http://www.dominomag.com/daily/blogs/dailydose/2007/04/just_the_facts.html - abaybas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15So does the ingredients include the ingredients of the label itself?
I have been waiting for a way to explain recursion using cookies. Awesome. - TonyTheTerrible, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9a lot of fat and sugar. give it here!
- Akaji, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7As much as I love this idea (I think more things need very visible nutrition facts, especially fast food - I haven't eaten at McDonald's since their double cheeseburger packaging told me about the 50-ish grams of fat, over 10 grams of saturated fat, and about 10 billion calories that it has), I'm scared to know what I've been eating...
- firearcade, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7i guess thats the way the cookie crumbles
- supremesonic, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Yes, it'll blend. Now can that overused joke die already? Preferably by being blended.
- doshindude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5that would be damn hard to read on spaghetti....
- JonnyTrombone, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5@dpack1: every Consumerist article I've seen is like this- crappy blogspam. Why do people digg this, instead of the original?
- greenlight2001, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I'm a little slow.... so can someone explain to me the whole "#657493023232422" crap after the "@whoever"? Seems to be done automatically, at least that's what I gather from my own postings. Thanks.
- cissystrut, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5When there's a cookie in my hand, the last thing I want to do is calculate something.
- GuillaumeTell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I would guess that it's printed on rice paper which is then set in the frosting.
Edible, printable rice paper:

edible ink:
http://www.bakingshop.com/cakes/edibleink.htm - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3i figured most companies would make an attempt to hide the nutritional information as much as possible!

greasemonkey script for nested comments. works great! - Surreal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think the t-shirt in the post is an equally cool idea. I know of sustainable and labor-rights focused clothing companies before, but it's pretty neat to have the facts on a shirt.
- airwalkery2k, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I would have preferred maybe a picture of an animal, or maybe Santa if it were around Christmas. But this is just as adorable and totally does not have a 1984 distopia-feeling.
- attention, on 10/12/2007, -0/+113 grams of fat? wtf is in that! thats a fattening cookie for its size.
- MichelleLDevon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I don't know why I find that amusing, but I do...LOL
- Retuow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1As seen on Gizmodo earlier.. http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/gadgets/helpful-cookies-have-nutrition-info-printed-up-front-254768.php
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Try this greasemonkey script:

As bad as it was, I think dorxincandeland was making a joke... - LogicBomB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It would be hilarious if a lot of the bad nutrition in the cookie came from the frosting label :)
- CrazyRussian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1at least it has no Trans Fat
- catalysis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1And we wonder why there's an obesity epidemic? You don't calculate a nutrition label.
- lcmatt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1@mmortal03 (#6344034)
Its just icing sugar which has black food colouring for the text. - Beaver6813, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1To be honest its a cookie for Gods sake, i mean if its out of a packet i'll read it on the packet if its just from a bakery of whatever its probably only a few and i really couldn't care less as long as it doesn't contain radioactive material.
- gogog0, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1i would like to punch half of the people that made comments on that site.
- imacashew, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0that's.....pretty much what's gotten America's obese population where it is today....
- imacashew, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0well, there are plenty of times that I've picked up food items (other than cookies) and thaught..."you know...I have no idea what I'm eating" exactly how much dietary fiber is in an apple? pear? watermelon? I don't feel like looking that ***** up either...
- glacialjade, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ok, that is just nuts....what's next ??
Besides, if it tastes good I don't think many will care what the edible label says.... - mmortal03, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1It looks like there is a label attached to it instead of it being printed on the cookie. There are rounded corners visible in two places that look like it is a label, not actually on the cookie. I am not trying to be skeptical, because I think it is a cool idea, but does anyone have a better pic?
- waleeper, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0This is a very disturbing trend in the Food industry. There are no long term studies on the affects of food coloring in food and some recent studies have linked it to ADHD.
Maybe a warning like cigarettes is needed. WARNING: Eating this product may cause Hyperactivity.
Of course, you could just eat the warning too. - CapeKid, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I don't know whether to digg you up because I agree with you or digg you down because that joke is lame.
I'm so conflicted. - Langford, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1It probably won't effect flavor at all, but I'd be willing to agree that it does look unappetizing.
- abid786, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2@dorxincandeland (#6330495)
Does it really matter once it is in your stomach? - dorxincandeland, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1so is that the top of the cookie or the bottom?
- ace87, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3what a way to ruin a good tasting cookie.
- tdlrali, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1It looks like the picture was enhanced using Adobe® Photoshop® software.
- drewhenson, on 10/12/2007, -20/+2but will it blend?
