- bigthree, on 12/03/2007, -0/+23If Thanksgiving doesn't lead to tears at the dinner table you aren't doing it right!
- EnjoyFailure, on 11/20/2007, -1/+10Dugg for picture of fatty ding-dongs
- intilli4, on 11/20/2007, -1/+6Just think of Thanksgiving as a celebration of a mass genocide against the American Indian race. Just so you know I am an American Indian * Mescalero Apache *
- ZenFountain, on 11/20/2007, -0/+3Industrialized agriculture is the result of consumer demand for lower prices, simple as that. Most people don't care about quality or how the food got to their table, only that it's cheap, can be made to taste good and biologically safe to eat.
- Steve95613, on 11/20/2007, -0/+2I had no idea that the same woman, Kathleen Caronna, was whacked on the head at the parade and had her apartment crashed into by Cory Lidle.
If I was her, I'd get the hell out of NYC. - 89992, on 11/20/2007, -0/+2Sad but true.
- DirtySnachez, on 11/20/2007, -0/+2dude. I died a little inside watching that.
- afdlips, on 11/20/2007, -3/+5The last thing we need is a claustrophobic turkey.
- inactive, on 11/20/2007, -0/+1"consumer demand for lower prices" - yes, and the desire of the multi-national corporations to control the food........................
- diggdowner, on 11/20/2007, -0/+1Yeah, probably. There was an HBO special on Peta pretty recently, too...
Lame article, but the submitter WAS the guy who spoiled Lost for the entire international digg community, so... - OwdenBowden, on 11/20/2007, -0/+1Trust me. After I am forced to eat my relatives food I will be crying like a baby - especially after throwing it all up later that night.
- barkeep8, on 11/20/2007, -0/+1Didn't we start this a couple of hundred years after the first "thanksgiving". I believe we shared that meal with the indians.
- satx, on 11/20/2007, -0/+1I thought Columbus Day was?
- pudgyv, on 11/20/2007, -2/+3Somebody needs to get a frigging life. Potawatomi Indian here.
- Digitalicious, on 11/20/2007, -0/+1I, conversely, will be enjoying my turkey this year.

- Commonwealth, on 11/20/2007, -0/+1I didn't mean to kill part of you. No, that's not what I wanted at all. It's just fun and games until something like this happens.

- jamdogg, on 11/20/2007, -0/+1The mass conscious of humanity is very sick.
- fatas, on 11/20/2007, -1/+2Give back their land you oil drinking bastards.
- antitab, on 11/20/2007, -3/+3Thanks, but I'd prefer to continue to think of it as a nice holiday where I can get together with distant family and eat a lot of stuff. I suppose you also recommend sacrificing to Mithra on Christmas?
- edebolt, on 11/20/2007, -1/+1it just goes to show that in any occasion depressed people can find something to focus on. What's next? the dark side of charity or world peace?
- RP53, on 11/20/2007, -0/+0Can't wait for the dark side of Xmas.
- GoYe, on 11/20/2007, -1/+0Turkey is food. I don't feel guilty in the least eating it. In fact, God gave it to us to eat.
I am grateful that God has provided it. That's the true meaning behind Thanks-Giving. Giving thanks to JEHOVAH God for his bountiful blessings to this country.
Gen 9:2 And the fear of you and the dread of you shall be upon every beast of the earth, and upon every fowl of the air, upon all that moveth upon the earth, and upon all the fishes of the sea; into your hand are they delivered.
Gen 9:3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things. - Hazardc, on 11/20/2007, -2/+1i was expecting this to be some really lame peta ad or some other crap article but it was pretty funny actually.
- K3ITHK, on 11/20/2007, -5/+3Did peta write the sections about the turkeys?
- dillyhoo, on 11/20/2007, -7/+5DoubleViking + Social commentary = Humorless rant against fat people.
