- axisofphilippe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+49The content to spam ratio on this site is incredible. At first I thought the page just loaded a bunch of ads. It took 2 visits for me to realize the pictures were indeed there.
- oiooioio, on 10/12/2007, -1/+41hey would the pics be any smaller??? - oh
- toomatoo, on 10/10/2007, -4/+31so the poor dog is stuck there exposed, couple of feet from the road, at the perfect height to inhale all the exhaust fumes and rubber soot from the road - and they thought this a good idea.
- Neuralphreak, on 10/10/2007, -6/+32That should be illegal. Period.
- MattnJax, on 10/10/2007, -0/+21Poor dog. Hopefully the guy takes good care of him though. Maybe there's a reason he can't ride up front in the cabin.
- jd33, on 10/10/2007, -1/+18Dugg for Incomparable. Buried for being retarded and small.
- Galaeron, on 10/10/2007, -3/+17Where is PETA when you need them for something thats right.
- davewashere, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12I used to have a pretty nice house, but then my ex-wife got it after our divorce. Now that's the best dog house ever.
- MattnJax, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12I think you're confusing them with your mother.
- BenevolentD, on 02/19/2009, -1/+11I think you need a little perspective because this is nothing like that. Have you ever had your window rolled down and driven past a big tanker like that the noise is so bad i bet you roll up your window. Now, just think what it would do to a dog. If listening to an ipod to loud will cause permanent hearing damage to a human just imagine what a tanker going 40 mph would do to a dog that has 100x better hearing than you do. Not to mention carbon monoxide, brake dust, and road debris.
- fcukbush, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11That's the dog he was talking about.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8My employer doesn't let our drivers bring their pets on the road for insurance issues. We started this when a dog apparently jumped on a driver and the truck ended up in an accident. The rule specifically states that pets cannot be in the tractor or sleeper. I guess this guy needs to bring his dog on the road but probably has similar rules with the company he works/contracts for.
- darkened, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8I think you're and idiot and the dog loves it, if it didn't enjoy having his head hanging out the window of his house he'd be laying down inside it.
- jonnyeuchre, on 10/10/2007, -3/+9Safer than putting him in the back of your pickup truck.
- SilentJay74, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8National Lampoons Vacation comes to mind for some reason.
- rizhun, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7That's not a dog... It's a hitch-hiker in disguise!
- harrykunt, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8Isn't that how Mitt Romney takes the family dog on trips ?
- phaseblue, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Seconded.
- faizal5k, on 10/10/2007, -6/+10I wanna see the trucker's face when he gets to the next stop, only to realize that his dog is gone :(
- alexforcefive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Heh, I thought you were talking about digg. And I was about to agree!
- disco247, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Not very safe since i have seen too many tires shred to pieces. The driver needs to buck up and put him in the sleeper cab or the other front seat.
- Avor, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4It should be required by law for the transport of animals. The coolest thing I have ever seen and I am sad that I cannot ride like that =)
- Satanael, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I thought most semi trucks had an area behind the driver and passenger seat with like a mattress or some ***** to sleep on. How is this a remotely better idea than letting the dog stay back there?
- TimFrost, on 10/10/2007, -5/+7So this is how the Mexicans are gettin' in now...

http://72.14.209.104/search?q=cache:http%3A//eyje. ... - DaTaylorM, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I don't think the wind noise from riding in the bed of a pickup truck would be damaging to a dog or a human in any way. Its no were near as bad as riding a motorcycle and that doesn't cause any damage. Our (and dogs) ears are designed in such a way that the air flows over our auditory canals. The full sound pressure is never in contact with our ear drums.
- Frostman3D, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2The dog probably stinks and the guy doesn't want him up front with him.
- PerfektXj, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Creative
- saltshaker2323, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2it took me a long stare to figure out that the bottom two pictures were actually two pictures, i thought the dog house was just in the passenger seat of a car....not exactly "incomparable."
- majorian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Wierd!
- tonicboy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1That's fine when you're taking your dog down to the park, but how can a trucker restrain a dog in a harness for a 12 hour drive? That's even worse then strapping him under the truck like the photo.
- srodolff, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Not even close. Helmsley's dog has a mansion.
- shiftless, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I've seen ***** like that. It's absolutely disgusting.
