- Jaq524, on 10/12/2007, -1/+64What, people drag monitors? Does that mean in the US monitors drag us?
... actually there's some truth to that. - Yaki, on 10/12/2007, -3/+38You, sir, have won the internet.
- Netmindstorm, on 10/12/2007, -1/+31Clearly that is not his computer, that must be his spouse.
- stephenwq, on 10/12/2007, -0/+23The servers terribly slow:

If you haven't already, installing the Greasemonkey script to add a duggmirror link into every story, get it here:

- a3r0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19But it's not Russia...
- unicornhunter, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13He probably was just drunk and thought it was his dog.
- Jakyll, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Whew,+1 Digg.
I almost missed this one; I just got back in from taking my monitor out for a walk, too. - Absinthminded64, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10I used to do this with dead monitors all the time. They don't have convenient handles and when they've piled up it makes them a lot easier to move.
The guy is probably carrying the thing to the tras .. err. rubbish bin. - dggeek, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I dunno. 18-25yr males in the US and UK do stupid ***** all the time, just to get a reaction from people on the street, and post it to youtube/flikr. Maybe this is something similar.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9why did you digg it?
- rcran, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8HEY! Come back here with my monitor!
- RoyHobbs, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9how did this get on the front page??
- titlesaysitall, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7In Communist Cuba warranty covers you!
- ziki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Its a Russian Boxer
- saikhan, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7He must be a network administrator at allofmp3.
- egotripping, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Reminds me of that Simpsons episode where Homer drags his computer home behind his car.
- dude3609, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5i'm also wondering how this made the front page.
All this looks like to me is a guy looking for attention because he can haul around a $20 monitor using a rope. Is this what happens when digg gets bored? :) - ryan4477, on 10/12/2007, -6/+9i dont know about you but id never marry a monitor
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3No, I'm pretty sure it's the other way around. Case & Point: You.
- pritch, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Obviously didn't quite grasp the concept of a cyberpet.
- monergism, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Many times I have done that on the way to dispose.
- insomniac8400, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Ain't you never seen a man taking his monitor for a walk before?
- Rabbethan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That this is ancient, he is probably just taking it to be trown away anyways.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3... servers blow ass?
- Technopundit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Geek Squad really ought to start training their techs better.
- radio1mike, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Bad CRT! I am taking you out for a drag!
- demonio, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3how does this get to the front page
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Replace it with coworker's monitor, it becomes his problem.
- apocelo42, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Being that it is a CRT, I some how doubt the there is still a warranty on it to not cover the damage.
- PhantomBantam, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1EnglishRussia is down? They can usually handle a good Digging. There must be some other high volume sight linking.
- netplaya, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I hope he looked out for dogs...there were trees nearby...
- infimprob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1You've all got it wrong this chap was clearly just taking his monitor out for a nice walk in the park.
- Managore, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd be pissed too if I had to live with having a CRT like that. Dragging would ensue, no doubt
- ruspecnaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's Ukraine
- mikewhalley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That's taking your virtual pet dog a bit too far.
- drummerdude208, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4http://duggmirror.com
- ynyfrik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Funny, I doubt that monitor was ever working when he got it.Hes probably taking it to work or dacha to take it apart.
Correction : dragging* ;) - po43292, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1My roommate and I put 2 CRTs out by our dumpster and put a note on them:
"Drag away by the cord or re-gift them." - AReallyGoodName, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1That's true, cheap monitors are crap, but that's the point i'm making.
Who cares what damage someone does to one? - unicornhunter, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1yeah, I betcha he named it Klitchko
- AReallyGoodName, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Yeah i didn't see a problem with it myself. Old CRTs arn't worth repairing anymore as you can buy 19inch CRTs for US$29
http://froogle.google.com/froogle?q=CRT+monitor&btnG=Search - SloppyJoe, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2*ahem* In soviet russia, Monitor walks you!

- MrTea, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1In before soviet russia jokes.
- garg, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I want Alokozay Tea
- darkspire, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Your eyes will thank you if you don't buy a $29 19" CRT. They typically have horrible dpi and resolution support. If you sit at a desk and stare at a display all day it is in your best interests to spend a few dollars on a display that doesn't suck and will not add additional eye strain because it sucks.
- gamecast, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Next weeks front page: Man drags LCD monitor across street!
Thats new. - TKmac02, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1second post in two days from EnglishRussia.com. It is interesting to see the diferences between Russia and most of the rest of the world though
- Panhead, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0Beat me to it
