- inactive, on 07/08/2008, -11/+104I thought this already existed, we just called it the Whitehouse
- ironeus, on 08/01/2008, -7/+83Does the phrase "It's an honor just to be nominated" apply to this vote?
- neognostic, on 07/08/2008, -13/+87I don't think Bush is bright enough to be offended by the joke.
- brstilson, on 07/09/2008, -11/+77That name is inappropriate. Sewage plants actually treat sewage and clean up the mess. A public restroom named after the President would be more in order I think.
- shawn524, on 07/08/2008, -7/+67Will he make an appearance for the ribbon cutting?
- FallOutBoyTonto, on 07/08/2008, -12/+51no *****!
- alapoet, on 07/08/2008, -10/+44The most appropriate name imaginable!
- seraph582, on 07/09/2008, -5/+23***** that - name it the "RIAA/MPAA Sewage Treatment Facility," since it's a pipedream to think that any of the candidates running now are going to be any better.
- mytruckhasdents, on 07/09/2008, -4/+18...Even better- we could just rename Detroit...
- xsecretfiles, on 07/09/2008, -1/+15Do it, See if he cares
- stevetrojanman, on 07/09/2008, -5/+17So true...
I wonder if they'll bestow a new dump in the honor of the woman of 2006, Nancy Pelosi...
Wow, she's really helped clean up this "*****" we're in...Sadly, they probably still idolize her there because she's willing to listen to the "voice of the people", which is loonier than most, up there in San Fran. - Greengoo, on 07/09/2008, -3/+15Say what you want about the government, but kindly leave my country out of it.
- MrFurious2k, on 07/09/2008, -9/+18Don't they have some better use for their time? Perhaps they could find another cause to protest.
- Surferess, on 07/08/2008, -10/+18Excellent idea. It should be called the "George W Bush sh*t stops here facility"!
- stevetrojanman, on 07/09/2008, -4/+12And ***** you too...
- glasnostic, on 07/09/2008, -8/+16time wasting *****? you seem to think this is a democrat only thing. what if i was to provide evidence that republicans do the same thing? would you retract your statement? doubt it..
anyway.. .i'm off to get some freedom fries - AgainstObama, on 07/09/2008, -3/+11How dramatic.
- biogears, on 07/09/2008, -11/+18This story appeals to the Juvenile Geeky Left. They will ultimately have to grow up.
- drunkturkey, on 07/09/2008, -1/+8Bad idea. What comes out of those plants is basically drinkable water - so, in reality, this would probably be an honor for the man.
- hexydes, on 07/09/2008, -1/+7No, because it's much easier to point fingers, find fault, and call names, than it is to actually try and do the things necessary to make the world a better place.
- Robart, on 07/09/2008, -3/+11It should be the Nancy Ihavenospine Pelosi sewage facility.
- culbeda, on 07/09/2008, -6/+13This is an affront to sewage treatment plants everywhere!
- augustwest30, on 07/09/2008, -3/+10That would be too generous. Sewage treatment plants actually clean up messes.
- biznatch11, on 07/09/2008, -0/+6I'm going to rename my butt the George W. Bush sewage production plant.
- PabloMac, on 07/09/2008, -1/+7Democrats are assumed to be behind this because the Republicans in the area were both away at the time.
- LtD4n, on 07/09/2008, -2/+8Bush: This place got a pool?
Ty Webb: Pool and a pond... Pond be good for you. - hexydes, on 07/09/2008, -17/+22What a bunch of petty and immature people. This is what five-year-old children do in kindergarten. Grow up. If you disagree with someone, use words to start an intelligent discussion about how you feel, not your local "city power" to do what amounts to calling someone a name in public.
You wonder why wars start; it's because people like this run around acting like a bunch of damned children. - PabloMac, on 07/09/2008, -2/+8Come over here and say that.
- IronDonut, on 07/09/2008, -1/+8I submitted this story to Digg like 2 weeks ago; http://digg.com/politics/The_George_W_Bush_Sewage_ ...
Digg is rigged. - KainHighwind, on 07/09/2008, -4/+8Your response should be the only comment on this thread. Genius.
- Verfel, on 07/09/2008, -1/+6and why wouldn't some republicans support it? The country still shows a 30ish% approval rating for the pres which means that there must be some republicans out there who think this way. Try reading between those lines again, you seemed to have missed a few important ones...
- inactive, on 07/09/2008, -1/+6I wish I could bump this.
If there were only some sort of feature that would let me vote for this article, and as it obtains more votes from users, it could be placed in some sort of 'featured' or 'most votes' area of the website. - Hypersapien, on 07/09/2008, -2/+6That's if he even knows about it. I'm sure his handlers are keeping it from him.
- gigamugged, on 07/09/2008, -3/+7A democratic and free Iraq just asked us to set a timetable for pulling out our troops, and Bush just said no. Your definition of democracy is somewhat suspect. As for not being attacked, you do remember this event that happened on September 11th, right? Six months into one of the most corrupt and incompetent presidencies in history? Or did you not consider Bush's first term to be legitimate due to the vote fraud?
- stevetrojanman, on 07/09/2008, -11/+14Welcome to the mindset of the liberal...
- stevetrojanman, on 07/09/2008, -6/+10It's an honor to share my status as a human with you...
/sarcasm - an0nymous, on 07/09/2008, -6/+10"Expect a lot more time wasting ***** after Obama is elected."
Wait... did you just concede the election? So why do you, loyal Republican, think McCain will not be elected? - Ozzsanity, on 07/09/2008, -3/+6Bad idea, I don't want to ever see this mans name again after he leaves office. Well maybe just one more time when they announce that he is dead.
- blanketfury, on 07/09/2008, -4/+7That's the corporate headquarters
- Greengoo, on 07/09/2008, -4/+7The problem here is that, like him or not, enough people in this country voted for him to put him there. You want to trace the source of the problem? Talk to the religious right.
- DaDrake, on 07/09/2008, -1/+4McCain said our presence will be there for that long... and historically, he is right. Obviously, we still have bases in Japan and Germany while we don't interfere with any of their governments (in fact, when they closed one base in Germany near Lubek ... the local government petition the US to not move; fact is, small communities are dependent on US soldiers wasting their money at the Kinos over there).
- stevetrojanman, on 07/09/2008, -1/+4No...more likely to that gay dude, Pedro, from the Real World...
He was an icon for the people of San Fran. - Halligan, on 07/09/2008, -13/+16I agree with Brstilson - Sewage plants actually treat the waste to minimize damage. Something like a landfill would be more appropriate.
- omar199, on 07/09/2008, -0/+3US Capitol?
- mmmmmbiscuits, on 07/09/2008, -2/+5Are you new here? :-) Digg is filled with thousands of preening, prissy drama queens.
- Shaman760, on 07/09/2008, -0/+3A rendering plant would be more befitting. Sewage treatment plants denote hope for cleanliness. A rendering plant is just plain carnage.
- inactive, on 07/09/2008, -3/+5Welcome misinformed liberal. Tin foil hats are to the left. Please don't breed.
- stevetrojanman, on 07/09/2008, -3/+5...Said the juvenile geek
- levelred, on 07/09/2008, -2/+4proof I ask you my good man!
