- KevenM, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Custom fragrances? You know some idiot out there is going to make ass-scented play dough now.
- carbonetc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Now I'm wondering how someone would go about harvesting ass-scent.
Actually, no, I'm going to let it remain a mystery. - aussieNickuss, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5My Mum used to make it for me when I was little. Then she stopped, because I would always walk large amounts of it into the carpet.
- billycustodio, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3"been there, done that.
'twas neat when i was eight..."...and tis fun now that I'm 34. - aussieNickuss, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3"Play-Doh" is the commercial equivalent to the generic "Playdough". Although made out of petroleum derived ingredients.
- mlostracco, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Play-Doh fragrance: http://toys.about.com/b/a/257119.htm
- AriaStar, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I hate having to go page by page.
Basic ingredient ratios:
2 cups flour
2 cups warm water
1 cup salt
2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
1 Tablespoon cream of tartar (optional for improved elasticity)
food coloring
scented oils
Stir it all up over low heat until it looks like cookie batter inconsistency and let it cool.
Have fun by adding in a few drops of different flavored oils. - skyfire1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I made a wiener with it lol.
- metalmilitiaa, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3i remember when my mum would make this for me when i was young.... i used to eat it lol was so salty

- Orcmors, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2It's not about the end ; it's about the journey. I can see it being a great project to do with the kids on a lazy weekend.
- Ghoztt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1But the real question is...
...does it -taste as good?- - Altotus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1WARNING: The Department of Homeland Security would like you to know that "Play-dough" is a suspicious material. Carrying or plyaing with playdough in a public place will raise alarms that it may be a plasitc explosive of some sort and persons playing with it may be subject to search, arrest, and, depending on the circumstances, shot on sight. A message brought to you from the Boston Police Mooninite and Breadboard Response Team (BPMBT).
- virtualball, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Custom fragrance? That's the best part of playdough! The smell of it grinding into the carpet!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Does this mean I can eat it now? What about glue?
- treelovinhippie, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2But can it be used as an explosive?
(Futurama) - WaterDragon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1They should include instructions for how to get the color off your hands, after you are done kneading the color ones.

- Camphlobactor, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1That's nice, but was the phonetic spelling really necessary?
