1) Hawaii, like Guam, is an island too and the boys made it there.
2) Guam, like Puerto Rico, isn't a state and therefore does not count for their challenge.
However, Scotty and Fiddy have hit a few non-state capitals ( British Columbia, D.C., Mexico etc) so they could keep on doing a tour of all the U.S. protectorates. We're possessions, and that's just not the same thing. Puerto Rico is war loot from the spanish american war, and as such we're a possession of the federal government to be administered at the will of Congress.
We (Puerto Rico) are not a state, Congress doesn't want to walk into that land mine.

- leontes, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6What would really be impressive if they did it without telling people what they are doing. Hitchhiking is a lot easier with a reason i.e., "We are doing it to do all fifty in fifty days."
What would truly be impressive if they would only let themselves specify each individual destination themselves. "we have to get to Hawaii, 'cause we want to go to Hawaii."
