- inactive, on 10/24/2007, -50/+583I think I'll make a random doodle on a test, and then make a response in red ink, and then post it on digg claiming it was from a professor too!
- DeathJux, on 10/12/2007, -17/+401Best. Professor. Evar. He must have been a devout Calvin and Hobbes fan.
- gkoberger, on 10/12/2007, -6/+289there was a name... you can see it was edited out
- inactive, on 10/25/2007, -7/+178I call fake, the dude who took the test probably did it after he got the test back. For proof I want a picture of the prof doing the drawing, I want written consent, and a nude photo of the professors legally aged daughter.
- mookiemookie, on 10/12/2007, -5/+154Take that, birthday party!
- benijuana, on 10/24/2007, -7/+155@unibomber
could be fake, but handwriting and verbal skills are not most engineering profs' specialty. Almost every engineering class I've taken has been taught by a teacher who could design a bridge to hawaii but could barely even spell the word engineering.
ok thats not completely true but you get the point - DreKor, on 10/12/2007, -95/+241He must also be psychic since he returned a paper that had no name.
- evilTak, on 10/12/2007, -5/+140A college professor.
- danobrien23, on 10/12/2007, -10/+129oh no it's Trogdor!
- GDunck, on 10/12/2007, -9/+119Don't ruin the fun.
- korimickster, on 10/12/2007, -11/+98T-Rex FTW.
- solemnraven, on 10/12/2007, -2/+75Clearly! that in an allosourus....duh,
(j/k :-P) - acrophoric, on 10/12/2007, -6/+67What kind of professor misspells "until"?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+58Umm he didn't get an A. That A was to designate the dotted line. There's one at the bottom as well.
- Darqfaux, on 10/12/2007, -0/+45I grade Engineering Calculus tests and I've seen some pretty funny drawings, but I've never drawn back! LOL
- mikef98765, on 10/12/2007, -0/+41uh... have you ever had a college professor?
- monahmat, on 10/12/2007, -4/+42He blanked out his information at the top, as well as the answer to the first question. Unlike you, he's smart.
- cmeador, on 10/12/2007, -0/+34This looks like the work of a (possibly drunk) T.A. In larger universities, a lot of the grading is done by grad students.
- mmazing, on 10/12/2007, -2/+33It's the 2nd page of the exam (Note question #2). That explains the no details at the top.
- gdragon, on 10/12/2007, -5/+35Very funny. Those of you who comment it's a fake need to go in depression medication. Who gives a ***** if it's fake? Turn that frown upside down Gloomy Gus!
- eetraveller, on 10/12/2007, -6/+35This being a university test, chances are it was graded by a teaching assistant (TA). It's still pretty dubious, though.
- Sp0rAdiC, on 10/12/2007, -20/+49and the fact that there is no name on the test?
...oh that's right, once you switch from pencil to red pen you are a teacher, I forgot about that. - dvddesign, on 10/12/2007, -4/+31Once you get past the community college level, you'll see that most profs have tenure, not smarts, helping them keep their job.
I had a film school prof that wanted to find phallic imagery in every movie we watched in class. It was always ***** with her. What kind of person would willingly be taught film theory/analysis from someone who only sees ***** in every movie she watches. Tenure kept her employed.
Dr. Strangelove = Phallic, yes.
2001 = sure.
Seven Samurai = swords, okay maybe.
Thelma and Louise = WHERE?! What?! - litolist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+27Notice the broken table with Presents thrown everywhere
Notice the Head falling from the kid in the dinosaur's mouth
Notice the lifeless kid in the dinosaur's arms
And finally, notice the child screaming under the dinosaur - jgrgg, on 10/12/2007, -3/+23i assume u mean ross the paleontologist from friends right?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21Best professor comment I had:
"Before this I taught special ed 4th graders. Computer Science majors aren't much different." - gharding, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20@ajmoo:
Never been to college, huh? - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16Have you actually been to college? If so, where? At Virginia Tech, literate engineering professors are about as common as honest politicians. I had a math prof who had to go to handwriting classes, and it was still atrocious.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16there is no "t-rex jesus"
only a Raptor Jesus - DoodleMaster, on 10/12/2007, -2/+16Where are these "humorous" professors at and why can't I get one?!?!
- MasterRex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14Funny. I have an Engineering prof. that would do something like this..
Too bad the picture is too low of a resolution to read the fine print. - sonochamp, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15You're an idiot.
First off, it's question #2, therefore, the student may not have put his/her name on top of the page. And even if the person's name was on top, it may have been edited out before being posted on the internet (ever heard of photoshop?).
Second, what does handwriting have to do with anything? Major exams like this are almost always graded by teaching assistants (in engineering, many seem to know English as a second language). And if this one wasn't, any one who has taken an engineering course in college knows that engineering professors aren't exactly known for their fine penmanship. I graduated with a degree in engineering and not once have any of my professors (except the ones in some of my liberal arts electives) had handwritting much better than what's displayed on this paper.
I'm not saying it's real, but your points hardly prove it otherwise. - gbarger, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16If you'd actually read it, he deserved an A because he did actually answer the question correctly.
- wilf_brim, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Would have been better with the one of the people saying:
"Aaugh! Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal!" - Tony611, on 10/12/2007, -4/+16Fake - he didn't initial the honor pledge.
- TheTaoOfBill, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12Why do people on the internet think spelling is a clear sign of intelligence. There are a lot of intelligent people who mispell things from time to time. Why do you think the spell check was invented? I've even seen professional writers have trouble spelling words. Spelling has NOTHING to do with intelligence. It really bugs me when someone thinks they've discredited someone entirely because they mispelled a word. As if they spell everything perfectly all the time. Get off your high horse grammar nazis.
- judgeFire, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Your friendly window scroll bar can.
- nazsco, on 10/12/2007, -5/+15nice, now blind people with screen readers will be able to enjoy digg. You're so going to heaven. UNTIL...
- Scoresheet, on 10/12/2007, -6/+16"what kind of professor misspells until"
Have you never misspelled a word you know the spelling for, by accident? - TheYellowMole, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12Evar???
- AHippie, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11I'd hardly say he failed, considering how many diggs this got. :P
- marinist, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9That prof has better drawing skills.
- jdog1016, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7@VTmruhlin
Unless there is another University that offers ME 2024 Engineering Design and Economics, looks like this is from a Virginia Tech professor too (or, since its ME, probably the TA) - seeeymour, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8There is a score, the kid got an A. Hey, he got two!
- beejae, on 10/12/2007, -8/+14if you look closely you can KIND of see the image was modified.
closer inspection shows that this is question 2, so maybe its not the first page of the test. - Hidama, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7My chem professor actually draws and writes comments like that. It's one of the great upsides to doing so poorly on his tests.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Hold on... hold on...
This is definitely a fake. Its so easy to tell.
The professor refers to the 'dotted' line and CLEARLY that is a dashed line! - garyh84, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6dvddesign, if she is hot I am sure 90% of all college age males would like to take that class.
- hypnotizd, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Fake or not, this is very amusing! :)
- PleaseJustDie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6LOL, you guys are blind. You can clearly see that there is a solid offwhite box where the name would be. All around it is different shades of white/off-white but if you look close you can see there is a box on the name line that is all one color. That same colored box also is over where question 1 would be and over a large portion of the page after it had been folded.
