Adblock plus add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/186 ...
Just trying to help out :) - megashaun, on 01/29/2008, -5/+590I looked for a red thumbs down to click over that ad.
- FadieZ, on 01/29/2008, -2/+529Fine print:
" *Pictures taken 87 years apart. " - Civil44, on 01/29/2008, -21/+388***** ad's like this should be illegal
- fatassn, on 01/29/2008, -6/+308Simulated imagery for the lose.
- carpespasm, on 01/29/2008, -1/+291i'd unblock the ads if we could digg on them.
- grondin, on 01/29/2008, -4/+230"simulated imagery" - demand real imagery!
- chingy1788, on 01/29/2008, -0/+222hmm
diggers should be able to dugg or bury ads so better ads can be put on the digg website - nymphetamine, on 01/29/2008, -3/+132I have a sudden craving for some jerky...
- Fracture98, on 01/29/2008, -1/+120My biggest question is, "What useless marketing department thinks the Digg demographic is 80-year-old women shopping for wrinkle cream?"
- tutivlahos, on 01/29/2008, -1/+118Even worse:
http://img508.imageshack.us/img508/3622/75757967vl ... - Conwaysb0718, on 01/29/2008, -0/+105and we'd be doing the marketing team for xyz product a great service at the same time... so digg could charge even more for companies to advertise... you may be on to something my friend.
- eridius, on 01/29/2008, -6/+105Inappropriate apostrophes should be illegal
- bagelpirate, on 01/29/2008, -2/+95The right side of that granny's face is smokin'.
- tutivlahos, on 01/29/2008, -0/+88Next thing you know, we'll be seeing a Goatse photo for some hemorrhoids treatments.
- paulzov, on 01/29/2008, -1/+84WAIT A MINUTE- by using this cream, our fine, smooth skin turns into wrinkles?
Jeez, next thing you know, they'll be making a religion about aliens. - MagnumVP, on 01/29/2008, -1/+82If that was the case then you would only see ads for Ron Paul, Apple, adorable kittens, Anonymous, kewl things that are photoshopped, and reactions to 2 Girls 1 Cup.
- chingy1788, on 01/29/2008, -1/+79usually the before comes on the left and the after comes on the right
- jlewicki, on 01/29/2008, -0/+78more like before and after a nuclear blast
- Eivo, on 01/29/2008, -1/+67I didn't know wrinkle cream could ***** CHANGE YOUR HAIR COLOR!!!!
http://img406.imageshack.us/img406/6976/thiskp6.jp ... - teamr, on 01/29/2008, -7/+73Well, SOMEBODY has to look at the ads. If nobody did then what company would pay to put their ***** there? Digg doesn't run on dreams, you know
- nico623, on 01/29/2008, -2/+66I bet that cream that tightens your face ends up making people look like Clayface from Batman.
- gharding, on 01/29/2008, -2/+62No *****. It runs on unicorn farts.
- sockpuppets, on 01/29/2008, -2/+59She's the villain in Batman III.
- Ramzy, on 01/29/2008, -12/+67What ads?
http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/9476/adsug3.jpg - Spudster, on 01/29/2008, -2/+56So apparently geeks are a large segment of the anti aging market...
- McHoffa, on 01/29/2008, -1/+52obviously not
http://img152.imageshack.us/img152/5283/wtfdiggli4 ... - inactive, on 01/29/2008, -2/+50You need to turn over when you lie in the sun!
- sockpuppets, on 01/29/2008, -1/+44They'd ask to go to the Country Kitchen buffet.
- inactive, on 01/29/2008, -0/+42I also love Olay commercials, selling wax to women for 40 bucks a tube by using made up medical sounding words like "Regenerist"
- blackmage439, on 01/29/2008, -3/+43AdBlock FTW. Showing me ads is a privilege, and any site with reasonable ads gets to display them. However, anytime I see one of those disgusting Botox, anti-acne, iPod, or gawker artists ads with the ***** dude coming out of a dead guy's chest, I just block it. If I don't see it, I don't even care. Large white spaces where nasty ads used to be bring a smile to my face.
- turbopro, on 01/29/2008, -1/+40That zit ad and now this is the last thing I wanna see after dinner.
- Smills, on 01/29/2008, -3/+41"Shampoo" Demand real poo!
(I am a bit drunk so this is probably not as funny as it seems, sorry) - lukasm, on 01/29/2008, -0/+33that's a skinned version of xp by the looks of it actually.
- wildfire, on 01/29/2008, -2/+35You guys just don't appreciate the sexual abilities of an older woman.
If only those wrinkles could talk... - rayraym0fucka, on 01/29/2008, -1/+33shoulda kept quiet and wrote that down and mailed it to yourself... then told kevin about it ;p
- Enendar, on 01/29/2008, -0/+32Yeah but at least we would click on them instead of installing adblocker. When digg had google ads I'd actually look at them, now I just block the site because they're to annoying.
- jonshipman, on 01/29/2008, -2/+33pipe up sonny! I needs me wrinkle creme!
and lolcats - espek, on 01/29/2008, -5/+34And we should lock-up people that don't punctuate their sentences.
- leftcoastfunk, on 01/29/2008, -13/+42I agree. Seriously people. Most of us have never even seen any of these crappy ads. Get FF and AB+ and quit whining if they bother you so much!
- Navicerts, on 01/29/2008, -0/+26Right side of her face, not the picture.
- Dokument, on 01/29/2008, -1/+26you can sell reactions to 2g1c? awesome
- IADTatami, on 01/29/2008, -1/+26They can't talk, but they do collect particles. Betcha if you slapped her hard enough you could smell what she did yesterday.
- merripen, on 01/29/2008, -1/+26Come on guys. If it's good enough for the Crypt Keeper, it's good enough for you.
- BossKeyy, on 01/29/2008, -2/+24Let's not forget about those scoundrels who begin sentences with conjunctions, because we all know Digg comments should be written formally!
- 10goto10, on 01/29/2008, -3/+25Dermitage.com? Pfff. I use BangBus.comâ„¢ to unwrinkle parts of MY body.
- Dokument, on 01/29/2008, -0/+22yeah i actually scrolled down when i saw that one on here. Its just gross, makes me want to get away from it , not click on it.
- cJw314, on 01/29/2008, -4/+24Ads for the lose... learn to use your browser. :>
- dood, on 01/29/2008, -1/+20It's one thing to have generic every day ads, but this ad is particularly insulting. This company expects us to believe that they have a magic cream that can remove all wrinkles. Digg might as well have penis enlargement pill ads. It's all the same thing: 100% *****.
I usually only block ads if they are offensive or annoying, because at that point I can safely assume that the site's owner does not care one way or another about the quality of their site. Not to be melodramatic about it, but with this and the zit one, I am awfully close to hitting the ABP here. - anotherjeff, on 01/29/2008, -0/+19what you dont see is the nails and staples fastening the excess skin behind her head
