- halleyscomet, on 10/11/2007, -0/+20Mark Twain disagreed. For him it was Whiskey.
Same goes for Hemingway and Fitzgerald.
But then, just about all the Irish poets were fueled by Irish Beer. - sockpuppets, on 10/11/2007, -0/+17Too much beer, however, is the key to remarkable blarghing.
- JD52, on 10/11/2007, -3/+12Beer... Like Guinness... Not water.... Like Bud....

Say what you like about the quality of Corona, I personally don't care too much for it either. However, Mexican beers (like corona) are generally higher in alcohol than stouts and especially brown ales, like the Newcastle and Guinness that you mentioned. So using Corona to "sober you up" really doesn't make much sense...not that anybody really gave you much credibility in the first place. - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -6/+12Corona is beer? I thought it was beer flavored water, like Smart water only not so smart. True story, I chase hard liquor with Coronas to sober me up at the end of a night of partying/clubbing.
Newcastle and Guinness on the other hand.. - PanamaMoney, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7brrrpppp, Sam Adams.
- Scyth3, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5Beer is the key to everything. I can play the Wii better drinking, and most things you probably shouldn't play while drinking (lawn darts anyone?).
Therefore using that logic, beer + blogging = glorious. - msaleem, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7Haha, I totally know. Wine not beer though...
- aflusche, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7That's a great article, and killer headline. Nice!

- theOster, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3but guinness is a *mans* beer (rolls eyes)
- bigtizzle, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5Why can't beer snobs just shut the ***** up? Do you think it makes it more manly to say that because I like Pacifico I'm somehow less than you? You're nothing but a wine snob with a bigger, fatter gut. Deal with it.
- coredump0x01, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Will digg for beer.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Ahh i will take a beer, *enjoys miller lite* the beer choice of many fun nights.

Great post, Brian. I find beer helps in reading blogs as well. - dailyshowboy23, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I didn't need this article to prove to me that this is a fact. Although at least now I have something tangible to use as evidence that my blogging really does get better as my blood alcohol level rises.
- nuclearwasted, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Marijuana is my favorite kind of beer.
- optigon, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I certainly didn't expect to see Anderson, IN being related to the Miller Brewing Company... Who knew?
- cflick, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1That was very entertaining and educational at the same time, I always thought beer was the key to remarkable blogging :-)
- emjaymj, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Buried as inaccurate because the article talks about fizz water instead of beer.
- chaesar, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Yuengling is the only good thing about living in Pennsylvania.

So, you enjoy fornication in a canoe? - RedForemanTM, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0I got dugg down for saying I like Yuengling? OK... apple pie sucks... cheesecake rules... I saw mommy kissing Santa Claus... dogs bite 10 million people in America every year (man's best friend?)... blue whales have 6 foot penises (yes - I measured it)... the grasshopper mouse is a predator that can kill a scorpion and Eat it. 5000 years ago the Egyptians had 500 different kinds of beer... they found an urn in china that was 10,000 years old that contained beer residue.
I like Yuengling - greaterchina95, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0As a marketeer, this is a great

- f4nt0m4s, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2beer is what real men drink
it can be as complex as wine, and as heavy as some hard liquors
and with many microbreweries making beers with 10-20% abv...mmm
"lite" is what you drink at college parties to get drunk, that's not beer, it's fizzy water with alcohol in it
and corona is *****, anything that needs an added lime in it to be enjoyed is *****...you put limes in water, not beer - StingingNettle, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1"Some of you may be disappointed that the secret to remarkable blogging is not drinking beer while blogging."
