    Don't think you can resist Cops putting cuffs on you.

    Don't think that once a cop or cops get you on the ground that you can ignore them and refuse to give your hands to be cuffed.

    I for one would take a taser over an arm bar anyday.

  • BigManOnCampus, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3This is what you get when you contract out campus policing. At my campus the police force is it's own subdivision of the city's police force, hence they are better trained and more professional.
  • spidrw, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0I don't know if you're talking about Florida or not, but I can assume you are. Those cops (while certainly not the brightest bunch) are 'state' police, meaning they technically have jurisdiction damn near anywhere in Florida. Are most of them rejects from the city or county cops, yeah, but that's the case with most state cops. Either way, with a student body of 46,000+, the city police force just couldn't handle enough people to manage that group.
