, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0why not

- Japan1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Some cool pictures of Japan here: http://www.hdrjapan.com
- j1337, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2I live in Japan, so I submit news about my country of residence. Digg likes strange and interesting news, so that's what I submit. Why does Japan have to be singled out as a country that shouldn't have its interesting cultural oddities shared with everyone?
[We have Mormons too. Not many, but all those crazy missionaries America sends here are quite visible in their short sleeve dress shirts and ties. MORMONS.] - vintagegeek, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0So, 'taking a test' makes more sense? Where are you taking it to? And do they want it there?
('sitting for a test' is a more european and latin american expression for 'taking a test') - jimmick, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I'd be more interested in 10 qualifications the average American doesn't have
- crichton101, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Yeah but they're so nice, they're like Canadians, but not.
