C) No mainstream media outlet anywhere in the world had this... and this news agency in Bolivia thinks they're breaking news on this?
Add to this the two things mentioned in the blurb for this story and you have to shake your head in disbelief.
There are so many questions that could and should have been asked before running with these photos.
Just applying a little common sense would have prevented this news agency from making a giant fool of themselves globally.

The giveaway that they were from Lost, other than Kate and her US Marshall escort in the seats in front of the camera, was a big ol Oceanic logo on the tail section clearly visible through the hole in the plane.

A woman I work with was convinced it was from digital camera and someone took the photo before getting sucked out of the plane. Somehow the digital camera survived a 1,000 or more foot plunge into salt water, she told me, without the memory card getting totally eaten by the salt. I directed her to snopes.com.
