- Haoie, on 04/06/2009, -3/+98Rest in pieces.
- inactive, on 04/05/2009, -3/+75well it's not like he was gonna need those legs anymore.
- wrathchilde, on 04/05/2009, -1/+58Dude, you should buy an XXL coffin now, stash it in the garage, then tattoo a note on your legs:
"No need to cut these off, there's a big coffin in the back, behind my car" - avataros, on 04/06/2009, -3/+27A bit offtopic, but not entirely unrelated in humor:
On the death of the obese televangelist Jerry Falwell:
"If you gave him an enema, you could bury him in a matchbox"
- Christopher Hitchens - malanic, on 04/06/2009, -0/+20"Around town, Hines was an unforgettable figure, and not just because of his size. An albino black man, he performed for decades as a soul and funk guitarist."
Well I was interested in what he looked like, and what he sounded like, so here's a pic;

RIP - RealmDown, on 04/06/2009, -0/+19If there isn't room,
you must still entomb. - ignacious, on 04/05/2009, -3/+22That company has a leg up on the competition.
Good luck beating that! - andyb747, on 04/07/2009, -0/+17to get him in there must have been quite a feet
- lunken, on 04/05/2009, -0/+16I'm 2 meter tall...
- veriix, on 04/07/2009, -1/+16"The interior length of a standard coffin is about 2.03 meters but can vary by a few inches"
WTF if you're gonna have terms of metric then stay in metric! Pick a side, we're at war! - chief100, on 04/07/2009, -0/+12If this happened to Heather Mills it would only be half as bad.
- nbcaffeine, on 04/07/2009, -0/+122 meters is 6'7"
If 2 meters is normal, you're the midget - semengilligan, on 04/07/2009, -0/+122 meters > 2 yards
About 6' 5" tall - jer21, on 04/07/2009, -0/+11I bet he would have given and arm and a leg for a bigger coffin.
- eggraid, on 04/06/2009, -1/+11I guess you could say he parted in suspicious circumstances.
- wpc33, on 04/07/2009, -0/+9This was a Tales From The Crypt episode.
218 "Fitting Punishment" - multiformat, on 04/07/2009, -1/+9That corpse doesn't have a leg to stand on.
- Zippo, on 04/06/2009, -2/+9Are coffins usually sized for the person who's going to enter it? You'd think the first question a casket seller should ask is "how tall is he/she?"
- inactive, on 04/07/2009, -0/+7I am 2.038 meters, and they can stuff me in the coffin any way they like. It is not like I am not used to it with cars.
- Mufaka, on 04/07/2009, -1/+8which is 6 foot 6.74 inches.
- moose26, on 04/07/2009, -2/+8He really got short ended.
- inactive, on 04/07/2009, -1/+7Due to the current recession, the funeral home has been making cutbacks.
- VelcroMonkey, on 04/07/2009, -1/+7If this guy was alive, I am sure he would just be beside himself...
- barfooz, on 04/07/2009, -0/+6Cremated 2 meter long people fit in urns too.
- ProfessorLX, on 04/07/2009, -0/+6im 8'6" (worlds tallest man) and im having a custom ivory coffin made, i figure: hey if im going, i should try to take as many elephants with me as possible! amiright?!
- KSUdesigner, on 04/07/2009, -0/+62 meters = 6.56 feet (6' 6.72")
No, it's not over 2 meters. Close, but not quite. - Chompy, on 04/07/2009, -1/+7Who cares? He's friggin' dead! They can blend my corpse when I die, for all I care. Bury me in a Blendtec.
- chief100, on 04/07/2009, -1/+6This case has no legs.
- ProfessorLX, on 04/07/2009, -0/+5I GET IT, HE WAS FULL OF *****!
- Shawn4168, on 04/07/2009, -0/+5"Around town, Hines was an unforgettable figure, and not just because of his size. An albino black man, he performed for decades as a soul and funk guitarist."
Never mind his size, I'm curious to know what exactly an albino black man looks like. - papashawn, on 04/07/2009, -1/+6Amazing how worked up people get over someone's lifeless remains.
- CoD4, on 04/07/2009, -0/+4ask babyman

http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_rAHeUmcEWZM/RgJrMpwI6UI/ ... - ShempRider, on 04/07/2009, -0/+4The article's on a NZ site.
- MatzahMan, on 04/05/2009, -1/+5I wonder what the rates are for extra large coffins?
- superterrorizer, on 04/07/2009, -0/+4That's why I'm visiting a taxidermist for all my funeral arrangements. Just prop uncle mason up by the Christmas Tree every year and all will be well.
- ksalminen, on 04/07/2009, -2/+6Pics or it didn't happen.
- calcio0fan, on 04/07/2009, -1/+5K great, so 12*.56167979 = 6.74, so 6' 6.74".. are you happy?
- Snoogs, on 04/07/2009, -0/+4Why do all all our meetings end with unearthing a corpse?
- derekmas10, on 04/07/2009, -0/+3What? One size DOESN'T fit all???
- derekmas10, on 04/07/2009, -2/+5No, they get dunked straight into the earth
- geodebug, on 04/07/2009, -0/+2"...including "Funky Funk" and "Can't Think of Nothing (Blank Mind)."
I'm guessing if you "can't think of nothing" for a good name to a funk song then "Funky Funk" would be it.
Seems a bit silly for the widow to get too upset about it unless it was done to rip her off somehow (though the article said she'd have to pay more for a longer casket). After draining your blood, shoving a big cork up your ass and clamping off your crank, breaking any rigor mortis, and putting on make up I think cutting an inch or two off my legs to fit into the coffin wouldn't be sacrilege. - Killphibian, on 04/07/2009, -0/+2Also an H.P. Lovecraft short story "In the Vault"
- inactive, on 04/07/2009, -1/+3So they only cut the 2 legs right.... they left him with some dignity and left the 3rd leg alone?
- njiska, on 04/07/2009, -0/+2I was just thinking the exact same thing, only this undertaker gets to keep his achillies tendons in one piece.
- borez, on 04/07/2009, -0/+2Nice tune
- inactive, on 04/07/2009, -0/+2Good things seldom happen when you start cutting off body parts.
- Ajblu, on 04/07/2009, -0/+2Lovecraft anyone? In the Vault?
I guess if it isn't about Cthulhu it doesn't matter... - StormFreak, on 04/07/2009, -0/+2Corpse smoke... don't breathe this in...
- cmotdibbler, on 04/07/2009, -0/+2But will you blend?
