It got him a couple of feet off the ground before the claws tore through his ears and ripped them into shreds. They had to be stitched back together. That dog was terrified of anything that flew overhead for the rest of his life.

This was a compassionate idea from a kind human who wanted to meet their needs for comfort as well as handing them food. It makes a difference to all living things to feel closeness.
