Firstly, if it were just about celebrating the birth of Christ I wouldn't be so against it if it were actually done on his birthday. Because any religious scholar knows that Christ-mas day isn't the day that Jesus was born.
Secondly, Santa Claus is as Christian as an Israeli Buddhist inside a mosque. Like come on!
Thirdly, instead of a day to celebrate family, it's more of a day to ravage one another in big spending which it shouldn't be about anyways, so you're supposed be a relative Scrooge on Christmas.
Lastly, isn't December 25th just another day of the year and shouldn't have any special connotation to it? Because we know it's not religious, and we know it's no longer about family, then what's the point of having it?- AlabamaAl, on 11/23/2007, -0/+3presents
