It was just lunch with a girl I like, but it meant a lot and I can't remember ever being happier. I think I had a grin on my face that whole day, it was amazing even though all we did was talk.

    I'm guessing the explanation could be down to the previous 30 days being part of the "peak month for relationships break up." I'm also guessing February will be the peak month for January 31 daters to realize they screwed their way into a rebound relationship on January 31st.

    Personally, I go with Taken, it's probably on in your area.... do it sometime before Feb 14th.
    Don't be nervous; just confident. Get it done/ have fun. When it's over, make a subtle move, arm around her or something as you're walking out.. If she shuts it down, cut your loses and save your money on V-Day. If she doesn't push you away, make a bigger move closer to V-Day, cook her dinner that night or something. It worked for me when I was 17, except she cooked.

    No regrets. Don't be scared or put it on a pedestal. It's not like you want to marry her, just want to have fun/get to know her better. Go with the flow.
