- SoyChemist, on 05/03/2008, -2/+40She would not have been sentenced until July, and publicly stated that she planned to fight hard in court, so why would she off herself with at least three months of freedom remaining?
- Jimmyb207, on 05/03/2008, -9/+42In one of her last interviews she stated "for the record" that she was NOT going to commit suicide. She was murdered in cold blood. Washington is obviously cleaning house.
5 minute audio:

Let's hope the MSM picks up on this. This smells BAD. - petebot, on 05/03/2008, -1/+24Yeah, this seemed fishy to me as soon as I heard it.
- mentallyinhell, on 05/03/2008, -1/+17Want to make murder look like suicide? Just kill an emo kid, then find one of his lame poems or print one of their blogs and put it near the body.
- wishninja, on 05/03/2008, -0/+14People seem to think you would need to have this great plan to murder someone and get away with it. Not if you own the media and the investigators too! Forget it people we will never know the truth.
- inactive, on 05/03/2008, -6/+18He's the ONLY one so far, and it contradicts her other public comments about the situation.
So basically this one unsubstantiated comment that opposes her public statements is being used by the rightards to argue against investigating this "suicide". - johlorax, on 05/03/2008, -1/+11I hear she was wearing an "I love Paul Wellstone" T-shirt.
- iamdan1, on 05/03/2008, -0/+9Want to make it a suicide, buy the right drugs and pay the right people...
- Jimmyb207, on 05/03/2008, -1/+9Hearsay disinfo.
- mfc5200, on 05/03/2008, -0/+8Let's be serious for a second. Imagine you were in her shoes. You would know, how much of a mess/speculation you would be leaving behind if you killed yourself.
You would probably take the time to record a video or even something more descriptive. You are a very important figure at the head of a huge controversy, I don't think you would consider a little "note" sufficient enough to explain why you were going to KILL YOURSELF! At the very least, you would leave unquestionable evidence that you killed yourself as to avoid a JFK conspiracy theory for the rest of time. Suicide my ass. - inactive, on 05/03/2008, -7/+14Not fishy.
Bushy. - jerger23, on 05/03/2008, -4/+9Hmm, many other news stories are carrying reports like this: "Dan Moldea, a Washington writer who befriended Palfrey while considering writing a book about her, said she was cautiously optimistic about her trial, even when the case went before the jury. After the conviction, Moldea sent her an e-mail but didn't hear back. A week later, he said, he sent another note entitled "A Concerned Friend" asking whether she was OK. Again, he didn't hear back. After hearing of her death, he recalled a conversation over dinner last year when the subject of prison came up. "She said, `I am not going back to prison. I will commit suicide first,'" Moldea said."
- SSUK, on 05/03/2008, -0/+5How would I make murder look like suicide? Shout "I'm going to jump" before pushing the person off a roof.
- Deodrus, on 05/03/2008, -0/+4Nice find.
- ParticleMan420, on 05/03/2008, -4/+8i wouldn't consider alex jones an unbiased and reliable source for news.
why not site a pravda and sun article you read about it in while you're at it - chocobomog, on 05/03/2008, -5/+9Who said suicide made sense?
People have offed themselves at random times for even more mundane things than this. This is not "proof" of a conspiracy. - Suricou, on 05/03/2008, -0/+4No need to worry about the toxicology screening - if this was a political murder, the murderer(s) might have enough influence to hurry the investigation along without it.
- jerger23, on 05/03/2008, -4/+8You're right, all of the evidence is SOOOO stacked against her killer. I can't believe an Alex Jones supporter would kill her so that AJ could frame the government.
- VitriolAndAngst, on 05/03/2008, -1/+5Take two thugs, put a gun to a ladies head and tell her they are going to torture and kill her after killing her mom -- or she can just take what is coming to her. After the note is written, they put her on a chair and put a rope around her neck. As a courtesy, one man jumps and grabs her as she kicks the chair, snapping her neck -- which isn't possible with a chair kick.
But, I don't know what this topic has to do with current events. /sarcasm
Oh, and another I've seen from a movie; you have a winch system that basically fits over the shoulders and pulls the arm down in place to hold a gun against the head. Everything looks like a person shot themselves. A good forensics job might notice that the powder from the gun, doesn't hit the shirt where some apparatus was placed. - void, on 05/03/2008, -1/+4I always thought this clip from Michael Clayton was a pretty ingenious way of staging a suicide:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ugWYhu1CsI - inactive, on 05/03/2008, -1/+4She was obviously murdered. She knows way too much. The people in the government that paid for sex through her were rightfully terrified that was she going to doing some big time name dropping before she went in. So they did what our government does so often.
- Mysk, on 05/03/2008, -1/+3I'm not saying that I do nor that I do not trust Alex Jones. The fact is that it's a recording of her specifically saying that she would not kill herself. It's straight forward and impossible to misunderstand. The person interviewing her at the time may or may not have questionable biases, but her answer was what it was. She was not coerced. This is not Alex Jones or a company like Pravda writing a sensationalist article nor is it her comment being taken out of context; they're words straight from her mouth specifically saying that she would never kill herself.
