good work guys;) - LordSkywalker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21"The 8-year resident..." That makes 70,000/8 = 8,750/yr. at 365 days in a year = 23.97.
That's a case of 24 cans per day! Question is: Did he have an continuous 8 year party or the world strongest liver? - iNunchuk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20@Andrej73
Don't forget leap years! - themastersb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17I didn't give anyone permission to take pictures of my house and post them on the net.
- lolSTG, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15maybe he was just a really thirsty guy :/
- danklogix, on 10/12/2007, -6/+21Oh my God; you've found my house.

- waytoorandomx, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Errr... viral marketing for Coors Light? Yay for Sony-like attempts at fame!
- noeljohnhoward, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12Chicken. that joke is so played out. please man
- bitcloud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9hahah too bad it basically says that coors light is so unsatisfying you'll have to drink a housefull
- ICSU, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9"Well in those days Mars was just a dreary, uninhabitable wasteland, much like Utah. But unlike Utah, it was eventually made livable."
- solodude59, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10yes......?
- thepolkapunk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8The pictures WERE mirrored, if you look up at previous comments. You're not being dugg down for a good suggestion, you're being dugg down because you didn't take the time to see if it had already been done.

It's Snopes. Snopes is internets law. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7i smell an episode of seinfeld
- jhshukla, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9jesus!
- Wongeroo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4If he was an alcoholic it would make sense that he would have to consume that much beer in a state that regulates the maximum percentage of alcohol that is well below the norm in most other areas.
- Ramtech, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4well ... where do you live?..its my bday today :)
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I wonder how many hangovers, out of wedlock babies, and STDs were spread there
- coldfusion055, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Man, he could have just sold his furniture for beer money and then made his own furniture from all the cans and boxes. Sounds like somebody needs an endorsement.
- jbarket, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yeah, they must have used the can tool.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Thats a lot of recycling money that can be made!
- terrya64, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I usually will believe what Snopes says but I just don't buy this story. Guy is very clean but drinks all this beer and never throws away the cans?
How would he get around with all those cans blocking the doors and such? I think Coors may be behind this. - brstilson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah, this is all a plan for their new "Drink Coors...become a slovenly disaster of a human being" campaign. I'm sure any company would love to be associated with what is probably the rock-bottom point of that guy's life. "House filled with 70,000 beer cans? No water or heat? Just remember...Coors helped you get there!"
- dicerandom, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4That's $3500 in cans, assuming CA redemption value of $0.05.
- thestitch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Maybe he thought it was water? damn light beers . . .
- gnatgirl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2As a Utah resident and a moderate drinker, I must disagree with you, cbergeron. You can, in fact, get drinks in the majority of restaurants here and I've never been chastised for having a drink or two with my meal. It is true, Utah has some interesting liquor laws, but there are a lot of other states that have laws that are just as strict or even stricter. At least we don't have dry counties like they do in the bible belt. I will swig my beer and proudly dispose of my bottles responsibly.
- KidVicious, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3The story is in Utah.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Nevermind the pic of the cans, I want a pic of this guy! He has to be HUGE consuming that many calories in beer! At about 100 calories/can, he's knockin' back 2400 cals just in beer, and as we all know drinking beer or any other substance that slows down your nervous system will cause you to become extremely hungry. Factor in all the junk he must have ate during those munchies bouts and you're looking at easily 4000 calories per day, easy, if not more.
I'm no small guy @ 235 lbs, and at my weight I'm allowed almost 3000 calories to maintain my current weight. If this guy weighs what I do (I suspect he weighs more), then consuming 4000 calories a day would mean he would gain 2lbs a week. Of course, his maintenance level would rise as his weight rose, but at what point does it balance out? I've got my money on a clean 400 lbs. - solodude59, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I didnt give permission for themastersb to live in my house!!!! WTF?! Im calling INS, or FBI, or NXS........
- SCAdvanced, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2FTA: "According to KSL-TV, the townhouse has since been cleaned up, and the former resident has stopped drinking and has resumed his former job."
All those years wasted, just to go back to work??? - clemsontiger, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2...i could have sworn i locked my doors before coming home for the holidays
- cornerback42, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That's one hellavua party!
- brstilson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"@brstilson still gross!!"
What do you expect....it's CHEAP BEER! - iStunT, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i wonder how many livers he went through...
- jimbabb, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That's not beer, it's Coors.
- jhender, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1unless he buys from a state owned liquor store (rare) in utah, the beer would be 3.2% percent alcohol by weight. perhaps thats why he could (had to) quaff so much beer to feel drunk.
ref: http://saltlakecity.about.com/cs/vggettingaround/a/utahliquorlaws.htm - tomeitel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1dude he was from Ogden which is wayyy out side salt lake and full of non-mormons... oh and i doubt he was a closet drinker his closet filled up in the first week! so he came out of the closet pretty quick! hahaha
- dapperdrake, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Halloween on State Street is my guess...

- ThankTheCheese, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1if he was a closet beer drinker he sure is bad at keeping a secret.
- jhender, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alcohol_and_weight
Weight may not be connected with alcohol consumption. Read up. - brstilson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13.2% abw is about 4-5% abv, which is average for beer.
- fatmonkey26, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1it's probably a picture of kevin's or alex's house from diggnation
