- Godlesswanderer, on 07/06/2008, -4/+61Outside of English speaking countries, English is usually seen as quite a cool language. So it wouldn't be uncommon to see someone wearing something with English on it, even if they don't speak English themselves.
- nojingoist, on 07/06/2008, -0/+55Translation of above:
flip2trip: This is lame.
eigenweasel: Welcome to digg.com
asus2000: This looks fake to me. - transfuse, on 07/06/2008, -1/+52@houndeyex: Yes, they do. They love the English language.

- TheSwashbuckler, on 07/06/2008, -2/+22Many Russians learn English from an early age. I have several Russian friends who started learning English in 4th or 5th grade and had a class in English every year through graduation from high school.

- BlueLove775, on 07/06/2008, -0/+17no ***** sherlock.
- asus2000, on 07/06/2008, -5/+22You're both wrong. Switzerland and Germany do not hate the U.S., they despise the U.S. government and its foreign policy. The people and the language they like a lot. I only had the best experiences in both of those countries, and that goes for France too. Germany speaks English, the Swiss not so much. I've lived there, and traveled through 18 countries. All around the world it's popular to have a t-shirt with some English on it. It's just the popular thing to do. Check out Engrish.com, it's a hilarious site with poorly written English on Japanese t-shirts, which incidentally I took some of the pictures.
As for Walmart spill-over. The stuff produced for Europe is generally different than the stuff produced for the U.S. Just look on the tags, it's all in non-English. Go into any specialty store and they too have English written on their clothes, it's hard to find anything else sometimes.
Godlesswanderer had it right the first time. - teh_spazz, on 07/06/2008, -0/+16If anyone can do it, 4chan can.
- jordn, on 07/06/2008, -1/+17в Советской России, английский учит вас!
- Neurotropic, on 07/06/2008, -1/+17Why do you all assume he can't read english and is straight? Ive seen guys in the gay district wearing these. Probably why she's making the fist. I guess She's a fag hag
- werries, on 07/06/2008, -3/+18@Gutterpunk.
Absolutely wrong. Have you ever lived in another country?
I lived in both Switzerland and Germany, two countries who seem to hate the US, however, they're still excited to say a word or two in english. It IS the "cool language", even if they're mostly swearing. - passedoutghost, on 07/06/2008, -6/+21He didn't rape me, we had surprise sex.
- bitterbug, on 07/06/2008, -0/+14Carpet? I like bare floor, but not hardwood.
