Except for Muslim women: the rules don't apply to them. Way I figure, if that rule doesn't apply, neither should the one that lets you operate a motor vehicle. Religious sensibility is nice and all, but not at the sake of basic safety precautions :/

OK, fair enough if you want to wear one, as long as you aren't being forced, but it could literally be anyone under there. Maybe the police or other agencies who may need to inspect ID could just let female officers check the person in private to see if they match the ID, and have the ID photo taken in private.
I've been thinking about founding my own parody religion, along similar lines to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster, called the Cult of the Brown Paper Bag. The idea is, we campaign for the right to be allowed to wear a brown paper bag on our heads (eyeholes optional) at all times, including in photographic ID such as driving licenses. Access to drivers license information or ID info is restricted on a need to know basis. Police are not even supposed to access the information unless they have a reason. It's that way to protect battered spouses.
But I don't need every bar I go to keeping a record of my visit especially without posted policy for use of that data. No one needs to keep a record of how many times I go to a strip club a month or if I like to stop at the bar every Tuesday.

- PhillyMJS, on 08/16/2008, -0/+21IMHO New Jersey had the easiest licenses to fake until a couple years ago, when they finally changed them from the kind in the picture to something much more difficult to counterfeit. The old ones didn't even have a mag strip or bar code.
Long ago, when I was young, foolish, and under 21 myself, I made a few bucks doing passable fakes from scratch for not-quite-21 friends and acquaintances.
