- Puppetfunk, on 10/10/2007, -4/+115The title is a little misleading, I thought It meant that a dog was feeding HUMAN children.
- CaptainSponge, on 10/10/2007, -4/+78The sad thing is that there are humans out there who wouldn't make the same effort for their kids... nice story.
- rebo2, on 10/10/2007, -1/+52Dogs have puppies, not cubs, amirite? I knew all that education would pay off someday!
- vroom101, on 10/10/2007, -3/+37Been thinking about this story, and the pictures too. Sometimes the uncomplaining, unselfish way animals go about dealing with life, and it's often a harsh and dangerous life too, just puts us humans to shame. I, for one, find the story...well...inspiring and I'm glad it's on DIGG.com.
- krolm, on 10/10/2007, -15/+38they didn't eat the dog yet?
- nreynolds, on 10/10/2007, -8/+27uhm.... i'm pretty sure most people would walk 4km a day to save their children if they were starving and couldn't feed themselves... maybe a freak or two wouldn't, but I don't count freaks.
- thedarkrabbit, on 10/10/2007, -3/+21Puppies.... NOT children...
- teddtech, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16@Threlly..Not everyone in China eats cat and dog. Thats like saying all American people are fat...
...oh ummm - JasonCox, on 10/10/2007, -1/+15Dugg because the series of tubes now says dogs have cubs.
- SpaceMonkeyZero, on 10/10/2007, -2/+16The Ham Beasts in Wal*Mart will drive their scooters 4km to give their kids 2 pounds of mac and cheese a day.
- seancurran, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11You think that's Bad... I though THe dog was feeding Human Children... to her new born cubs! Now that's News ;p)
- frozenyoghurt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Good Girl.
- Vitaliy, on 10/10/2007, -5/+16... then they ate the dog to celebrate it.
- rabidg00se, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9i'm sure being korean tastes just like being any other nationality, don't worry about it.
- EHWhat, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10Yeah it is a bit misleading without the description i thought it was Dog the Bounty Hunter Feeding random Human children in hawaii
(actually i was hoping it was that) - SpaceMonkeyZero, on 10/10/2007, -3/+11BREAKING: Chinese Villagers Amazed at Dog's Instincts!
- Shaboobalaboopy, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10Read his description dude. It's not that bad. At least there wasn't AMAZING or any of that other *****.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7All the cats aren't gone yet..
- spxiii, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Dog: "I take care of my kids!"
Chris Rock: "You're supposed to ya dumb muthaf*cka!" - nesibus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Poor dog, I feel bad for it having to do that, its sad that people beat animals like this.
This shows the dedication and love that they can have, they should bring its pups closer to it, instead of making it go through all of this. - kmb1794, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7The sad thing is they call puppies cubs.
- BeefBaron, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8Nice to see an animal story on digg that isnt about poor pets being brutally tortured or deep fried for once. Please stop with those.
- dpdesign, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6@nreynolds:
Did you miss the story about the couple who played so much D&D that their children lived covered in ***** and nearly starved to death? - Tivor, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8If it was Korea, they'd be eaten by now.
(And I can say that, because I'm Korean) - mccrusc, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8PETA is a propaganda machine, not a trusted source. Also, Caring about animals doesn't give you permission to be a xenophobe. There are many vegan/vegetarians in china too - your beloved PETA probably has an office there. Apparently this guy cared enough about animals to notice this dog.
- mushoo, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7So this is what animals have to do in order to gain the sympathy of people in China? Great, now PETA has to go out and teach all the other animals to do stuff like this, then get noticed, and have someone post it on the web, in order for these animals to not be brutalized or made into belts.
- Ibox, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Deep fried puppies? No DIGG!
- seancurran, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7Maybe the Chinese will sympathize with PETA and eat PETA members instead
- xmkatx, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5That was sweet. I was happy to read that article. Usually stories about animals in China aren't .... so.... happy.
- feckineejit, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4http://www.weirdasianews.com
guangdong province is where they eat the weird stuff. - dcormann, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5http://www.atourhands.com/dogchina.html
http://www.aapn.org/fooddogs.html
Seriously google something like before thinking this isn't true. - alexkorova, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Check your own backyard before you start spitting things like that, do you know how the US treats cows? Or say, chickens? Just because you have a cultural attachment to certain animals, doesn't mean anybody else doesn't have a cultural attachment to animals you are treating worse than broken furniture.
- m0tbaillie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Digging YOU down for ruining a feel-good thread after I just read a thread about a kitten getting it's eyes spray-painted shut. GTFO.
- sticksnstones, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Millions, probably billions of humans live uncomplaining lives of quiet desperation. You don't hear about them.
- insanebrain, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4-"I thought ...."
assumption is the mother of all ***** - bobdobolena, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Chicken, of course.
- soulonice, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3what a sweetheart!
- cs02rm0, on 10/10/2007, -0/+32km x 2 = 4km a day
- sticksnstones, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Who translated this? They aren't children or cubs as the article states. They are puppies.
Also, She is a bitch, not a "mom". - VeganG, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Don't be so sure, nreynolds. Kids these days might as well simply be considered "roommates of the parents" for the amount of attention that they get.
- Gella321, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I read Dog Swims 4km a day to feed ON children. I was let down.
- 0zzy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3It's the dog's children isn't it?
- rabidg00se, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2not to ruin the feeling, but...it's a dog. some of them are pretty smart (compared to other dogs), but it's almost a certainty that even the most intelligent of them lack the ability to even understand the concepts of complaint and selfishness when it comes to their children. it's all instinctual.
after saying that though, i agree that perhaps if humans were the same way, the world would be a better place. - noch, on 10/10/2007, -3/+5Wow . . . how many ignoramuses are gonna comment on eating dogs?
- peterzero, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2It is easier to swim down the stream. That is why she enters from west and exit to the east.
- m0tbaillie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Mmmm hush puppies =)
- rhkenji, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2corny. and I'm not Korean.
- jthomp, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Great story. Hopefully they'll be able to find them a good home.
- pumpedvideo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Don't believe those news from China. They have been faking these heart warming news for age to grab reader
- mdmadph, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Because she's a goddamn dog and can't use online maps? Just a thought.
