If you have not started to learn language by that point it can be very hard to learn after that point. Three years old is an average and it can vary from person to person.

In other words it's accurate to say that "humanity" in people is not a "birthright" it is acquired, which also goes to say that we're social creatures; literally- part of who we are as animals is socially derivable, we're the only species with such a strong social element.
A feral human is an ape who's a little bit more intelligent than a bonobo, one who's raised amongst humans is about twice as intelligent than a bonobo and some of us (people) are actually smarter from the common man than he is from a bonobo.....gotta shows how strong the societal element is in our species (even high IQ people -were they to be raised in the wild- would have only part of their iq and -they- would be considered retarded).

It's a hypothesis because you can't ***** isolate a bunch of kids from society for 3 years in a clinical trial to see if they can acquire language. Do some research and you'll see that children simply cannot acquire language if they've received no introduction to it prior to 4 years of age, this has been demonstrated by many, many case studies. At best, she'll acquire a very limited vocabulary but will never be able to formulate sentences properly.
This phenomenon can also be observed in the dramatic difference in brain activity between someone who has acquire a language prior to 4 years and someone who's acquired it after.
