I took a prison tour of the 'Walls Unit', which is where the death chamber is located (death row is outside of town). They walked us all through the prison, and eventually took us into this small teal room with the death bed. I was in the room. Right there. The bed was no more than 3ft in front of me. One of the eeriest moments of my life.
