- Paktu, on 10/10/2007, -5/+67*****...not f*cked. We're not in the fourth grade (well, most of us)...
- SlamShut, on 10/10/2007, -1/+48This goes back to at least the 1950s. My father used to hand this out (or one exactly like it) on mimeograph sheets to newbies in the US Army Corps of Engineers. Probably goes back even further than that, because my father said it was something that was on the wall in Thomas Edison's office. Don't know how true that was, though.
- maz2331, on 10/19/2007, -4/+50Ancient. I first saw it in 1987 when I was in the Air Force.
- dantidote, on 10/10/2007, -0/+32My roomate has this on his wall. I'm kinda surprised I've seen something in real life before seeing it on digg.
- Philodox, on 10/10/2007, -0/+23Not to mention that he used the uncensored "*****" in the summary. Why not just put it in the title?
- crazzy88ss, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17this is a rip off of the one with boxes.
- thailand1972, on 10/10/2007, -0/+13Old - cave paintings show very similar flow diagrams, about what to do when hunting trips go wrong.
- parkermauney, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Apparently, I'm a poor *****.
- 0rion16, on 10/10/2007, -3/+11*Stolen from Cheney's book "How to cover your ass, and clean your hands"
- gordeaoux, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7But we wouldn't want anyone to get the vapors! Or (god forbid) clutch their pearls! (monacle dropping is, however, acceptable.)
- skrshawk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Buried as lame - this has been around so many places and this revision is certainly not original.
- crapmatic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3My dad had a copy of this on his wall when he was in the Air Force in the mid or late 1970s. (nod to SlamShut)
- snurfle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Greetings, msaleem, and welcome to the internet. Since this is obviously your first time here, please allow me to show you around.
After this flow chart, you may want to search for the hampster dance, the kickboxing leg break video, and the live video from the haunted kitchen... Those will help ease you in to the fast lane of the information superhighway.
Good luck! - tlo182, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4nice! this thing is great, i remember when i first saw one a few years back....a more simple one:
http://fatpita.net/funpic/problemsolving.jpg - Skanadian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I predict this will get over 1000 diggs. Buried because it's so ***** old and this guy blatantly copied it.
- tritiumpie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Favorite flow:
Is it ***** up? Yes
Did you ***** with it? No
Don't ***** with it. Problem solved. - CritterNYC, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I prefer it with music:
http://*****.ytmnd.com/ - cowcowmoomoo1, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3Search BoingBoing some more, and you'll find a bunch more similar flowcharts, for about a week they posted a lot of them. Some are even more funny than this one
- TexanPsycho, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Actually, that's how it is on Boing Boing.
- scrag10, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Darth Vadar can't handle all this hatred
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1If I could get my customers to follow this, it would make my life SO much easier.
- theonlywizdum, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I read "Antarctica" Last week, thought that seemed awfully familiar.
- archimago42, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I like how the creator of that one got busted in the comments right below it for ripping it off. They even included a scan of the original! Ouch.
- MagicCake, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Did Unthar kill mammoth? Yes/No
- crossmr, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1its amazing how complete and utter random BS can get dugg up so high....
- tarheelcoxn, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0If you'd bothered to read my blog post in which I originally posted my version, you'd note that I admit I'm not the originator of the idea. Furthermore, I asked people to point me to the original and I followed up by writing a letter to the author of "Antarctica" (Kim Stanley Robinson) asking him if leaving my version up on the web was okay. I've yet to receive a reply.
Do you have something constructive to add or were you just here to snark? - Dundasbro, on 10/10/2007, -5/+4Man from the quality of most of the comments that are usually on here I think most of us diggers are in the fourth grade.
- SheilaNoya, on 10/10/2007, -5/+2Bush has a much simpler flow chart, it only has 2 solutions for every problem:
1. Blame Clinton and "liberals" for creating the problem
2. If you can't blame the problem on Clinton and/or liberals, then claim that a tax cut will solve the problem, then ignore the problem. - Elohir, on 10/10/2007, -6/+2Poop! Poopy poopy wee-wee and bums!
- openthink, on 10/10/2007, -11/+3great! really funny. just the sort of simple approach to problem-solving (or f**king up) we all need....
- nymphetamine, on 10/10/2007, -20/+6Congratulations!!!!
