- MasterThief117, on 10/10/2007, -1/+154Well, it's on the Internet, so it must be true...
- michaelaranda, on 10/10/2007, -1/+88Someone post some before and after pics, quick!
- BlackOp, on 10/10/2007, -2/+79Or you could just buy toothpaste that has baking soda in it..
Also, you're not supposed to brush your teeth within 30-60 minutes of eating fruit or anything acidic.. It damages the enamel. - Bloc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+77Don't do it the other way round! It's scientifically proven there's no worse taste than orange juice after you've brushed your teeth!
- shooby, on 10/10/2007, -2/+67How do you remember how many o's are in your user name????
- Sharky35, on 10/10/2007, -6/+62You can also whiten your teeth with *****!
- rkzda, on 10/10/2007, -2/+49A simple search and I found this was taken from health.com. http://www.health.com/health/article/0,23414,1136070,00.html
- spiffytech, on 10/10/2007, -0/+37It can't be any worse than just eating strawberries more than once.
- sfinney180, on 10/10/2007, -2/+36or you can just brush your teeth
- leatherback, on 10/10/2007, -1/+33Sounds like a recipe for red teeth...even the site says DUMB MAN!
- aDJsavedmylife, on 10/10/2007, -0/+29So after removing the yellowness your teeth became more purple?
- Murdats, on 10/10/2007, -0/+28that sounds like even more reason to do it.
- AngryBacon, on 10/10/2007, -2/+29I buried you to put you back at 12 :D
- alexforcefive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+27And tasty!
- aDJsavedmylife, on 10/10/2007, -1/+26You clean your house with strawberries and baking soda?
- carguy84, on 10/10/2007, -1/+23That dude needs a bic and a sandblaster
- Phyltre, on 10/10/2007, -2/+24The "truth" is, the baking soda is what cleans your teeth--the strawberries do jack squat. They're just there to make the idea sound "new."
- meatmcguffin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+20Baking soda cleans all sorts of stuff, like the insides of coffee machines. Strawberries....not so much.
- burkay, on 10/10/2007, -0/+20I knew there was something wrong in his claim. You nailed it for me.
- abid786, on 10/10/2007, -3/+22Awww.. brushing after drinking orange juice always felt so good.
- speedyrev, on 10/10/2007, -2/+21Just use blueberries and omit the baking soda. Guaranteed to get rid of the yellow.
- Godlike, on 10/10/2007, -1/+19Aside from that baking soda is alkaline so what do you think will happen to the acid in the berry when you mix the two? Neutralized.
- GamingTrend, on 10/10/2007, -3/+19It slices, it dices, it makes juillanned fries! Seriously, the 'source' doesn't link to anything that can be verified. Not that I don't trust 'dumblittleman.com' implicitly.
- Markpdotcom, on 10/10/2007, -0/+16I see you've never tasted chocolate after brushing!
- boredallas, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15Make sure you violently eat a bunch of Oreo cookies and neglect to wash it out of your stubble (like the guy in the pic). It's a great contrast to white teeth.
- ani625, on 10/10/2007, -4/+18Buddy. you need some sense-ness
- Stevanoski, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14And use used up sandpaper to clean yourself after defecating, just don't flush.
- zeroooooooooooo, on 10/10/2007, -23/+36The strawberries have nothing to do with it.
- spudnic, on 10/10/2007, -5/+18The strawberries contain acid, which dissolves the surface layer of your tooth. Doing this more than a few times is not a great idea for obvious reasons.
- jcaino, on 10/10/2007, -1/+14no, milk after orange juice is about the worst.
- zeroooooooooooo, on 10/10/2007, -18/+30hahaha, yeah. 12 is my lucky number.
- speedyrev, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Could they have found a more horrible picture?
- krisscofield, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13I still like Darkie toothpaste.
- djagia, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Use bleach! My dad does all the time! It works, just don't swallow it.
- voyetra8, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12"The secret to this inexpensive home whitening method is malic acid, which acts as an astringent to remove surface discoloration"
Uhhhh, an "astringent" is a substance which causes biological tissue to contract or draw together. - Charlotte_Web, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11Turpentine after brushing is the worst.
It doesn't taste right. - code2joy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11very informative.. thank you
- Jonny5alive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10The teeth in the picture don't look very white to me.
It looks like it has stained his teeth red in places.... - mishsquish, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Yogurt after brushing. Bad.
- IMustBeEmo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9I can't tell if you're serious or not.
- g2g079, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9I think I'll stick with coal.
- Rocketbird, on 10/10/2007, -2/+10Brilliant! You instantly brought credibility to this article.
Unfortunately I accidentally clicked the red button instead of the green one ._. - jwwbear, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8I'm going to go try that now, thanks for the tip!
- grakker, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9Damn you made me laugh. Thanks.
- socokoolaid, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7blue + yellow =
- WikiEasy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7Whiteout works better.
- Flare, on 10/10/2007, -2/+8And should I wash that off with a golden shower?
- socokoolaid, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Baking soda is a base, and should help to reduce the acidity of the strawberry.
- KyleGoetz, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Yes, the malic acid in the strawberries does it. Source at health.com
http://www.health.com/health/article/0,23414,1136070,00.html - mjordan13, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5The effective ingredient here is baking soda. I think the strawberries were added for flavor. Way back when, my grandfather would brush with baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. This works well... just don't swalllow.
