How awesome is this for getting a test back from a professor?? [image]

- DeathJux, on 10/12/2007, -17/+400Best. Professor. Evar. He must have been a devout Calvin and Hobbes fan.
- DreKor, on 10/12/2007, -95/+241He must also be psychic since he returned a paper that had no name.
- gkoberger, on 10/12/2007, -6/+289there was a name... you can see it was edited out
- Software2, on 10/24/2007, -50/+583I think I'll make a random doodle on a test, and then make a response in red ink, and then post it on digg claiming it was from a professor too!
- unibomber999, on 10/25/2007, -99/+13Yeah, not written by a professor. The chickenscratch handwriting looks like a 5 year old wrote it.
- eplawless, on 10/25/2007, -59/+12I had professors who did stuff like this. So many Venn diagrams "accidentally" became *****, etc.
It's kind of annoying that this guy didn't take the time to properly fabricate it.
e: oh *****, wait. he whited out the information in photoshop, look closely. it's still possibly real. - danobrien23, on 10/12/2007, -10/+129oh no it's Trogdor!
- benijuana, on 10/24/2007, -7/+155@unibomber
could be fake, but handwriting and verbal skills are not most engineering profs' specialty. Almost every engineering class I've taken has been taught by a teacher who could design a bridge to hawaii but could barely even spell the word engineering.
ok thats not completely true but you get the point - ajmoo, on 10/12/2007, -47/+6yeah, i don't think a professor would spell "UNTILL" wrong, and then scribble out the extra "L"
...i giggled at it though - beejae, on 10/12/2007, -8/+14if you look closely you can KIND of see the image was modified.
closer inspection shows that this is question 2, so maybe its not the first page of the test. - dooms13, on 10/12/2007, -13/+3edit: beaten to it by benijuana
- eetraveller, on 10/12/2007, -6/+35This being a university test, chances are it was graded by a teaching assistant (TA). It's still pretty dubious, though.
- compaqnigg, on 10/25/2007, -7/+178I call fake, the dude who took the test probably did it after he got the test back. For proof I want a picture of the prof doing the drawing, I want written consent, and a nude photo of the professors legally aged daughter.
- jgrgg, on 10/12/2007, -13/+7how come when i teacher hands back a paper with a drawing like that that he did it's funny
but when a student turns in a paper with a drawing he did like that its an F...
and F doesnt stand for Funny
also i doubt that was from a professor i remember doing that decomposition junk in the 6th or 7th grade - gharding, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20@ajmoo:
Never been to college, huh? - DoodleMaster, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16Where are these "humorous" professors at and why can't I get one?!?!
- TheYellowMole, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12Evar???
- NumberFour, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1@ beejae
The name and first question were edited out... it could be real. - Cerium, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@Software2: Its completely believable. I have a teacher that does things like that.
- eridius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@jgrgg
Because when a student does it, he's deliberately not answering the question, and deserves to lose points on that.
You'll notice in this case the student actually did do it (he drew the party), but that was in addition to the answer, not replacing it. That got him a hilarious response from the professor, as opposed to the F he would have gotten had he not answered the question. - scotticus, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Professors don't correct exams. TAs (graduate students) do.
Go to college, dummy. - krigney, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@benjuana
I have a computer science teacher like that. his handwriting is terrible, he cant spell, and during class he practices typing. - UO07, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I love how he spelled UNTIL with two Ls at first. Genius professor if you ask me.
- anchorman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Hold on... hold on...
This is definitely a fake. Its so easy to tell.
The professor refers to the 'dotted' line and CLEARLY that is a dashed line!
- korimickster, on 10/12/2007, -11/+98T-Rex FTW.
- solemnraven, on 10/12/2007, -2/+75Clearly! that in an allosourus....duh,
(j/k :-P) - kodek, on 10/12/2007, -38/+11okay, ross
- jgrgg, on 10/12/2007, -3/+23i assume u mean ross the paleontologist from friends right?
- kodek, on 10/12/2007, -26/+6aw, come on! that had to be at _least_ a little funny! :-(
- Eddm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It was but to be honest, we were all thinking it anyway :)
- solemnraven, on 10/12/2007, -2/+75Clearly! that in an allosourus....duh,
- mookiemookie, on 10/12/2007, -5/+154Take that, birthday party!
- Lososaurus, on 10/12/2007, -26/+5Take that, space coyote!
....wait. - maize, on 10/12/2007, -22/+3If this is indeed true, notice the guy got an A at the top. Must have been a prized pupil that was close with the professor. Friendly enough that after he aced/finished the exam, he had enough time to draw a party at the bottom, and the prof replied with equal humor!
- dante2010, on 10/12/2007, -3/+58Umm he didn't get an A. That A was to designate the dotted line. There's one at the bottom as well.
- PleaseJustDie, on 10/12/2007, -9/+11nevermind, dante beat me to it.
