- dsully215, on 11/26/2007, -2/+83Damn Easter Island Airlines always reroutes my luggage to the wrong place...
- Teej, on 11/26/2007, -1/+62Epic picture.
I think the best part is that the submitter's user name is "allaboutdatiki" - dillyhoo, on 11/26/2007, -7/+46Tiki's sportin' a 'stache...

- lscott, on 11/26/2007, -2/+30you bring me gum-gum?
- Xinareiaz, on 11/26/2007, -1/+19it looks...like an advertising attempt to me
- supercody, on 11/26/2007, -0/+16This was in Munich last year, I was there and saw it on my way to istanbul. I have some more photos on my cell phone that I took of it too. Its really cool to see that on here!
- noahhoward, on 11/26/2007, -1/+15I am not sure why everyone was so quick to bury you. That would not fit through a baggage carousel standing upright like that. I am also fairly certain that would be over the weight limit for checked baggage.
- chess10, on 11/26/2007, -3/+16That statue looks pretty ticked after he had to ride in sub-zero temps for 13 hours.
- heatman, on 11/26/2007, -0/+13...dammit I missed it on the pass, that's mine...errr...I can't reach, can you pull that down for me? Thanks.
- inactive, on 11/26/2007, -0/+11Wonderful. Now say something useful.
- cnt2infinity, on 11/26/2007, -0/+10Anyone know what airport that is?
- bradcrc, on 11/26/2007, -0/+9world's WORST smugglers.
- sykophant, on 11/26/2007, -0/+8It was some kind of advertising for Emirates Airlines last year: http://www.gwa.de/modules/news/index.php?&news_id= ...
The sticker on the Maoi says "Now more free luggage" - RichLatherX23, on 11/26/2007, -0/+8...you'd have 10 cents?
- subterfuge, on 11/26/2007, -0/+8shooped?*
- ChromaVita, on 11/26/2007, -0/+7You didn't know it was called a Baggage Carousel?
- acidbass, on 11/26/2007, -0/+7hes got a moustache too, must be Moai's french cousin.
- subterfuge, on 11/26/2007, -0/+6excuse me?
- mapryan, on 11/26/2007, -0/+5Munich
- DrTiki, on 11/26/2007, -0/+5I approve.
- subterfuge, on 11/26/2007, -1/+5no
- tcpip4lyfe, on 11/26/2007, -0/+4Im sure its not an actual statue. Its probably a novelty one made of foam or something. Also if you tip it on its side, it's really not much bigger than an average woman's suitcase.
- djSyndrome, on 11/26/2007, -1/+5SHOOT IT IN THE EYE
[/Gradius] - Dunge, on 11/26/2007, -1/+5because there's [pic] in the title
- defectDS, on 11/26/2007, -0/+4Why is this question asked in every other story on Digg? It's here on the front page because people collectively elected it to be so. Whining about it isn't going to make it go back into Upcoming or make it interest you any more than it already isn't. Don't like it? Bury it and move on.
With a great website comes popularity. Try and realize that Digg is no longer the little nerd haven that it used to be. Until that picture section comes in, you are going to have to deal with these stories. Until then, ignore it and move along. Please. - DrTiki, on 11/26/2007, -0/+4They wouldn't let me carry it on.
- Ibox, on 11/26/2007, -0/+3Yep, would never fit through the Carousel window from outside.
- RichLatherX23, on 11/26/2007, -0/+3It's amazing how much hollow fiberglass weighs.
- MagicCake, on 11/26/2007, -0/+3Too sexy?
- stevedclarke, on 11/26/2007, -0/+2What? And go against the strong and ingrained traditions of Digg? The horror.
- rebrane, on 11/26/2007, -0/+2Check the mustache.
- bakedpajamas, on 11/26/2007, -0/+2Love it.
- chodaboy, on 11/26/2007, -0/+2The curse kill the guy before he could make it down to baggage claim...
- jaynemother, on 11/26/2007, -1/+3You are correct sir.
- wedgemartin, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1You know they pressurize the baggage compartment underneath, and it doesn't get that cold. :) A lot of pets would be in bad shape if they didn't. It's the Jamaicans hitching a ride on the landing gear that don't make it.
- mexiguese, on 11/26/2007, -1/+2If there is anyone who believes this is was actually taken on as regular luggage, I can promise you that there is no way this would fit in the passage way for the carousel. They would put it through the over size area and it definitely would not be places on the carousel. Its a sweet pic though... I wonder what the advertisement is for?
- inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1Oh, Lordy . . . .
My comment was meant as a mild compliment, not a negative. But since you wish to be an ass . . . . If it is an actual statue, just how many Chilean, US and international laws would be broken by bringing this antiquity out of Chile and into the US? How would it fit through the luggage carousel wall openings? Where is the forklift to take it away? Etc. The photo ain't real, pal. You may now resume drooling in the corner. - inactive, on 11/27/2007, -0/+1It may well have been a novelty / gimmick although I still believe it to be a Photoshop product. An interesting image in any case.
- foodluver, on 11/26/2007, -0/+111 years old?
- djSyndrome, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1You're right! I guess my age is showing ^.^
- kenyan, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1You know what the hardest part of being Tiki is?
Mustache. - MagicCake, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1Hate it. >:(
- kaenbin, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1Mouth, when it shoots the rings.
- spyd3rweb, on 11/26/2007, -0/+1TSA would never allow this to fly.
- noahhoward, on 11/26/2007, -1/+1True it's possible but it's not as clear cut as MageLordy would like.
- Jumba990, on 11/26/2007, -1/+1Never knew carousels had the power to move such a mass.
- inactive, on 11/26/2007, -1/+0I pity whoever has to load the guy's luggage in the car.
