this is hilarious - suxmonkey, on 10/10/2007, -12/+155Arguably you WILL get a lot more sex in the long run ... if you become a rich engineer first
- umdmatto, on 10/10/2007, -5/+109As an engineer I just need to point out that becoming an engineer and having sex are not mutually exclusive, so feel free to do both. Then again any person whose mind is changed by this sign is probably not smart enough to become an engineer. Also before all the comments start I’d like to point out that engineering students being willing to have sex and being able to have sex are still technically different.
- Zuggy, on 10/10/2007, -5/+106If you are geeky enough to want to be an engineer, waiting for sex is a non-issue
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -4/+84but it only lasts 1/10 th of a second.
- twitchyneko, on 10/10/2007, -0/+60Chemists do it periodically.
- thewindfish, on 10/10/2007, -1/+53Computer scientists do it...
Computer scientists don't do it. - 6ixed, on 10/10/2007, -13/+61I wrote this earlier, but can you believe the amount of stories/articles being submitted on Digg lately, which constitutes of just a picture? Sometimes 4 or 5 in "Top 10 in all Topics" are just picture submits. Maybe the Diggers are trying to tell something, or trying to get a point across.
If there were a 'Pictures' section, I for sure, would be checking that out on a regular basis, every time I am on Digg. I can't say the same thing about the Videos section though. Playing Flash based videos on older machines, like my Pentium 3 laptop, is a stress, because the fan goes into overdrive, and the processor barely ables to keep up. The laptop from my work, works pretty much smooth though, but I dont bring my work laptop, home all the time, and usually don't prefer to surf Digg or other sites on the office laptop, either if I at home or work.
But watching pics, never puts an undue stress on my old laptop processor (stating this very fact is kind of dumb anyways), and the mostly interesting, amazing and cool pics which are submitted to Digg on an everyday basis, makes it really worth clicking, and commenting on them. So, if there happen to exist a 'Pictures' section from tomorrow onwards, Digg can be thoroughly sure, that including me, a ton of other Diggers would be visiting that section.
Currently the Pictures submitted stories, though extremely entertaining, are clogging up the ranks of Upcoming stories in mostly all 'News' sections, and pushing the real news stories down the ranks....or the real News are getting suffocated by the [PICS]. Ok, I was probably dumb in explaining all that, but I hope some of you, understands what I am trying to say here.
But I will still say, that I really have no real gripes with the pictures hitting the news section, instead of its own section. Because this issue, pales in comparision with the comments problems. I wish Digg goes back two versions of its Comments style, when the comment pages used to load in a flash, irrespective of how many comments were there. :( - dallascorbin504, on 10/10/2007, -4/+44hey...i want to have sex...engineering can wait!
- lakush, on 10/10/2007, -4/+42motion for pictures section...
- 6ixed, on 10/10/2007, -2/+36It's actually right. I'm a software engineer now, and actually had to wait a long time for umm...before having it for the first time. :( In hindsight, that decision sucked.
- vault, on 10/10/2007, -2/+32Who do you think invented crack?
- ZigVicious, on 10/10/2007, -1/+27I like motion pictures.
- elstevo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+24economists do it with models

- tyler0is0sexy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+26Then sin on.
- Rosamilia, on 10/10/2007, -1/+25and Famous Amos with crack inside of it
- Pilot85, on 10/10/2007, -1/+24yeah, and pilots make smoother approaches.
- crushfan, on 10/10/2007, -2/+23I really don't know why there is such a certain consensus about engineers' sex life but as a person who has been majoring on Electronics for 2 years I need to say this:
Being an engineering student or an engineer doesn't turn your both penis and social life into a diode -- you can still make friends and if you don't smell like your mum's bedroom and at least can start a conversation about recent news, you can always have sex. Okay, maybe I don't have sex all the time but once I did. Yeah. 4 years ago...
*****. I wanna die. - apathysucks, on 10/10/2007, -3/+23I don't really want to be an engineer. I just wannabe a baby machine... so... bring on the fly honeys!
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21When I enrolled as an engineering student, the major degree program STRICTLY told me "NO SEX!" You must be lucky to go to your school... :(
- Nougat, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19What kind of creator makes a being which is innately and instinctively sexual, then insist that those beings repress that in order to pass muster? This smacks of cruelty and sadism.
If my creator didn't want me to be sexual, I would have been created without sexuality. - apollyon, on 10/10/2007, -2/+21On an impulse? Hmm, I assume you mean EEs do it on the rising clock edge. Because doing it on the falling clock edge would just be reverse logic... and thats just wrong.
- Sparkster185, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19If you had only decided to become a professional athlete instead...
- SamyIsMyHero, on 10/10/2007, -2/+20Do you need his lovin?
- FiP0, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19Where do you work ? oO
- Roger, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19Actually an impulse lasts 0 seconds.
- drafhk, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17But we already have a motion pictures section. =D
- Mothrog, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16Um, you might want to try somewhere other than Bob Jones University.
- Pake, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16The more resistance, the merrier.

- browwiw, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13Sorry to burst your bubble, but that two year degree from DeVry is just gonna get you 20k in debt and a minimum wage job in the back room of Best Buy.
- Corinthos, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14The white man invented crack to keep the black man down.
- teebird, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12But radio engineers do it with more frequency.
- diggless, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13why are they mutually exclusive?
is there something about being an engineer that prevents intercourse? - saintdesy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Hot chicks don't walk up to engineers and just offer to have sex with them. If you know some amazing place where this happens though, please please tell us.
- KidKenosha, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Software engineers do it with objects.
- bharbhar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10please. engineers get more ass than a toilet seat. we have money, thus we have the girls. tom licas.
- InetRoadkill, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10I'm overclocked! Woot!

this guy is the best thing since AdmiralAdama - clempka, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Spoken like a true engineer.
- dsalmon9, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9That's got to be amongst the stupidest adverts I've ever seen!
- kathaclysm, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10Mechanical engineering couples have better moments.
- ReapZor, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9as a junior perusing my degree in computer engineering, i have noticed a few things about my peers, and why the engineers you work with received their degrees. The classes teach you what you need to know (for the most part) co-op and internships give you the experience, but what it all comes down to is if you can HOLD the information after all is said and done. To be quite honest, most of the people i take classes with can pass the tests easily, but after giving them two weeks they not only have trouble remembering what they were taught, but don't even care that they have forgotten it.
- pastaq, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10Why would he not tell me his commands himself? Either they aren't that important to him or I'm not. Or he doesn't exist. any way you slice it they seem pointless.
- saifatlast, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Studies suggest Yes.
