- inactive, on 11/06/2008, -3/+261this post reminds me of that time when that happened.
- Turambar, on 11/05/2008, -22/+212I believe that's "Yes, We Did!"
- inactive, on 11/06/2008, -1/+157was this really necessary? Im pretty sure we remember this. I mean it was oh lets see....last ***** night
- dvsbastard, on 11/06/2008, -1/+125Yeah... I remember it like it was yesterday...
- ryan83189, on 11/06/2008, -10/+129Damn, I hardly noticed the Obama support here on digg. Where were all of you at before he got elected? Talk about a bunch of band wagon supporters.
- vsujohn2, on 11/06/2008, -8/+79Ok. Lets Digg articles about Obama, then celebrate because we dugg articles about obama (by digging an article about the articles about obama that we dugg). I'm sure theres another step here before we start jerking each other off......

Burried. - TPorter72, on 11/06/2008, -5/+51Ok, the whole world knows you want to have sex with Obama. Can we move on?
- shondell, on 11/06/2008, -1/+36But this is Digg
- fuxxx, on 11/06/2008, -7/+37I hate it how people are saying this.
"Yes We Can" is an incredible slogan that signals continuity. Winning an election is a huge enabler, but nobody has done anything yet.
Viewing the election from overseas, I'm very tempted to pat america on the back for doing something, and saying "yes you did" - but it's the wrong way to look at things. Obama hasn't done anything, the American people haven't done anything, and nothing has changed.
Obama can do something, the American people can do something, and much can change because of this election result, and that is the spirit of yes we can - jeremyduffy, on 11/05/2008, -11/+40I've never seen so many digs on any article. When I first saw those this morning, I thought something was broken.

- ObamaWins08, on 11/05/2008, -1/+24... create duplicate posts?
- TMTurtle, on 11/06/2008, -1/+24Agreed. I voted for Obama, but people are misinterpreting the meaning of that slogan.
"Yes We Can" doesn't refer to electing Obama. "Yes We Can" refers to changing the country for the better. We've taken the first step. We're not done yet. - archer104, on 11/06/2008, -0/+20C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER'D!!!!
- shondell, on 11/06/2008, -0/+20no theres not another step. Jerk me off now please
- airwalkery2k, on 11/06/2008, -3/+22I am going to take a screenshot of this Digg post and post it on Digg so I can digg it even harder.

- randomstupid, on 11/06/2008, -0/+16if i add enough comments one day i might appear in a screenshot
- kevlar21, on 11/06/2008, -4/+20I like the 4th one, "I Didn't Vote For Obama Today"
this would seem to go against the first three if you didn't read it. - seattlegirluw, on 11/05/2008, -21/+36well put!
- btschul, on 11/06/2008, -5/+19Digg To Obama : We drink.....your kool aid!
- GarrettGrimsley, on 11/06/2008, -0/+13We can resubmit the article's comments under a "this is why I love digg" story.

Seriously folks, I was joking when I said that, but now #10 and #13 have both come true. This is ridiculous. - murty, on 11/06/2008, -0/+11we could dine and eat fine cheese together, thats always nice :)
- Vosona, on 11/06/2008, -2/+13You really had to be there.
- civilizedevil, on 11/06/2008, -3/+13Yes We Can!
- nerdherder, on 11/06/2008, -3/+13I have been coming to digg less and less as the election came closer. I was hoping this ***** would be gone now that its over.
- aznpwnzor, on 11/06/2008, -0/+9washing your hands first
- omjeremy, on 11/06/2008, -2/+11Ahhh... I feel at home at 4chan... wait. Where am i!?
- shondell, on 11/06/2008, -3/+12Digg to Obama: We are obsessed to a point where it is unhealthy!
- Miamisun, on 11/06/2008, -1/+9Yes We Can!
- SemiSarcastic, on 11/06/2008, -2/+10Okay I really honestly cannot stand these touchy-feely-self-congratulatory articles any longer. How many reminders do we need? Are we that dumb? You Diggers with your "Yes We Can" and you...your whatever. You Diggers and your cheery happy go lucky optimism is suffocating me as I type these words. Where is the old Digg? You know, the depressed, anti-American, cynical crowd that I know and love? This happiness needs to stop right now this is ridiculous, if you people are not sad and depressed by tomorrow morning than I am leaving this site for good. I'm tired of this *****...
- barfooz, on 11/06/2008, -0/+8It's still new and fresh, circle jerks are to be expected.
- solidus636, on 11/06/2008, -6/+13Idiot.
- Miamisun, on 11/06/2008, -3/+10OK Who watched South Park tonight??? Hilarious.
- ndthl, on 11/06/2008, -0/+7or when the hd dvd crack was released, that got over 50k
- zeblith, on 11/06/2008, -1/+8I'm glad somebody said it. Things aren't over, they're barely starting.
- OwlFlavored, on 11/06/2008, -1/+8Some of my favorite things about Obama being elected are: I can stop hearing about Sarah Palin every day, "maverick" regains it's place as a word I hear about once a year, and Digg will stop talking about elections and go back to covering more important things like when dogs make cute faces.
- danwallace, on 11/06/2008, -1/+6I am America and so can you!
- jerzegurl, on 11/06/2008, -1/+6That is really a gesture of coming together.... You're an idiot...
- wiredclimber, on 11/06/2008, -7/+12What are you blind?!? Did you not see the 900 submissions that... huh? sarcasm? wuzat?
