- triplexpac, on 10/12/2007, -2/+51Forgot to mention the "I, for one, welcome our ____ overlords" and "1) x 2)??? 3) profits!!!"
- tont0r, on 10/12/2007, -2/+45you could have figured all this out in about 3 days of digg.
- sdfghjkl, on 10/12/2007, -2/+42He missed the fact that Digg likes blogspam considering the quantity that hits the front page.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+43"Site Fastest To Die: Wordpress Blogs, seriously I have never actually seen what this website looks like."
Hahaha, that is so true! - anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -4/+37I'm sorry, that's not a hair question.
- DiggsOnlyNeoCon, on 10/12/2007, -7/+37Can't believe "Richard Dawkins" got left off of things Digg likes.
- royceguy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+30I thought the author asked for an explanation in English?
:-/ - rudy23, on 10/12/2007, -2/+29once you get your much wanted picture section no ones gonna care about it.

o/ - rds260, on 10/12/2007, -4/+28The dirty little secret is the tubes that Gore invented to create the internet are overheating and are causing global warming.
- rstarr, on 10/12/2007, -3/+25The video section also like hustles, Rahzel, physics demos, Family Guy clips, and Top Gear.
- spyd3rweb, on 10/12/2007, -12/+32no one is allowed to hate Al Gore, its blasphemy, he invented the internets!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+23One other thing that Digg doesn't like is religion (Specially Christianity), and of course one thing Digg really like is Richard Dawkins.
another love hate thing on Digg is HDR pictures. - ShuttleDisaster, on 10/12/2007, -1/+19good article. however, you forgot "Pics or it didn't happen"
- NoOneButMe, on 10/12/2007, -5/+21Arent those stolen slashdottism's though?

/Ha ha ha! - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+20Diggers definitely love conspiracy theories, especially about how the US Gov. did 9/11. It's gospel truth.
Until it hits the main page, then diggers (trying to hide the truth) hate it and insta-bury it.
/sarcasm - jonathan4465, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14I'm with him on the Top Ten lists. Seriously, form January 1st up until about January 21st I must have seen a hundred "TopTen" lists make the front page of Digg. "Top Ten Wii games for 2007", "Top Ten Art Bell Predictions for 2007" etc. etc. All that was missing was "Top Ten Top Ten lists for 2007"
- holzp, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16Digger's also do not like bad punctuation.
- VANOS, on 10/12/2007, -1/+14He forgot a few:
"But does it run linux?"
"In before..."
and of course:

░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ - RuffRidr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Good blog. I agree wholeheartedly about the threaded replies. It would make discussions so much easier to follow.
I think the private messages would be kinda cool too. But I can see this as an avenue for abuse. You'd probably see more concerted efforts to Digg Up/Down certain types of stories. - alpinestarless, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12One thing you're learning now is digg effect :)
- geminitojanus, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13For that matter, so is "In Soviet Russia".
- Fjinks, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11"A little summary of what I have learned about Digg."
In soviet russia, Digg learns about YOU! - jonellison13, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10right-wing-fundamentalist-political-christians VS. RIAA
who does Digg hate more? - dignews, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Actually I think that http://www.digg.com/videos/comedy/Bart_Simpson_s_Heart_Attack has more Digg downs
- kevincupp, on 10/12/2007, -9/+17But will it blend?
- euphemizeme, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10You forgot:
Articles about digg
and:
companies, we're - TekMuzik, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10I just signed up today, and already read several hundred Linux Vs Microsoft comments.
- xxNIRVANAxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I thought we liked Ted Stevens? He put the series of tubes into perspectives for us.
- deadi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Net Neutrality.
Basically the Telcos want to enable "Quality of Service" traffic filtering. What that boils down to is they want to prioritize certain packets to pass through there network quicker which also means that any packet that doesn't have a QOS flag will have to wait for the packets that do pass. It restricts packets. I understand they want customers to pay for the service they want to use, like Skype or IPTV or online games etc. The money they make from this will pay for equipment upgrades. I am against this as everything works just fine the way it is.
A little info:

Some reading:
http://www.dslreports.com/shownews/82166 - burnblue, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Though the Microsoft / Vista stuff is true, I've recently been seeing a fair amount of backlash (especially at the iPhone) where Diggers are refusing to subscribe to a cult-like Apple mindset.
- AeonTorpor, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7"Arent those stolen slashdottism's though?"
It's the internet, were you expecting something original? - YHCIR, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7You missed people that:
Talk Like This, And So On, Which Is Really Stupid. - ArmyOfFun, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Along with threading, I'd like if digg could show (like slashdot does) when someone replies to one of your comments. Checking back on a thread to see if anyone replied to you is a totally manual (and PITA process) right now.
- robz0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Ironic.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6I havelearned that no matter how inane it is, if you are a diary entry about Digg, it will make the front page.
- waterdrop, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5@ M2ys4U
No, Digg hates Christianity way more. - teresa73521, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5@M2ys4U
"Why was my comment buried? (seriously)"
because to digg it up would make me feel like i, too, hated islam .
plus, i see as many people attacking it as i see defending it, so i couldn't actually say that i think the majority of digg hates islam. - jeremy66158, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7"One thing I cant figure out:
Net Neutrality - Seriously, someone needs to sum this up to me in one paragraph."
The net is primarily accessed through ISPs and they want to control where you go on internet connection.
One sentence easy enough? - jspegele, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7It all makes sense now!
- M2Ys4U, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Actually, I'm sure Digg has already learnt a hell of a lot about us from our digging habits
- nickerbocker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I got caught in that fiasco on the second story. One has to wonder how that happens.
Edit: Beware...click on the second link and your browser will freeze trying to render it....soooo many Digg downs - OpenFuture, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Holy *****!
- KMartSheriff, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Thank you!!! Finally someone who agrees that Blogging sucks (yes, it does. No one reads your stupid blog. No one.)
- skymt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3http://www.savetheinternet.com/ has a 4-minute video that explains net neutrality. The actual explaination is over with before the 2-minute mark. It's a nice introduction to the concept if you're still confused.
- dignews, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Good list but I think that Digg shouldn't have a forum or private messaging though, because that will take people away from what Digg is made for, News.
