- KDX200rider, on 10/12/2007, -1/+36This story is a dupe, I read it on degg....
- radu79, on 10/12/2007, -3/+26Those brands are not illegal per se, at least not in their country.
Anyway, once a friend got some "Adidas" sport shoes, and soon after he went in the local park to play some football (Soccer). A few minutes after, once he hit the ball, his shoes kind of disaggregated. He was like, WTF, Adidas is a good brand. Then he looked closer and they were actually made by "Adidos"... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17Here you go!

- esquilax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10i literally laughed out loud when i saw some dudes selling watches on 6th Ave in NYC:
Swiss Navy
whoever came up with that one had a sense of irony. :) - mlwarrior, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9The kuma is not a brand rip off, it is just a joke. Trust me, you are wrong to use that as an example, the others maybe.
Kuma means bear in Japanese, and I'm sure that they just released it as a joke, not to rip off puma. Why else would they put a bear jumping like a puma? It's not like they tried very hard to make it look the same. - TheTaoOfBill, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10ill bet SQNY batterys work better than SONY batteries
- n8r0n, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Sorny

Panatronic - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8There's one in my bathroom, I'll go check to see if it's still working.
Edit: Yep, but I don't have a link for it. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Sounds more like they are ripping off coby.

- squishee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5It was "Panaphonic."

- juniorcosmonaut, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5you do realize everyone is just blocking you so we don't have to see you "hijack" a thread again,
...goodbye - transpot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Kuma means bear in Japanese
Pama means permed hair in Korean (derived from the English word permanent)
Zallbollae (as you see, it's actually candy not cigarette) = "I Will pass the exam" IN Korean (especially the Korea's SAT like test). - Alphateam, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Homer Rules!
- harmonica, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I had one of those watches for a while, it was a surprisingly good watch, and worked for a couple of years.
- Junrin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I saw a fake Sharpie marker called "Shankie" and of course I bought it!
- sunchild, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4My favorite was one I saw in Thailand. It was a backpack with 'The Mouth Face' printed next to the North Face logo.
- transpot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3more puma logo parodies

Dama = billiard ball
Pika = Pikachu.. - elnerdo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Soda's do it the best:
Mountain Lion
Dr. Pezzaz
etc. - Nekko17, on 10/12/2007, -6/+7Just to notify the public "Kuma" = "Bear" in Japanese.
I asked someone once, and they thought "Kuma" ment "Couch". Well... - Sube6491, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sadly, when I visited Romania (vacationing to visit my relatives), I saw most of these brands there. Plus I saw Pasanonic, and my friend has a Panasonic TV; I give him hell with that joke.
- Genthree, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Panasoanic.
- myshoeshurt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1SQNY wins.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Zallbollae is my favourite. It's about time to deconstruct so-called "brands"!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Sturdy exterior to prevent fall-apart!
- ronaldpoi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Here in Peru we have one called "ADIBAS"... hehe...
- ZeroLogic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow.. and you thought the SONY batteries were dangerous.

- ricosalomar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I"I won't lie to you, those are all fine brands. But when you want the best, you want a Carnivale"
- MrTea, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I recall a number of individuals in elementary school wearing "Adiaas" brand jackets. The little mountain logo was also iterated backwards. (Instead of the bars going from small to big they went big to small.)
- AngryBacon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1No digg for the submit to Netscape button.
Can someone please fix the spell checker? It recognizes Netscape, but not digg! - unixbob71, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I woder how many mean "human dong" in a foreign language"
- Nekko17, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Of course. I didn't get where I am today by telling people they were right.
- Klaumbaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1When i was in the ARMY during Christmas in the mid 90's, the border patrol confiscated a full semi full of "Conserve" "With Star" (knockoff of converse all stars) in El Paso.
Converse and the border patrol arranged to distribute them to the poor in the El Paso area after we blacked the logo's out. - noamsml, on 10/12/2007, -6/+7I used to have loads of socks from Hike. I don't think we bought them because of the Nike connection, they were just cheap.
- prockcore, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1diqq.com has address 212.227.34.3
- BrandKnewMe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I see most of those every day. I live in Taiwan *L*
- t3hX, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Heh, Toby rips off Coby who rip off Sony.

http://bootleg.altarbeast.com/ - xtalman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've been told there are children's toys of the brand "0937".
Turn it upside down and it reads "LEGO" -
