I think that it's best for folks who were mad at me for the whole Netscape vs. digg thing to consider two things: 1. there are hundreds of people working on Mahalo to help clean the web of spam, and they don't deserve to get hit because of my bad reputation on digg, and 2. Kevin Rose and I have buried the hatchet over the whole thing, and clearly Kevin is fine with folks being inspired by digg... in fact, he has upfront about digg being inspired by delicious and Pownce being inspired by Twitter in part. Our whole industry is about evolution... Mahalo is the evolution of DMOZ/Wikipedia/About/Google and I hope people on digg give it a chance.

    We're working really hard on it.