I've seen too many people question the validity of the interview because it was with Alex Jones, but they need to understand that her statement should not be so easily disregarded. - wexmajor, on 05/03/2008, -0/+2Pretty soon speculating about this kind of thing will get you arrested. You're not allowed to look up how bombs work, why the ***** would Big Brother let you think about how to get away with murder?
- louiebaur, on 05/03/2008, -1/+3That is one way to do it I guess
- VitriolAndAngst, on 05/03/2008, -0/+2You are right.
This outfit could have just shot her and wrote the story later -- who would challenge it?
They even have the elected Governor of Alabama Dan Siegelman put in Federal Prison on trumped up charges by a Federal Prosecutor in the pocket of Karl Rove. This was for his retaliation of contesting the Republicans bringing their own box of alleged votes minutes before the election was called and then making it illegal to examine the votes. He has just been released after months of public outcry. But until this time, he was shuffled from one prison or another and not allowed to talk to the press. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/29/us/29alabama.htm ...
If BushCo can do this to a Governor -- they can do this to anyone.
Recently, there have been reports that his allies have had their files stolen, houses burned, and been run off the road. Sounds like a story line for a bad movie about corruption that would stretch incredulity. - ThinkBox, on 05/03/2008, -0/+2Former Gov. and say what you will about how he is being wronged, but he was and always has been a crook.
- TheSabre, on 05/03/2008, -2/+4All these clips of her saying she would never commit suicide or people would try to kill her and make it look like suicide all came out before she was found guilty and sentenced. She was not a criminal at that point. Having the courts tell you you've been officially found guilty and will be going to prison for up to 55 years changes peoples' outlooks on life.
- inactive, on 05/04/2008, -0/+2But when she came on the show in march they discussed this very topic. She said they might try to kill her and that she wouldn't kill herself. Is that reliable enough for you?
- Jan33, on 05/30/2008, -0/+1join the cia
- whalt, on 05/04/2008, -0/+1That's easy. Just murder yourself.
- inactive, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1That winch arm device was in Shooter, very good movie.
- cybrspin, on 05/03/2008, -1/+2but its great for theorizing :)
- saisumimen, on 05/04/2008, -1/+2They probably used the drug Colombian drug scopolamine and just told her to do it.
- smacksaw, on 05/03/2008, -2/+3I know how. Ask Alex Jones and go with whatever he says.
- GRIMREAPER187, on 05/04/2008, -0/+1the secret lies in the way the knot was tied
- normlsparky, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1first i would become a rich and powerful politician. do some favors, a little extortion here and there, appoint a few people to key positions. then i would develop many friends in similar positions; you know, do some good old fashioned networking. if i were to ever get my ass in a sling, i would look around for others in my position. more networking. at that point it may be possible to pool our collective assets, resources and influence. we could then purchase a solution to make the problem quietly go away in a timely manner, before any unsavory details were released. it would be the perfect crime.
- zarrel40, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1this was a pointless article..
- inactive, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1i hope she had a fail safe set up, now there will be a huge story with everyones name out in the open.
- TheHim, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1Tonight's the night, and it's going to happen again and again. Has to happen.
Nice night. Miami is a great town; I love the Cuban food, pork sandwiches - my favorite.
But i'm hungry for something different now. - inactive, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1I suppose if I had to say. I would manipulate her.
- inactive, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1I would put the blood stain on the ceiling.
- cybrspin, on 05/03/2008, -1/+1thats a good start :)
- Tucci1, on 05/31/2008, -0/+0If she really had the goods, why didn't she write and/or video an affidavit that named names and leave it with her lawyers, or better still, make multiple copies and leave them sealed with people she trusted, to be released in the event of her death? Why didn't she name the names at her trial before the verdict was reached?
- inactive, on 05/03/2008, -1/+1It doesn't need to be done well if you can tell the people investigating it not to dig too deep. And you know they'll do it too, because otherwise they too will suddenly feel very very depressed.
- mrogi, on 05/03/2008, -1/+1Murder a man and make it look like a suicide by tying a noose around his neck and surround his nude body with porn magazines. The coroner will declare it an open&shut case of self imposed sexual asphyxiation.
- blendininn, on 05/04/2008, -0/+0the crux of the entire investigation lies in what she was or wasn't wearing.."egg spurts" can tell right away if folks are suicidal by whether or not they are wearing any underwear before they meet their maker
- inactive, on 05/04/2008, -1/+1yeah both can be useful)))
- GIACOMOSAN, on 05/03/2008, -1/+1Have government agents clean up the evidence as quick as possible. That'll clear all the suspicion all right.
- s0nicfreak, on 05/03/2008, -1/+1Yeah how?? I uh... I think my mom is suicidal.
