Forget Digg. Get flamed ‘in style’ at StumbleUpon
nowsourcing.com — Surely, if you have ever posted anything to Digg that didn ’t make the front page, you’ve been hit with comments such as lame, fail, old news, or something like that - but wait till you see the comments on StumbleUpon.
- 322 diggs
- digg it
- GerryBot, on 10/10/2007, -3/+20Yeah, Digg needs to give us a way to bury posts in style. S'pose you could leave a comment, but that big red thumbs down in SU is brilliant.
- nowsourcing, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1that would be a much needed improvement. and how about the whole sorting by date just to reply to comments thing? Even Netscape/Propeller can do that.
- desigu, on 10/11/2007, -2/+101When I have about 5 free minutes, I almost always click on the "stumble!" button on my Firefox tool bar. and I'm very rarely disappointed.
in fact, I think I'll do it right now.
See? I just found something that's a mesmerizing as 3d pips used to be
http://www.dhteumeuleu.com/dhtml/rotate3D.html- clemdionisio, on 10/11/2007, -3/+40This is better than the actual article
- Azimuth1, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11It actually made me go "whoaaa..." aloud.
- nowsourcing, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3nice find, desigu
- habitat2050, on 10/11/2007, -0/+18I give it 2 days and this is on the front page.
- Sil369, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Fun for maybe 6 seconds.
- SamKellett, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Draw lines downward on the left slowly, do this 3 times and you have DNA
- rspeed, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Three times? DNA is a double-helix.
- Terr01, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1He's an infectee! Alert Threshold right now!
- rspeed, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Three times? DNA is a double-helix.
- JK124, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This article was dugg for your link!
- rinocom, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I want a "stumble!" button for my browser!
- samBAKER, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6I wouldn't say Digg is THAT bad, it is very funny to watch flame wars though.
- mattsw84, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Or start them and then leave.
- TannerC, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5desigu FTW.
- Juditt, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I love it-- ""get flamed "in style."" When flaming gets classy, as it were.
- sobe86, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Yeah I use stumbleupon, and I definitely let it be known when I think a page submitted was not so great.
- theinept, on 10/11/2007, -4/+24Hey, it works here too just in a different way, see:
Thanks for posting your ***** blogspam, which serves no other purpose than to get unsuspecting diggers to visit your crummy website. It's a story about how a few smart people had the guts to tell you that your previous post was a lame, formulaic waste of bytes, which is not coincidentally true of this post as well. If you want people to visit your site and make you advertising dollars, then try posting something that will interest them. Coming soon: "Forget Reddit. Get flamed "in style" at digg."- merreborn, on 10/18/2007, -2/+13Seriously, this jack-off submits a crappy personality test to stumble upon, someone takes the time to tell him just how crappy it is, he cries about it on his blog, and then submits *that* to digg?
Thanks for wasting my time.- acatzr800, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0It wasn't him that submitted hotshot. If this is such a waste of your time, why waste even more telling us how much of a waste it is?
- merreborn, on 10/18/2007, -2/+13Seriously, this jack-off submits a crappy personality test to stumble upon, someone takes the time to tell him just how crappy it is, he cries about it on his blog, and then submits *that* to digg?
- yaaqov, on 10/18/2007, -1/+2From my own experiences, the comments from StumbleUpon users (both positive and negative) are usually of a much higher quality than those of Digg users. Of course, I say that as a Digg user, myself. :-P Nevertheless...
- picsectionpleez, on 10/10/2007, -5/+3Dude you are a total f***** idiot and deserve to go frolic in traffic in your underwear.
/sarcasm - Shandooga, on 10/10/2007, -11/+5Diggers hate me and Stumblers hate me too. Frankly, I'd be concerned if my point of view were approved by the great unwashed. It would be completely without value, then. It doesn't take a genius to follow the crowd; indeed, quite the opposite.
- Neiby, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Genius? Maybe, maybe not. Arrogant? Definitely.
- ArchieAndrews, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Yeah, that's it. Keep telling yourself that...
- scabbers, on 10/10/2007, -5/+12Wow, what a waste of my ***** time. Now people are submitting posts based on other people's ***** posts and the ***** responses to them. Go and anger some bees. If social networking results in endless navel-gazing and a looping circle-jerk of pointless links to no content *****, I'll go back to 1997 and search some "warez sites". I hope your e-penis falls off - or if you're really a girl, that your box turns orange.
- tizz66, on 10/10/2007, -5/+2***** YOU!
(Come on, keep it going) - rejoined, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Your Post = That's what the article all about
- scabbers, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1O RLY
- milliamp, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0They let you surf the internet in anger management?
- tizz66, on 10/10/2007, -5/+2***** YOU!

- jordan314, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2why make diggbait if your server can't handle the load?
http://duggmirror.com - urbandistrict, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3So if I am reading right someone is posting "Forget Digg" on Digg...
Stumble Upon theese nuts. - Trollmaster, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3fail.
- tehjarvis, on 10/11/2007, -0/+9This article was such a piece of ***** that I printed it off, burned it and ate the ashes. Then I took a massive dump in a canister of battery acid and had the canister jettisoned into space.
- nowsourcing, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1mirror: http://nowsourcing.wordpress.com/2007/10/10/forget ...

- shark615, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Buried for lameness++
Seriously, stupid "article", horrible blog not to mention the content, design and ... ***** just horrible. - BartTheBear, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1NowSourcing...I guess you just have to know him, which I am guessing most of you "cranially challenged" assholes don't. Brian is brilliant and bordering on insanity.
- Typhoon2009, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Register on myg0t's forums and post either "hackers are gay" or "can i have an aimbot pls"
- daye, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I am a paid user of StumbleUpon, but what's interesting is that I stopped using it almost the same time I made the payment. I don't think I will renew.
- Scorps111, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1EPIC FAIL!
You are about as entertaining as watching grass grow in a windowbox. What do you do for a living? You are living, aren't you? There's nothing wrong with you that couldn't be cured with a little Prozac and a polo mallet, or, better yet, suicide. Maybe you wouldn't read like such a pathetic loser if you weren't intellectually slower than a herd of turtles stampeding through a vat of chunky peanut butter; if your weren't so fat that when you walk down the street, everyone yells "Earthquake!", or if you didn't have a face that makes your dentist treat you by mail-order. Nah, of course you would.
To sum up: I'd rather pass the world's largest kidney stone than read another post from you. - coldshuts, on 10/21/2007, -1/+1Lame, buried as such.
- Anglemona, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Surely, I like dugg that is very good.
