Anyone who thinks this was a hoax must first believe these light-up adverts were made to resemble a bomb. How you could come to this conclusion is beyond me, especially with electronic devices of all sorts being so pervasive in society. Also, how often have bombs been made that attract attention to the fact that they are bombs? Could you please explain to me how putting a LED panel with a cartoon character in a public place is a prank?, They had no intention to make it look like a bomb, there was no intention to deceive.

When was this ever a prank? when did they ever try to make these appear as an explosive device? It was an advertising campaign that the media took wrong. The only thing they should apologize for is the stupidity of the city.