- gbarger, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16If you'd actually read it, he deserved an A because he did actually answer the question correctly.
- Lososaurus, on 10/12/2007, -26/+5Take that, space coyote!
- acrophoric, on 10/12/2007, -6/+67What kind of professor misspells "until"?
- evilTak, on 10/12/2007, -5/+140A college professor.
- mmazing, on 10/12/2007, -43/+7He had it right the first time, stupid professor, UNTILL is the proper spelling.
- dvddesign, on 10/12/2007, -4/+31Once you get past the community college level, you'll see that most profs have tenure, not smarts, helping them keep their job.
I had a film school prof that wanted to find phallic imagery in every movie we watched in class. It was always ***** with her. What kind of person would willingly be taught film theory/analysis from someone who only sees ***** in every movie she watches. Tenure kept her employed.
Dr. Strangelove = Phallic, yes.
2001 = sure.
Seven Samurai = swords, okay maybe.
Thelma and Louise = WHERE?! What?! - Scoresheet, on 10/12/2007, -6/+16"what kind of professor misspells until"
Have you never misspelled a word you know the spelling for, by accident? - garyh84, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6dvddesign, if she is hot I am sure 90% of all college age males would like to take that class.
- Gizza, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I had an English teacher like that once, except with poems instead of movies.. She wasnt hot, but she certainly wasnt ugly. At first it was pretty funny, then it just got weird, and by the end it was torture.
- spvaland, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2a fake one.
- jleq, on 10/12/2007, -43/+7Fake, like so many others. You don't get to be a professor if you can't spell "until" correctly the first time.
- mikef98765, on 10/12/2007, -0/+41uh... have you ever had a college professor?
- hypnotizd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Fake or not, this is very amusing! :)
- TheTaoOfBill, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Why do people on the internet think spelling is a clear sign of intelligence. There are a lot of intelligent people who mispell things from time to time. Why do you think the spell check was invented? I've even seen professional writers have trouble spelling words. Spelling has NOTHING to do with intelligence. It really bugs me when someone thinks they've discredited someone entirely because they mispelled a word. As if they spell everything perfectly all the time. Get off your high horse grammar nazis.
- rudy23, on 10/12/2007, -19/+9Funny but fabricated.
so buried. - johngardiner, on 10/12/2007, -14/+7im so tired of the trends on digg... the only reason this got submitted is because there was another 'funny quiz picture' that made the front page earlier today. And there will probably be more following this. Get some original content before submitting!!
- ReadMeTXT, on 10/12/2007, -11/+3This post needs more t-rex jesus and t-rex in a F-22
- ImTheDarkcyde, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16there is no "t-rex jesus"
only a Raptor Jesus
- ImTheDarkcyde, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16there is no "t-rex jesus"
- Darqfaux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+45I grade Engineering Calculus tests and I've seen some pretty funny drawings, but I've never drawn back! LOL
- Tatusmi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2ya... it's lookin pretty fake, but funny none the less.
- MasterRex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Funny. I have an Engineering prof. that would do something like this..
Too bad the picture is too low of a resolution to read the fine print.- SalemWin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1+1 - you right!
- litolist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+27Notice the broken table with Presents thrown everywhere
Notice the Head falling from the kid in the dinosaur's mouth
Notice the lifeless kid in the dinosaur's arms
And finally, notice the child screaming under the dinosaur- nazsco, on 10/12/2007, -5/+15nice, now blind people with screen readers will be able to enjoy digg. You're so going to heaven. UNTIL...
- dedication, on 10/12/2007, -5/+0wow the silly things people do we all need professors like that.
- scootscr15, on 10/12/2007, -6/+0old
- rorkyB, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4is that t-rex dookie at the bottom?
- Boofster, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1LOL that's freakin' awesome!!!
- cmeador, on 10/12/2007, -0/+34This looks like the work of a (possibly drunk) T.A. In larger universities, a lot of the grading is done by grad students.
- cwcost, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0hilarious
- thedailytoker, on 10/12/2007, -21/+1Any professor with terrible had writing like that and cannot spell "until" needs to be fired. Oh wait, this is america... retards run the country.
- VTmruhlin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16Have you actually been to college? If so, where? At Virginia Tech, literate engineering professors are about as common as honest politicians. I had a math prof who had to go to handwriting classes, and it was still atrocious.
- jdog1016, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7@VTmruhlin
Unless there is another University that offers ME 2024 Engineering Design and Economics, looks like this is from a Virginia Tech professor too (or, since its ME, probably the TA) - Fartag, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3@thedailytoker
I don't know about your "had" writing but you should work on capitalizing proper nouns before becoming a professor yourself!
- DJPurity, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1there's no score on there, no name, and drawings; if only every test was like this one
- seeeymour, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8There is a score, the kid got an A. Hey, he got two!