- lacr, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1First off, that site was horrific to navigate on. I couldn't figure out which picture was which, then I thought it was one big picture, then I scrolled up and down....finally....what a small picture!
Anyhow, most trucks have beds. Some even have bathrooms as well. It depends. Most companies won't supply you with a real nice one, so many cross country truckers buy them with their own money. My boyfriend knows a guy who bought one himself...cost something like 10 grand. I guess he gets paid well and loves his job.
I am not going back to that godforsaken site, but I think it was a gas truck. I don't think those really travel cross country because I never see them with bedspace in the back. However, I have seen a Boars Head delivery truck with a German Shepard in the front seat. If that owner didn't want the dog in the front seat, then he shouldn't have a dog! Tires explode, and it's dangerous. Pebbles, glass, cigarettes, anything can hit that dog. Not to mention the wind isn't good for their ear canals. My pitbull lovesssss putting her face out the window, getting slobber all over my boyfriends '06 GTO, and then when he speeds she puts her head back in. Thing is, I can control my dogs wind exposure. - Nossie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1also old.... sorry but this pic is ancient I think :-|
- lex0nyc, on 01/01/2009, -0/+1Where's he going to put the other three then?
- travisb, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Here are some real dog houses, you know, if you have lots of money to throw around.
http://www.poshliving.com/catalog/Pets/Pet-Estates ... - ElectroBot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1The dog can still bark loud enough and surprise you and you could cause an accident.
I have a dog at home and I totally agree, though. Dogs shouldn't be in cars without harnesses and muzzles. Also, species which are instinctually agressive should always have a muzzle when outdoors. - manonfire285, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1622
- The_Wallbanger, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Incomparable is the new "amazing".
- noahw, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1You have a good point and from that perspective I wonder if the wind noise from riding in the back of a normal pick-up truck would cause hearing damage from the wind noise. I am curious.
- xXdredgXx, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1well where would he put the dead hooker he just killed? maybe the dog was humping the corpse before the driver had a chance too so he put the poor dog outside
- bjs3171, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4ok. terrible pictures. i can't even tell what's going on. the digg link doesn't even go straight to the pictures, and that's a horrid idea. whoever submitted this should be shot. and the term is "maybe the best dog house EVER." moron.
- moghua, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1What's so hard about mandating seat belts for them?
My own dog does NOT get into the car without a harness, and this is not really for protection of dog as much as it is protection for ME and my human passengers. If I were to stop suddenly the dog could come crashing forward and could easy hurt or kill someone in the front seat.
It is just common sense that if you have anything large in your vehicle, and especially if it can move itself, that it be restrained. For the life of me I don't understand why this is not law. - Neuralphreak, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3That's interesting that you think I'm an idiot... while I appreciate your opinion, I disagree. I think it's dangerous and irresponsible of the owner... furthermore, I whole heartedly think the animal would be much more comfortable in the cab of the truck, with the AC, and whether the animal knows it or not, be much safer riding. One minor auto accident is all it would take to end this animals life. A MINOR accident while in the cab, offers much more safety over all. The animal is not a toy, it's not a suitcase or luggage of any kind, it feels pain, it breaths air, it has emotion. You can think what you want, that's the beauty of this whole thing. It affords small minded people like i assume you to be, the opportunity to really show the other "diggers" just how stupid the planet's becoming... personally I find the very fact that you could excuse this sort of thing a tale tale sign of just how incompetent society's become.
- EmpyreanDreams, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1look like it would be cold in there
- jsully, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1How do you report spammers?
http://digg.com/users/kv311bliss - chaos7, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1that's the best? :-/
- Ellveva, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0http://www.createforum.com/phpbb/?mforum=genericv
- dodger06, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I would like to add my $.02 to this. First of all, that truck is way to small to have a bed in the back, by looking at the pictures it is clear it only has a seat. And as far as the "perfect height" for the exhaust gas, not quite so. The truck exhaust is actually above the top of the trailer, just like most other trucks. Not many have the exhaust underneath like a car. And as far as it being unsafe, it looks pretty sturdy to me. There is no way that the dog is getting out of that hole and falling out, and if it doesn't want to be in the wind it can put its head back in. As far as the debris part goes, he's got the doghouse to protect him, and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if there was a shield to prevent things from hitting the doghouse directly.
