- RubberBand, on 12/07/2007, -2/+20If you're worried that the 10 seconds you spend folding shirts is too much, then I'm afraid that you're time management skills are ***** up.
- jmpeagle, on 12/07/2007, -3/+15you are time management skills?
- Kale27, on 12/07/2007, -0/+12Holy ancient internets! Wasn't the original one with a Japanese girl?
- Techno, on 12/07/2007, -1/+12Wow this is a really old video.
Here's what I consider the original. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4776825453 ... - inactive, on 12/07/2007, -1/+12Considering it's teaching you how to do it?
- TangentThought, on 12/07/2007, -2/+12The Japanese already did it a loooooooooong time ago:

- konspence, on 12/07/2007, -2/+5*insert non-arbitrary comment contesting the definition of arbitrary*
- drizzlelicious, on 12/07/2007, -0/+3This is how I fold all my shirts. Except he's not very good at it.
- getsk3wled, on 12/07/2007, -0/+3my mother just did laundry, how ironic!!
- DEFSMAC, on 12/07/2007, -1/+3or don't do your laundry at all and wear a dirty shirt and nice broken in jeans and save even more hours of your life.
- kukon, on 12/07/2007, -4/+6wow, nice trick
- TheGuruStud, on 12/07/2007, -2/+4This ix no where near as good as the chinese lady folding shirts in 2 secs, literally.
It's kind of lame, actually. - euro22, on 12/17/2008, -2/+4I just ate a sanwhich. How ironic.
- bluesnowmonkey, on 12/07/2007, -0/+2http://digg.com/tech_news/How_to_fold_a_Shirt
- Rudiger81, on 12/07/2007, -0/+2Amazing how many things on Digg get rehashed as original. Buried
- illdourmum, on 12/07/2007, -0/+2pretty neat... but the fold, no so neat
- crzdmnsldy, on 12/07/2007, -1/+2.....................use a hanger. no creases.
- animal71, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1What you gain in time, you lose in friends
- spiffytech, on 12/07/2007, -0/+110 seconds per shirt doesn't sound like much, but I've been using this method since it appeared on Digg a year and a half ago. When you have to fold 15+ shirts, the saved time per shirt adds up. Even if you don't value the extra couple of minutes, it at least feels like you're getting through the chore quicker.
- inactive, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1Let me say the same thingthat gets said every time this video gets posted...So..if you have all your shirts laid out like that (which takes time), then you could save time compared to picking it back up and folding it normally (and much more neater). But if you are actually DOING laundry, and therefore picking through the basket or out of the dryer, it is just as quick to fold it regularly than to lay it out perfectly flat like that, and then do that.
- RTPMatt, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1I do not think that word means what you think it means.
- animal71, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1Japanese woman, actually.
- jondan, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1if you're doing an instructional video, at least be able make the result look good :
- linkcma, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1I don't fold my clothes anyway
- Firehed, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1If you're good at it, you don't need to lay the shirt flat. It helps, but so long as you know roughly where to pinch, it's definitely quicker.
- RedGreen1, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1Yay! I will save hours over my lifetime. Now just to figure out how to recover the hours spent perfecting this trick...
- inactive, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1awesome, can someone post a video on how to tie shoelaces? i think i'm a little too old to still be wearing velcro straps
- BayAreaKing, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1There's 108 seconds of my life i'll never get back
- jazzboyrules, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1It is like the remake of Grudge, Ring and other movies....
- animal71, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1What makes the Japanese xenophobic?
Do you think it's the fact that they view other nationalities as stereotypes? - dallastarsfan16, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1how did this make the front page?
- GeorgeClayton, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1Saw a much better video (in Japanese) a few yeas ago, he makes it seem twice as complicated at it is. It's the only way I ever fold t-shirts since; although I usually just hang t-shirts in the closet.
- DarkSideofMoon, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1Now that video on the internet is pretty common, I hope amateurs (including myself) will take sound/audio into account when posting videos. Remember, sound is 50% of the production.
The voice in this video sounded WAAAAY too muffled to understand what he was saying. - legendxx, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1report pls
- legendxx, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1you mean your mom?
- GunnerMcGrath, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1I could be wrong but I think it's actually Australian. They really hate it when you mix that up.
- tynansanger, on 12/07/2007, -0/+1Notice how wrinkled that shirt was.
- inactive, on 12/07/2007, -0/+0heh glad im rich enough that i have a maid to do all that bs stuff for me
- K00q33m0nsta, on 12/07/2007, -0/+0I thought Odd Stuff said Old Stuff at first glance...
- Knobbs, on 12/07/2007, -0/+0Wow, between this and Mustardayonaise, I won't know what to do with my extra time.
"There's got to be a better way!"
I don't know of a way to fold t-shirts that DOES take longer than 2 seconds. And, as previously stated, they don't require shirts to be laid perfectly flat. - iPood, on 12/07/2007, -1/+1Two other people posted the same video a looooooooong time ago.
- animal71, on 12/07/2007, -0/+0But if you dry your shirts on the line or on hangers on a line (as most households in Japan do) then the shirts are "flat" to start with. I think this is why the technique was invented in Japan.
- fitzy209, on 12/07/2007, -0/+0cool, but I'm pretty sure time spent learning that technique will waste me more time than my current method
- Rev0lver, on 12/07/2007, -2/+2It's a sad day when people shoot down an entire sentenced based on the questionable use of a single word. Then again, it IS Digg,,,
