- fredmv, on 04/30/2008, -1/+9Pretty damned true video. I deleted my Facebook account quite a while ago (ashamed to even admit I had one). For those considering deleting it, go ahead and do it; it's the smart thing to do. But be warned, even if you get rid of your account, you're only "disabling" it. Therefore you must sabotage the data (I just changed everything to "null" or "void" or just deleted it altogether), deleted all of your uploaded images, and then disable it, rendering your information useless to Facebook.

When I walk by the internet pods at my uni, 90% of the people are checking their Myspace page. How about some real social networking instead of vying for the most "friends"? Myspace, Facebook, etc. are pretty much WoW for non-geeks.