- VTmruhlin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21Best professor comment I had:
"Before this I taught special ed 4th graders. Computer Science majors aren't much different."- jcm267, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1We're not really. We're a bunch of loud mostly geeky guys. There were 4 girls in my major, 2 of them were hot. The hot girls hardly showed up and when they did they were either drunk or coked up. A good source of comedy was the fat girl who came to class with various food items including a grab bag of scrap meats from the chinese restaurant across the street.
When you take pussy out of the equation guys are about as mature as 4th graders.

- Coolone84, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Theres no name on it because question 1 is on another paper (with the name?)?
- chetanw, on 10/12/2007, -11/+2What a lame article!! Buried
- michaelb1, on 10/12/2007, -11/+3I don;t get it. Can someone explain why this is awesome?
- judgeFire, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Your friendly window scroll bar can.
- gdragon, on 10/12/2007, -5/+35Very funny. Those of you who comment it's a fake need to go in depression medication. Who gives a ***** if it's fake? Turn that frown upside down Gloomy Gus!
- badbox, on 10/12/2007, -18/+1STFU.
- paiguy, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2When I was in college, the TA's and readers did most of the grading....
- zataraz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Should have been Trogdor! rawr.
- eightyd, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Awesome! This made me laugh at work today =D
- sonochamp, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5I think this was more likely done by a T.A. instead of a Professor. Still hilarious.
- badbox, on 10/12/2007, -28/+1Good ***** GOD you people are gullible.
1. The student never put a name down at the top
2. Handwriting is *****.
What does this mean? It's not real!
The person in question thought that he could jump on the bandwagon of "silly test answers" and try to make something funny. Instead he failed. Hard.
Anyone who dugg this story is a ***** moron.
To all you "it's fake, but funny" people, go ***** find something to do instead of spamming digg.- burnttoast11, on 10/12/2007, -6/+6Even though it's fake, it's still funny. I think I will go spam digg some more now.
- AHippie, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11I'd hardly say he failed, considering how many diggs this got. :P
- sonochamp, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15You're an idiot.
First off, it's question #2, therefore, the student may not have put his/her name on top of the page. And even if the person's name was on top, it may have been edited out before being posted on the internet (ever heard of photoshop?).
Second, what does handwriting have to do with anything? Major exams like this are almost always graded by teaching assistants (in engineering, many seem to know English as a second language). And if this one wasn't, any one who has taken an engineering course in college knows that engineering professors aren't exactly known for their fine penmanship. I graduated with a degree in engineering and not once have any of my professors (except the ones in some of my liberal arts electives) had handwritting much better than what's displayed on this paper.
I'm not saying it's real, but your points hardly prove it otherwise. - fantasticFlan, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Yeah, I'm sceptical, but...
1. Zoom in on the picture and see the white rectangles blocking out name, section, etc.
2. Handwriting means nothing. I just got an English paper back and can't read half of what the guy wrote.
- avirex01, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1this is sad to admit, but i dont even get it
'_'- maesterjay, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1yeah i dont either.... someone should explain this
- wilf_brim, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Would have been better with the one of the people saying:
"Aaugh! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!" - rchtr, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2Yet another reason I can never take digg seriously as a news site.
- Oeryk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Anyone got a copy anywhere else? WebSense is the devil, I tell you.
- ThwompBlock, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Great professor, or GREATEST professor?
- umdigger, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I'm not saying this isn't funny and cool, and I would enjoy it if it were mine. But it was probably graded by a grad student instructor. Most grading work is done by them, at least in my experiences. But who knows, I did have an advanced numerical methods professor from the UK who had a shaved head and nose ring and multiple ear rings. He was really cool, looked like that guy from Trainspotting.
- SignsOfLife, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1That's awwwwwwwwwwesome
- imajin, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1how dare you have a party without inviting me. guess i'll have to eat you all. sucks for you.
- stephanieneveda, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I don't care if that's real or not; it cracked me up.
- jetrost, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1@kodek
watch friends much? - Hidama, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7My chem professor actually draws and writes comments like that. It's one of the great upsides to doing so poorly on his tests.
- Tripw0l, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0made me laugh =)
- Lilbrittle, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Nvm It's working again(?)
- soulpunisher, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Look at the picture again...it looks like the Dino is taking a poop :)
- jakevanderkolk, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0LOL...I'll have to do that on the next quiz I give out.
- KaMaKaZi_KiNg, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0lol thats good as I wish I has a prof. like that
- TheYellowMole, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Buried as lame for using a T-Rex instead of a velociraptor. Everyone knows that velociraptors are more vicious and do not know fear.
- orbz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3Prof? I'm not sure whether this is from a uni or a college and how it might be different than my school/courses, but here very little marking is done by profs, it's mainly done by TAs.
I'd be more surprised if a TA did this than a prof tho, TAs are all majorly uptight while profs run around doing whatever crazy things they feel like - DreamVsPs2, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Don't care if fake or not, i think its funny as hell.
- HCJfilms, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Your professor obviously grades tests while tripping balls...
